Napoli sign Dutch international forward Lang
"SSC Napoli announces that it has definitively acquired the registration of the player Noa Noell Lang from PSV Eindhoven," the Serie A outfit wrote in a short statement on their website. According to Italian media, Napoli have paid 25 million euros ($29 million) for the 26-year-old who is the second high-profile player to leave PSV within the last week following Malik Tillman's move to Bayer Leverkusen. Lang came through the ranks at Ajax, before joining Belgian side Club Brugge in October 2020 on loan, later making the move permanent the following summer. In 2023, Lang signed for PSV where he would go on to make 63 appearances in all competitions, scoring 19 goals and creating 14 more. During his time with PSV he won two Eredivisie titles, in addition to the brace of Belgian league titles he collected at Brugge. Noa boasts 14 caps for the Netherlands, scoring three goals and laying on two assists for the Oranje. The addition of the diminutive winger follows on from Napoli's acquisition of Kevin De Bruyne from Manchester City -- Italy's biggest transfer of the summer. Napoli are also in advanced negotiations with Udinese to sign another attacker in Italy international Lorenzo Lucca (35 million euros) and are targeting Bologna's Dutch defender Sam Beukema (30 million euros). Napoli, crowned Italian champions for the fourth time in their history last season, hope to finance these arrivals with the permanent transfer of Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen to Galatasaray for a fee of 75 million euros.

PSV confirms: Lang makes transfer to Napoli
Noa Lang's transfer to Napoli has been finalised, with PSV confirming the 26-year-old winger's departure. The Eindhoven club had previously reached an agreement with the Italian champions for a transfer package of €28 million. Lang had reportedly been on Napoli's radar for some time, but PSV refused to cooperate on a transfer during the winter. Now, the Dutch champions have agreed to the departure of the 14-cap Dutch international, who joined from Club Brugge in 2023 for approximately €12.5 million. He signs a five-year contract at the Stadio Diego Maradona. PSV technical director Earnest Stewart: 'Noa is an unpredictable player who can break open or decide a match at any moment. He was a valuable asset to PSV, and off the pitch, we got to know him as a very sociable guy who fit in well with the team. We will miss Noa, but we wholeheartedly wish him the best with this fantastic transfer.' GBeNeFN | Max Bradfield

The Dutch international has 14 senior caps for the Netherlands and came up through the Ajax youth academy. Following loans at FC Twente and Club Brugge, Lang was sold to the Belgians for €6m, then moved on to PSV Eindhoven for €12.5m in the summer of 2023. He represents one of several big investments for Antonio Conte's side, who won the Serie A title last season, as Sam Beukema is also set to complete his move from Bologna later this week.
