Intan: I am not showing off
ACTRESS Datin Intan Najuwa has denied claims that she is flaunting her luxurious lifestyle on social media.
The 27-year-old artiste said that she shares updates on her life and activities, even before her marriage, to inspire others.
"What I upload on my social media is for my pleasure and to interact with my followers.
"I do share my life's developments and activities on social media from before I was married, so it can be an inspiration to others. I want people to view everything from an optimistic perspective.
"Please don't interpret it as me wanting to 'show off' because these are my activities as a wife and mother at home.
"It's not an act, like pretending to push a pram or anything," she said when met at a recent donation handover event with the Nurjiwa Foundation, organised by Inayah Beauty.
On the personal nurse who cares for her 7-month-old daughter, Imane Lunara, Intan clarifies that her husband, Datuk Ahmad Azraf Azman, arranged for the nurse.
"Thank goodness, my husband arranged for a nurse for our child. He may have wanted to make things easier for me because I tend to be a bit paranoid, and my husband felt this would put his wife at ease.
"My intentions are the same as any other mother out there who wants the best for their children, and I will provide the best I possibly can.
"However, please don't feel inferior as a mother if you don't have a nanny, because everyone's circumstances are different.
"Every mother ultimately wants the best for their child," she said.
On negative remarks on social media, Intan stressed that she only focuses on the positive comments she receives.
Previously, Intan's openness in sharing what appeared to be her luxurious life had garnered varied reactions from netizens.
Intan married businessman Ahmad Azraf on Aug 18, 2023.
She shared an Instagram post on Dec 15 last year announcing the birth of Imane.
