Suspects wanted for hate crime, vandalism in Scripps Ranch
SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — Authorities are asking for the public's help in locating multiple suspects connected to a recent hate crime and vandalism in the Scripps Ranch neighborhood.
The incident unfolded shortly after 3 a.m. on Feb. 14, 2025, according to a press release from San Diego County Crime Stoppers. Three people reportedly walked up to a residence with spray paint in hand.

Authorities said the residence had a fence that was painted in the colors of the LGBTQ flag. The suspects are accused of spray-painting that fence with anti-LGBTQ slurs. Additionally, a yard sign which read 'Hate Has No Home Here' was reportedly taken from in front of the fence.
Surveillance cameras on the property captured the incident, showing footage of the suspects before they noticed the camera. The suspect then removed the camera and stole it from the residence, the press release detailed. They were last seen running northbound on Semillon Boulevard.
According to authorities, this particular residence has been the target of several hate crimes, specifically the fence.
The three suspects, who all appeared to be males in their late teens or early 20s, were described as wearing dark clothing. One of the suspects were reported to be wearing glasses and possibly Nike Free running shoes.
