Tyla Channels Y2K Glamour in Roberto Cavalli Minidress at Nickelodeon's Kids' Choice Awards 2025

Tyla brought summer colorways and Y2K inspiration to the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards 2025 on Saturday in Santa Monica, Calif. The Grammy Award-winning singer served as the host for the evening's proceedings. For one of her many looks during the 2025 Kids' Choice Awards, Tyla wore a strapless minidress courtesy of Roberto Cavalli's spring 2006 ready-to-wear collection. Her dress featured a subtle high-low skirt with layers of draped fabric and a flowing silhouette and cascading ruffles. It included an ombre colorway quality, with the strapless look transitioning from an orange tone to bright yellow. The 'Water' singer coordinated the dress with a vintage-inspired hat and wore chunky jewelry pieces, including a necklace with a heart pendant. Tyla's look was curated by stylist Law Roach, who regularly collaborates with such stars as Zendaya, among others. Roach served as the stylist for Tyla's 2025 Met Gala look last May, which featured the singer in a floor-length Jacquemus dress with a coordinated dramatic coat and a long train with a black and white stripe motif throughout. Since her rise to mainstream fame, Tyla's collaborations with high-profile designers and accessories brands have grown. Last April, the singer was announced as the latest brand ambassador for Pandora, with a fresh campaign and curated collection highlighting some of the singer's favorite pieces. 'Partnering with Pandora is such an exciting thing to do. I've always found their jewelry so fun to style because you can create your own unique pieces of jewelry,' Tyla said of the collaboration in a statement. 'It reminds me so much of home because mom always made jewelry, and the birthstone charms remind me of the beads I used to have lying around in my house growing up. Whenever our mother wanted us not to bother her, she'd give us a big container of beads and my sisters and I would make friendship bracelets all day. Now my Tygers can have matching friendship bracelets with me.' The Nickelodeon 2025 Kids' Choice Awards were also attended by Ice Spice, Victoria Monét, Jack Black and others.
