Gardaí launch urgent search appeal for teenager missing for nearly a week
Gardaí have launched an urgent search appeal for a teenager who has been missing from Dublin for almost a week, as concern grows for his wellbeing. Omar Khalil, aged 16, has been missing from Dalkey, Co. Dublin since Friday, June 20. Omar is described as being approximately six feet in height, has a strong build, with brown hair and brown eyes. When last seen, Omar was wearing a black and blue jacket, black trousers and black trainers. Gardaí are concerned for his wellbeing and have appealed for anyone with any information on his whereabouts to come forward. A Garda spokesperson said: 'Gardaí are seeking the public's assistance in tracing the whereabouts of 16-year-old Omar Khalil who is reported missing from Dalkey, Co. Dublin since Friday, 20 June.' They added: 'Anyone with any information on Omar 's whereabouts is asked to contact Dún Laoghaire Garda station on (01) 666 5000, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda station.'
