Impaired GTA driver on Highway 11 charged after traffic complaint: OPP
A driver from the Greater Toronto Area was charged after allegedly driving while impaired on Highway 11 in Oro-Medonte early Sunday morning.
According to Orillia OPP, officers responded to a 4 a.m. traffic complaint about a northbound driver.
Police say the officers stopped the suspect vehicle near Line 5 and were led to beginning an impaired driving investigation.
The 42-year-old driver from Oakville was charged with operation while impaired by alcohol and refusing to comply with a demand.
The driver's licence was suspended for 90 days, and their vehicle was impounded for seven days.
