They report that the Nerazzurri see the 20-year-old Turkish international as a prospective target for the attacking midfield role. Cristian Chivu is reportedly ready to ditch the 3-5-2 shape, and specifically the idea of a strike partnership. Instead of having two strikers lead the line, the Romanian reportedly prefers to have a single centre-forward with two attacking midfielders flanking him. And that changes the nature of Inter's transfer strategy this summer. Zalewski set to join Inter on permanent deal

As confirmed by Fabrizio Romano, despite the managerial change, Inter's plans have remained the same: the Milan-based club will activate Zalewski's 6 million euro option.
