Former Arizona Cardinals DL J.J. .Watt announces birth of second child
Watt announced the birth of son Niko Benjamin Watt. Former Arizona Cardinals defensive lineman J.J. Watt is a father for the second time. He announced the birth of his and his wife Kealia's second son, Niko Benjamin Watt, this week on social media. He was born on June 14. Watt finished his NFL career in 2022, playing the final two seasons for the Cardinals after a decade with the Houston Texans. Their first son, Koa, was born in October 2022, during Watt's final season. Congratulations to the family and the new addition. Watt finished his 12-year career surely to make the Pro Football Hall of Fame. He had 114.5 career sacks, was a three-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year, a five-time Pro Bowler and a five-time first-team All-Pro. While with the Cardinals, in his final season, he had 12.5 sacks to lead the team, 18 tackles for loss, 25 quarterback hits and seven tipped passes. NFL legend JJ Watt announces life-changing news with former US soccer star wife Kealia
NFL legend JJ Watt and his wife, former US Soccer star Kealia Watt, have announced the birth of their second child and son, Niko Benjamin Watt, who was born on June 14. The couple announced the birth in a joint post on Instagram, with a roll of four photos from the hospital. The first shows the now complete family of four, with son Koa, 2, joining his parents on a hospital bed alongside his younger brother. 'Overcome with joy and gratitude. Niko Benjamin Watt. 6.14.25,' the post's caption read, alongside blue and red heart emojis - which double as Houston Texans and US Soccer colors. The second photo on social media shows Koa giving a kiss on the forehead to his younger brother. The final two pictures show JJ and Kealia alone with their newest son. JJ spent two seasons with the Arizona Cardinals and is a shoe-in to enter the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2027. Kealia spent the final two seasons of her soccer career with the Chicago Red Stars. The couple were engaged in 2019 and married a year later. In October 2022, JJ and Kealia became parents for the first time with Koa's birth.
