The Science stream had the highest number of admissions in the first round, totaling 2,35,506, followed by the Arts stream with 1,17,447, and the Commerce stream with 79,334 confirmed admissions. A total of 93.04 per cent of students had cleared the Maharashtra Board SSC exam. Girls outperformed boys once again. The pass percentage among girls stood at 96.14 per cent while among boys it was 92.31 per cent. The Konkan division secured the best-performing district title yet again. In 2024, the Maharashtra SSC results were announced on May 27. The overall pass percentage stood at 95.81 per cent. The pass percentage among girls last year was 97.21 per cent and 94.56 per cent among boys. In 2023, the pass percentage among girls stood at 95.87 per cent.
