'Beneath The Skin' Nnenna Freelon
Enjoy a new record from singer Nnenna Freelon. She's an American vocalist who has worked with the who's who of jazz - from Herbie Hancock to Al Jarreau to George Benson - and her latest record is a showcase of the singer's original songwriting that melds her love of improvised music with elements of soul, swing and the blues.
Joining Freelon across this session are names like Steve Hass on drums and Keith Granz on guitar as well as pianist Alan Pasqua who also contributed to the project as an arranger.
