BLACKPINK's Rose Scores 3rd On Pop Airplay Hit After APT And Toxic Till The End

Rose's new song On My Mind with Alex Warren has debuted at No. 36 on the Pop Airplay chart. BLACKPINK's Rose has been achieving one milestone after another in her solo career. The talented South Korean singer, who had never scored a hit on top 40 radio stations in the United States on her own, changed that with her latest track. While she had earlier appeared on the Pop Airplay tally, one of Billboard's three pop radio charts, with her band, Rose's singles never made it to those charts. But that changed in a big way for her. In less than a year, Rose earned her third solo hit on the Pop Airplay chart after Apt. and Toxic Till the End. All thanks to her new track, On My Mind, with the rising pop artist Alex Warren, that made the feat possible. The duet debuted at No. 36 on the tally. With this win, Rose is among the top contenders to become the most successful K-pop artist in the history of pop radio in America. Rose first made it into the Pop Airplay chart in the US as a solo artist in November 2024 after she released her smash hit Apt., collaborating with Bruno Mars. That track, a part of her first studio album, Rosie, was a major success. It reached No. 1 and stayed there for five consecutive weeks. Apt. is still the only K-pop solo song to have topped the chart. In January 2025, Rose once again returned to the tally with her track Toxic Till the End, another song from her first solo album. It reached no. 23 on the chart. As reported by Forbes, Rose has tied with her BLACKPINK bandmate Jennie. They both now have the third-most pop radio hits among K-pop soloists in the US. Ahead of them is BTS' Jungkook, with six wins, and their groupmate Lisa, who has scored five wins on the list. Rose's third hit On My Mind moves her ahead of stars like BTS' Jimin. Among all K-pop artists, including groups and soloists, she stands in the fourth position. She shares it not only with Jennie but also with the K-pop boy band Monsta X. At the top position on the chart is the K-pop supergroup BTS. They have earned nine hits on the Pop Airplay chart. First Published: Disclaimer: Comments reflect users' views, not News18's. BLACKPINK's Rosé beats Lisa on Billboard chart, becomes highest-debuting female K-pop soloist with On My Mind

BLACKPINK's Rosé has set a new milestone in her solo career. Her latest collaboration with American singer-songwriter Alex Warren, titled On My Mind, has stormed the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The track debuted at No. 60 on the chart, according to data revealed on July 9, 2025. It now holds the record for the highest debut by a K-pop female soloist on the Billboard Hot 100 in 2025. Notably, it overtakes fellow member Lisa 's Born Again, which had earlier entered at No. 68. A new peak in Rosé's Billboard journey On My Mind is not only the top debut by a K-pop female soloist this year. The song is also now the second-highest-debuting song by a K-pop female soloist in Hot 100 history. It trails only Rosé's own track APT. The feat continues Rosé's impressive streak as a solo artist. This achievement reaffirms her global popularity outside of BLACKPINK's group activities. On My Mind was officially released on June 27, 2025, at 1 p.m. KST. The emotional pop track brings together Alex Warren's heartfelt storytelling with Rosé's signature vocal tone. The result is a compelling and catchy duet. The collaboration was highly anticipated by both fandoms, and the response has been overwhelmingly positive. Meanwhile, fans have taken to social media to celebrate Rosé's latest achievement. They praise her ability to consistently push boundaries as both a K-pop idol and global pop artist. While Rosé shines on the solo front, BLACKPINK as a group has also returned to the spotlight. On July 11, the group dropped their long-awaited comeback single, JUMP, along with its high-energy music video. It marked the end of a three-year hiatus from official group promotions. Earlier, on July 5, the quartet reunited on stage to kick off their DEADLINE World Tour in Goyang, South Korea. The tour marks BLACKPINK's full-scale return to live performances. It will continue across North America, Europe, and Asia through early 2026. With Rosé breaking chart records and BLACKPINK launching a major world tour and new music, the group is clearly entering a powerful new era.

Rosé Returns To The Hot 100 And Passes BTS Star Jin In The Process

Rosé earns her fourth solo Hot 100 hit with 'On My Mind' alongside Alex Warren, which this week ... More debuts at No. 60. She passes Jin as she returns to the tally. (Photo by River Callaway/WWD via Getty Images) WWD via Getty Images Rosé has maintained a constant presence on the Hot 100 for months now, thanks to her Bruno Mars collaboration "Apt." That tune has turned out to be one of the most successful songs in American history by a K-pop musician, and it's still performing very well to this day, long after it peaked in historic positions. As it nears a year on the competitive tally, "Apt." lives inside the top 40 on the Hot 100. Meanwhile, Rosé's new duet with rising star Alex Warren, "On My Mind," arrives on that main chart, as well as a variety of other Billboard rankings. Its debut helps Rosé advance again on the list of the most successful K-pop acts in the United States. "On My Mind" opens at No. 60 on the Hot 100 this week, giving Rosé her fourth solo win on the list of the most popular tracks in America. While it's the newer of the two, "On My Mind" comes in dozens of spaces behind "Apt.," which manages to lift this frame, moving up one spot to No. 27. With her fourth career hit on the Hot 100, Rosé breaks out of her tie with BTS star Jin. Both acts had recently claimed a trio of successes, but now Rosé has pulled ahead and tied with another member of the same group. Suga, who also releases music under the name Agust D, has also accrued four placements on the Hot 100 aside from his work with BTS. Now, they're matched for the eighth-most hits among K-pop solo stars on the all-encompassing chart. Looking only at soloists from the K-pop space, J-Hope continues to lead the charge with eight Hot 100 smashes — twice as many as Rosé has now earned. In between the BTS rapper and Rosé and Suga are Jung Kook (with seven Hot 100 appearances), Jimin, Jennie, V and Lisa (six each) and Psy (five). Radio Airplay Fuels Rosé and Warren's New Duet "On My Mind" reaches the Hot 100 thanks to a mix of streams, sales, and attention at radio, though the track doesn't manage to debut on either the Digital Song Sales or Streaming Songs rankings. The collaboration does launch inside the top 40 on both the Adult Pop Airplay and Pop Airplay charts, as it seems that spins across a variety of pop radio formats are largely to thank for Rosé and Warren reaching the Hot 100.
