Ratlin mocks Top5 after London stabbing incident during Wireless Festival weekend
UK rapper Ratlin has made headlines after calling Canadian artist Top5 a 'police bwoy' in the aftermath of a reported stabbing incident involving the Toronto native. According to keep6ixsolid on Instagram, Ratlin mocked Top5's alleged reaction to the attack by writing, 'Police bwoy bout call 911,' in the comments of a related post, accompanied by laughing emojis. Top5, whose real name is Hassan Ali, was in London attending the Wireless Festival for Drake's headlining set when the stabbing reportedly took place. Details around the incident remain unclear. Some sources claim Top5 called for emergency medical help on the street, but this has not been officially confirmed. As of now, neither Top5 nor his representatives have addressed the situation publicly. Ratlin, known in the UK rap scene for mixtapes like Summertime in Mexico and Youngest In Charge, has not clarified what prompted his remark about Top5. There is no known public history of conflict between the two, making the comment particularly unexpected. Top5, affiliated with Drake's OVO camp, is recognized for fusing street-oriented themes with mainstream media appearances, including interviews with platforms like No Jumper. The incident—and Ratlin's online jab—has sparked speculation across both UK and Canadian hip-hop circles, with fans awaiting a potential response once Top5's recovery is confirmed. As the situation develops, it remains to be seen how others in the hip-hop community—particularly in the UK, Toronto, and the U.S.—will respond. For now, the focus is on Top5's recovery and whether this remark from Ratlin might lead to further tension between the two artists.

The clip, meant as a Fourth of July stunt, stunningly turned on him as one of the explosives detonated in his hand. Rapper 4xtra loses ‘2 fingers' in gruesome fireworks mishap after joking about ‘blowing' somebody up
Infamous last words. A rapper and podcast host blew part of his hand off in a gruesome Fourth of July fireworks mishap after sharing a video on social media holding fireworks and joking about blowing somebody up. 'Who wants to get blown up today,' rapper 4xtra asks in the Independence Day post. 'I'm going to blow your a– up! I'm blowing somebody up today.' Advertisement That somebody, it turns out, was himself. Rapper 4xtra blew off part of his hand in a fireworks mishap after jokingly threatening to blow people up with them. GoFundMe The rapper and co-host of No Jumper, a podcast and YouTube show, sustained a ghastly injury when one of the fireworks exploded in his hand. Advertisement 4xtra now has two fewer fingers, according to social media reports. A post on the No Jumper podcast's X account said the rapper had 'reportedly blown off his hand with a firework.' An image purporting to show the grisly injury was also circulating on social media. No Jumper owner Adam22 clarified the extent of 4xtra's injuries in a separate post from his personal account. Advertisement 'I'm hearing that 4xtra only lost 2 fingers not the whole hand,' he wrote. 'Also he was blind for a few hours but apparently his vision is back.' In other parts of his video 4xtra makes more playful threats. 'Dead homies, who wants to get blown up today,' he asks. 'Stop playing, you see these,' he says, rolling the stubby fireworks around in his hand, one red and one tan. 'I'm throwing them in your house. I'm blowing them at ya.' Advertisement 'Off the bat,' he screams, just as the video ends. It is unclear if these are the same fireworks that blew off two of rapper 4xtra's fingers in a mishap. Instagram / 4xtradageneral 4xtra's sister, Emily, started a GoFundMe page to help with medical expenses from her brother's ghastly injury. 'On the 4th of July, 4XTRA was injured in a firework accident,' the page reads. 'As many of you know, medical care can be incredibly expensive and add up very fast.' 'Resan is someone who lights up every room with his humor and energy,' Emily wrote, using the rapper's real name. 'If you've ever laughed with him, shared a moment, or simply care about his well-being.' 'Any support-from donations to prayers or even just sharing this-means the world to us,' she added. More than 45,000 people visit the ER on July 4 and 5 each year, according to the Pew Research Center — which means that out of all the holidays celebrated by Americans Independence Day is the one with the highest number of daily medical emergencies. 'This time of year, we see big increases in traumatic injuries and heat-related illness,' Dr. Ryan Marino, M.D., an ER doctor and associate professor at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. Advertisement 'While fireworks accidents and injuries get most of the attention, there are far more falls, broken bones, head injuries and car accidents, just to name a few.' Dr. Robert Biernbaum, an emergency medicine physician in Fairport, New York, who is also the chief medical officer at WellNow Urgent Care, said that July 4th is a busy holiday for emergency rooms and that fireworks are a big contributor. 'We see everything from minor hand and facial burns to severe trauma from fireworks exploding in close proximity,' he said. 'Improvised or illegal fireworks tend to cause the worst damage.'
