Four Irish pubs ranked among Europe's top 100 bars for 2025
Four Irish pubs have earned spots in the prestigious European Bar Guide's Top 100 Bars in Europe for 2025 – with two making it into the coveted top 25.
Leading the Irish entries is John Kavanagh The Gravediggers in Glasnevin, Dublin, which ranked an impressive 14th. The Guide praises it as: 'Heaven in Glasnevin, where all the tall tales about the 'best Guinness in Dublin' finally come true.' Pic: Facebook
Also flying the flag for Dublin is Grogan's on South William Street, which came in at 24th. Of the iconic city-centre pub, the Guide noted: 'Getting a seat at this iconic pub becomes ever more difficult, but there are strong reasons to persevere.' Pic: Noel Bennett/Shutterstock
The other two Irish spots on the list can be found in Co. Kerry – both located in the picturesque town of Dingle.
Dick Mack's on Green Street was placed 17th, with the Guide describing it as a 'brewery, wall of whisky, haberdashery, garden, good craic and good song.' View this post on Instagram

Meanwhile, Tig Bhric in Ballyferriter, just outside Dingle, came in at 28th. The Guide highlights its charm as 'a small West Kerry brewery with cask beer in a wonderfully cosy pub with views of the peninsula.'
Taking the top spot overall on this year's list is La Fleur En Papier Doré in Brussels, while Belgium also dominated the rankings more broadly, claiming three of the top five spots.
