EXCLUSIVE Gene Gallagher makes new girlfriend Nevey Maya the guest of honour on father Liam's Oasis reunion tour
Liam Gallagher 's son Gene has made his new girlfriend the guest of honour on his dad's comeback tour. The 23-year-old was spotted with the blonde 'mystery girl' in March at the Brit Awards. Now MailOnline can reveal she is 20-year-old student Nevey Maya. The pair have spent a summer of love together, travelling to Glastonbury, partying in Ibiza and most recently following the Oasis Live 25 gigs up and down the country. Fans say Gene and Nevey have made them nostalgic because they look just like young versions of Liam and his ex Nicole Appleton of All Saints, who is Gene's mum. The pair couldn't take their hands off each other at Oasis' opening show in Cardiff. An insider told Mailonline: 'They were walking around the VIP area in the President's Lounge at the Principality Stadium looking very loved up. 'It's obvious they adore each other and at times you had to do a double take because they look just like Gene's mum and dad. 'Gene wears shades and has the same swagger as Liam and his girlfriend looks like Nicole. They make a gorgeous couple.' Nevey has documented the couple's travels over the past two months on her Instagram account, most recently kissing while on holiday in Spain. However her choice of music playing over the pictures - Blur's Beetlebum - might not go down well with Gene's dad. Gene is thought to have been single since 2022 when he split with brunette model Amelia, who he'd been dating for two years. Gene recently confided in friends that his indie rock group, Villanelle, will be one of ten warm-up acts taking to the stage for the Oasis tour. An insider said: 'Gene is supporting Oasis. He's been telling a few people and he's really excited. Fans say Gene and Nevey have made them nostalgic because they look just like young versions of Liam and his ex Nicole Appleton of All Saints , who is Gene's mum 'He loves playing with his dad and knows it will be huge for his music career.' Villanelle are yet to be signed, although they will release their first single with an independent label in November. But Gene previously said: 'I want to be the biggest band in the world.' Singing vocals and playing lead guitar for his band, Gene has been the Wonderwall singer's warm-up act on his solo Definitely, Maybe tour this summer. But, in typical style, Liam made his son audition for the gig, telling him: 'Go on, let's see what you're made of because if you're s*** you're not playing.'

Liam Gallagher sheds bad boy vibe for quality time with mum during Oasis tour
Oasis star Liam Gallagher has been spending quality time with his mum Peggy amid his Oasis tour with Noel Gallagher Liam Gallagher has been spending much-needed time with mum Peggy during his Oasis reunion tour with brother Noel Gallagher. The 52-year-old singer was full rock and roll during the Nineties but swapped it for a more wholesome vibe with the highly anticipated reunion tour. The famous brothers made up to reform Oasis after being locked in a tense feud for 16 years, much to the delight of eager fans. The group started off their string of gigs in Cardiff before moving on to Heaton Park in Manchester. And now, they're prepping for a number of sold-out shows at Wembley Stadium in London. While on tour, Liam has been spending some quality time with his mum, Peggy, who is excited to see her sons on stage. Her other son, Paul Gallagher, will also be doing a DJ set before Oasis takes to the stage. "Liam is incredibly close to Peggy and has loved spending time with her during the tour," a source recently said to The Sun. 'She is really looking forward to seeing all three of her boys on stage at Wembley." The source went on to say Liam has been 'putting his head down' and 'focusing on the tour'. The Mirror have contacted Oasis' reps for comment. It comes after Peggy was forced to miss their gigs at Heaton Park. She previously spoken about planning to see them on the Oasis Live 25 tour and still lives in Manchester, where she brought up her three sons in Burnage. The Mirror understood that she couldn't see them at Heaton Park due issues with her health and Heaton Park being a standing venue. An Oasis source said at the time: 'Peggy is really keen to go and see Oasis again and couldn't be more proud reading about the shows in Cardiff and Manchester. "But her health comes first and Liam and Noel want her to be comfortable if she does come to see the band. She had a recent knee operation so needs a comfortable spot if she is going to go to one of the shows and be there for a few hours. 'They'll both be spending time with her whilst they are in Manchester but they'll hold off getting her to a show. 'Somewhere like Dublin or Wembley is a more likely venue where she can be treated like a queen with any food she wants and there is better access and transport options.' After the Manchester gigs, the band will play Wembley as well as dates in Edinburgh and Croke Park in Dublin. The band will then embark on a world tour.

Liam Gallagher's secret 'health kick' drink fuelling his incredible sounding voice for Oasis tour
Oasis fans say it's the best Liam's voice has sounded since the nineties as the Gallagher brothers are currently performing across the UK on their reunion tour. Liam Gallagher has been making sure to regularly drink one liquid to keep his voice in check while performing on the Oasis Live 25' reunion tour. The 52-year-old, who used to be a heavy boozer on tour, emerged on stage during one of the band's Heaton Park gigs in Manchester at the weekend holding a glass of apple cider vinegar tea. Fans have been praising Liam's vocals since the tour kicked off in Cardiff on July 4, with some saying it is the best he's sounded since the nineties. Gallagher has previously spoken about drinking the vinegar concoction, which is mixed with honey, to help his voice, The Sun reports. He said: "I drink a lot of funky drinks. I have this apple cider vinegar, the one that everyone bangs on about. Apparently, it's great for everything. Mam has it for arthritis and it's really good for her. "So I have vinegar, some honey and then I have some turmeric, some cayenne pepper, a squirt of lemon, hot water, stir it round and drink it. "It's really good for when you get a hoarse voice. I've got a thyroid problem - Hashimoto's disease - so I can get a really hoarse voice. "It makes you tired and your bones are creaky, but you have this drink and it makes you a bit Jumping Jack Flash." He continued: "It's very f*****g boring, it doesn't get you pissed, but you can have other stuff as well." Join the Daily Record WhatsApp community! Liam Gallagher has previously opened up about his autoimmune condition, saying he is now on a 'health kick' to 'undo years of partying' in Oasis. Liam and older brother Noel reunited on stage for the first time in fifteen years earlier this month when they kicked off their Oasis Live 25 tour at Cardiff's Principality Stadium. The pair have played a total of five dates on their UK tour so far, with their final two nights at Heaton Park coming this weekend on Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 of July after five shows in their home city of Manchester. The Gallagher brothers next stop on their tour after Heaton Park is London's Wembley Stadium where they will play another five shows on July 25, 26 and 30 and August 2 and 3. After that, Scotland will finally get their turn with just three weeks to go until Oasis grace Murrayfield stage in Edinburgh for the first time since 2009. Oasis will play three nights in the Capital on Friday August 8, Saturday August 9 and Tuesday August 12. Dublin's Croke part will be their final stop on their UK tour on August 16 and August 17 before Liam and Noel jet off to Canada for their North American leg of the tour.

Oasis back at Heaton Park this week on tour but one important person will be missing
Liam and Noel Gallagher are loving playing in Heaton Park in Manchester but someone they would love to have alongside them is waiting for later tour dates Peggy Gallagher is set to miss Oasis homecoming Manchester gigs at Heaton Park. The 92-year-old mum of Noel and Liam Gallagher is thrilled her sons have patched up their differences and reunited the band. She has spoken about planning to see them on the Oasis Live 25 tour too and still lives in Manchester, where she brought up her three sons in Burnage. But the Mirror understands Peggy will be forced to wait to see them later on the tour, in a box or with seating and easier access to get to and from the show due to issues with her health. Heaton Park is a standing only venue with even the VIP area consisting of a viewing balcony area when guests like Pep Guardiola stand. An Oasis source said: 'Peggy is really keen to go and see Oasis again and couldn't be more proud reading about the shows in Cardiff and Manchester. But her health comes first and Liam and Noel want her to be comfortable if she does come to see the band. She had a recent knee operation so needs a comfortable spot if she is going to go to one of the shows and be there for a few hours. 'They'll both be spending time with her whilst they are in Manchester but they'll hold off getting her to a show. 'Somewhere like Dublin or Wembley is a more likely venue where she can be treated like a queen with any food she wants and there is better access and transport options.' Oasis have made a triumphant return to Manchester playing two shows at the weekend with a third gig tonight/last night(Weds) before two more shows at the weekend. After that the band play Wembley as well as dates in Edinburgh and Croke Park in Dublin. The band will then embark on a world tour. Ahead of their third Manchester show huge steel fences were erected around an area of Manchester's Heaton Park to stop ticketless Oasis fans from watching. Previously fans had gathered in an area dubbed 'Gallagher Hill' to watch the video screens and hear the music from afar. But Manchester City Council has urged ticketless Oasis fans not to travel to Heaton Park, after crowds previously gathered to get a glimpse of the big screens on an area that has been dubbed "Gallagher Hill". The Council said: "With three concerts still to be played by Oasis in Manchester's Heaton Park following their two hugely successful concerts at the weekend, the city council is repeating its request for fans without tickets not to travel to the park. "After taking stock of how the first two nights went, additional measures have now been deemed necessary and will be in place for the next three concerts, to protect the environment of the park, ensure areas of parkland and nearby livestock are protected, and maintain public safety. Oasis: What's Their Story? An unofficial celebration magazine on sale now! A few simple words on social media on August 27 in 2024 were enough to spark pandemonium among Oasis fans and were the catalyst for the most eagerly awaited UK gigs of all time. This special unofficial magazine, available to order here, marks the reunion and honours the band both now and down the years with our incredible archive of photos and interviews - and with exclusive reviews and photographs of their first show! "These include the erection of steel fencing around a large area of the hill within the cattle field in the main park - which is currently being developed as a new woodland area for the park and has been recently planted with around 300 young whips including Hornbeam, Field Maple, Aspen, Downy birch, Rowan, Common Alder, Crab apple and more - as well as measures to protect the livestock in the field, which include expectant and nursing cows and a bull. "The erection of the fencing has a dual purpose - both to protect the environment from further damage and to dissuade people from gathering there. The necessary measure means the concert will no longer be visible from this area.'
