Tanzanian club submits loan offer for Chiefs goalkeeper
TS Galaxy are also said to be interested in a loan move for him. Tanzanian giants Young Africans (Yanga) SC have reportedly enquired into the availability of Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Facre Ntwari and have submitted a loan offer. Ntwari, who joined Amakhosi from TS Galaxy at the beginning of the 2024/25 season, faces an uncertain future at Chiefs following his unconvincing start to his Amakhosi career last season. Kaizer Chiefs: R7-million goalkeeper to make way for new signing
Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeping department is set to undergo changes. Kaizer Chiefs are making wholesale changes across their squad. Meaning, no position is immune to being cut by Amakhosi management. The latest player heading out is this R7-million goalkeeper. Chiefs will be loaning out of selling Fiacre Ntwari. 'Its believed that they are still planning on loaning out Ntwari and bringing in another goalkeeper, but that will affect Ntwari and Chiefs are still working on his move before the start of the season,' the insider told SNL. Meaning, Amakhosi plans to release Ntwari. Meanwhile, Chiefs are still in the market for a new goalkeeper. So, Nasreddine Nabi and Amakhosi management are set to release Ntwari to make space for a new keeper. This will also free up a foreign-based spot in the Amakhosi squad. Stanley Nwabili is one of the big-name potential replacements lined up by Chiefs. Yanga SC have expressed interested in signing Ntwari. 'Yanga SC have enquired about Ntwari and it remains to be seen whether they are the rightful suitors or there are teams locally who could get him on loan. But from Chiefs perspective, they are still looking at opening space in the goalkeeping department,' he added on the same publication. So, a move out of Naturena is in the best interest of both parties involved. For Ntwari, he needs to move if he is going to play more regularly. He was dropped by Nabi halfway through the 2024/25 PSL season. He was replaced by Brandon Petersen and Bruce Bvuma who rotated the starting berth in goal throughout the second half of the campaign. Meanwhile, as mentioned, Chiefs want to create space for a new goalkeeper and they want to free up space for future international signings. Kaizer Chiefs (Signings and Exits): Goalkeeper heading out, replacement identified
Kaizer Chiefs are undergoing a major squad overhaul with player departures and arrivals lined up. Kaizer Chiefs have already confirmed the departure of FIVE players – Ranga Chivaviro, Njabuo Blom, Sabelo Radebe, Edmilson Dove and Mduduzi Mdantsane have all been released. However, Amakhosi are far from done with trimming their squad. This Chiefs goalkeeper is heading out of Naturena. Meanwhile, his potential replacement/s have also been identified. Chiefs goalkeeper, Fiacre Ntwari is heading out of Naturena. As reported on The South African, he is set to leave Amakhosi. Ultimately, management is split between loaning him out and selling him. As things stand, they are leaning towards a loan move for Ntwari. He has failed to impress Nasreddine Nabi and Amakhosi supporters since joining Chiefs at the start of last season. Half way through the season he was replaced by Bruce Bvuma/Brendan Peterson. Thus, indicating that the keeper has fallen out of favour with Nabi. Amakhosi have identified several red-hot transfer targets set to replace Ntwari in goal. Stanley Nwabili is one of Chiefs' main tranfer targets. Meanwhile, Croatian goalkeeper, Antonio Tuta is linked with both Amakhosi and Orlando Pirates. These THREE goalkeepers are on Chiefs' radar. Chiefs have a whol team worth of new players – these 11 new players have reportedly joined to the first team. This includes TWO European-based signings, FIVE promotions and FOUR players from PSL rivals. Meanwhile, they are expected to sign these players from Orlando Pirates, Mamelodi Sundowns and Bafana Bafana. In contrast, as mentioned, FIVE Amakhosi player departures have been confirmed. Whilst, a total of FOUR more Chiefs players are heading out of Naturena. Let us know by leaving a comment below or sending a WhatsApp to 060 011 0211. Kaizer Chiefs news: Edson Castillo and Fiacre Ntwari
Betway Premiership giants Kaizer Chiefs are linked to high-profile players around the African continent, but the Premier Soccer League will have the last say. The names include the sought-after Fiston Mayele, Feisal Salum, Maxi Nzengeli, and Jean Claude Ahoua. According to the Premier Soccer League rules, clubs can only register five foreign nationals. What is the current situation in the Kaizer Chiefs squad? Kaizer Chiefs news: Medical tests and Kabelo Nkgwesa As reported last Tuesday, Amakhosi made their first big decision on a foreign national. Edmilson Dove, who played 10 times due to a lengthy injury layoff, has become the first sacrifice. Latest: Rulani Mokwena to Orlando Pirates The Mozambican international joined Amakhosi in August 2022 from UD Songo. He left the club after 56 games, including two goals. So, what does this mean for the foreign spots? With Dove gone, Amakhos have four foreign players left: Fiacre Ntwari, Inacio Miguel, Edson Castillo, and Glody Lilepo. According to reports, Rwanda international goalkeeper Ntwari is linked with a departure, as well as the 31-year-old Venezuelan Castillo. Kaizer Chiefs offered player to solve their goalkeeping problems!
Kaizer Chiefs are looking to revamp their playing squad ahead of the 2025/26 season which is looming large. Chiefs will soon jet off to the Netherlands to prepare for what could be a very busy season of fixture congestion. There have been quite a few rumours with regards to who Chiefs are targeting. But before those players come in, they're moving quickly to free up some space. Last week, they announced the departures of academy products Sabelo Radebe and Njabulo Blom. Following that, they have also confirmed the release of striker Ranga Chivaviro. There are other players who find themselves in a similar boat heading into pre-season. It is thought that the likes of Tebogo Potsane, Mduduzi Mdantsane, George Matlou, Zitha Kwinika and Fiacre Ntwari are next. Ntwari, unlike the others, is under more pressure and scrutiny seeing as though he takes up a foreign space. That then also works against him because his lack of game time will make the club see him as disposable to Chiefs. It's also believed that Chiefs have already decided they want to offload Ntwari after just one season at the club. Now according to Soccer-Laduma, Nigerian shot-stopper Japhet Opubo could be offered to the Glamour Boys imminently. 'Japhet Opubo is a top goalkeeper who has proven himself in Nigeria over the past few seasons and he could be a good addition at a big club like Kaizer Chiefs, representatives are assessing options for him, and there is a possibility that he can be offered to Chiefs.' Said a source to the publication. It now remains to seen if Chiefs will tae Opubo ahead of next season. Amakhosi fans these be a a good decision? Let us know by clicking on the comment tab.
