July 10: Lady Captain's Away Day at Teesside. 1st - Sandi Bellwood, Nicola Crosby, and Janet Pollard with 92 points 2nd - Julia Grainger, Sandra Mair, and Christine Keates with 86 points 3rd - Pam Gresty, Julie Philpott, and Sandra Dunn with 81 points The longest drive was won by Nicola Crosby. July 17 Medal 1st - Nina Lee with 66 pts 2nd - Nicola Crosby with 73 pts (and lowest gross score) 3rd - Angie Sims with 74 pts LADIES 9 HOLE QUALIFIER 1st - Dorothy Edwards with 20 points 2nd - Diane Clothier with 19 points

Romanby Golf Club B Team celebrate victory over Ripon Ladies
Romanby Golf Club saw a series of competitions and victories in June. The club's B Team secured a convincing win on June 23 against Ripon Ladies at Romanby, with an overall score of four and a half to half. Advertisement Recognition goes to Lindsay Whincup, Jacki Toner, Sue Russell, Julie Scott, and Sandra Horner. On June 26, Christine Keates triumphed in the Ladies June Medal. Nicola Crosby was awarded the lowest gross score. Mrs Crosby claimed the 'two club' on holes 4 and 15. Pat Fawcett won the Ladies 9 Hole Qualifier. Amanda Thompson, winner of Jacandra Trophy.
