The BOYZ Embrace Their Villain Era with Stunning 'Flow' Concept Photos
The first concept of the group THE BOYZ's new album has been unveiled. Their agency One Hundred revealed the first concept image of THE BOYZ's 10th mini album 'a;effect', the 'Flow' version, through their official SNS at midnight today (the 16th) THE BOYZ literally said "cute concept who?" and decided to destroy us all with their new 'Flow' concept photos. These aren't the fresh-faced boys we fell in love with - this is their full villain era, and honestly, we're not mad about it. Picture this: dimly lit underground spaces, vintage cars that look like they belong in a movie, and the members looking like they run some exclusive underground club. It's giving major "don't mess with us" energy, and the way they're casually leaning against those industrial structures? Chef's kiss. The whole vibe screams confidence and rebellion - like they're saying "we've grown up, and we're not asking for permission anymore. " The contrast is insane. One day they're your adorable oppas, and the next they're serving looks that could literally end careers. Why This Transformation Hits So Hard The "Flow" concept isn't just about looking cool - it's about that natural progression we all go through. That moment when you stop trying to please everyone and start living for yourself. When you realize that being a little mysterious, a little untouchable, isn't necessarily a bad thing. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Birla Evara 3 and 4 BHK from ₹ 1.75 Crore* Birla Estates Learn More Undo For our generation, constantly caught between adulting and still wanting to feel young and free, this concept is like visual therapy. Police Drop Former THE BOYZ Member Ju Haknyeon's Prostitution Case Over Insufficient Evidence
After a turbulent two weeks following his shocking removal from his group THE BOYZ (더보이즈), K-pop idol Ju Haknyeon (주학년) finally has an answer to his prostitution charges. Earlier this week, reports revealed that the police will not move forward with the singer's case. According to reports dated 2nd July 2025 (Wednesday), the Seoul Gangnam Police Station has officially decided not to charge Ju Haknyeon with violating the Act on the Punishment of Arrangement of Commercial Sex Acts, etc. The singer faced investigations for allegedly soliciting prostitution following rumours that he had paid Japanese influencer Asuka Kirara (明日花キララ) for sex. The investigation followed a complaint made on 19th June 2025 (Thursday) from an unnamed individual. However, the police ultimately determined that the individual who filed the complaint had not provided sufficient concrete evidence to warrant an investigation against Ju Haknyeon. Authorities further noted that the complaint was based solely on internet articles. The accuser commented on this decision, saying, 'There have been several cases where agencies launched formal investigations based on media reports…It's a shame that the police dismissed this case because of insufficient evidence.' Following the news, Ju Haknyeon shared another update relating to his case. Through his Instagram Stories, the singer posted the complaint he filed against the TenAsia reporter who first published the prostitution allegations. The 26-year-old also captioned the post, calling out the reporter, 'An article of lies that tried to destroy my life. Just why did you do that? Let the court reveal the truth.' Fans and netizens have reacted to the news, supporting Ju Haknyeon's action against the reporter. However, some also brought up the singer's removal from his group and agency, One Hundred. Many criticised the agency's rash decision to kick Ju Haknyeon out of THE BOYZ and the company, given the lack of evidence of his prostitution accusations. Some also expressed suspicion towards One Hundred, suggesting the singer's removal was a cover-up. Asuka Kirara also recently spoke out on the issue, publicly denying the allegations. With this, fans are hoping that Ju Haknyeon will be able to clear his name. Meanwhile, THE BOYZ will embark on a world tour later this year, marking their return with nine members. The Boyz to launch international tour in August: report
The Boyz will be hosting a concert in Seoul in August, according to a local media report on Thursday. The concert will be held in the second week of the month and will mark the beginning of the group's fourth overseas tour, the report added. The 11-member team enjoyed success with its third studio album, 'Unexpected,' which sold over 740,000 copies in the first week, the most for the 8-year-old band. The tour, however, will feature only nine members. The oldest member, Sangyeon, is completing his mandatory military service, and Ju Haknyeon was expelled earlier this month. Ju admitted to and apologized for his private encounter with former adult movie actor Asuka Kirara, but denied allegations that he had solicited prostitution from her. He plans to take legal action against agency One Hundred and the media outlet.

Singer Ju Haknyeon Claims Former Agency One Hundred Forced Him To Leave THE BOYZ
It looks like former THE BOYZ (더보이즈) member Ju Haknyeon (주학년) is standing his ground against the recent allegations made towards him. The K-pop idol will also take action against several parties, including his former label, One Hundred. Last week, the idol faced rumours of engaging in prostitution after being spotted drinking with Japanese influencer Asuka Kirara. In response to the allegations, Ju Haknyeon's now-former label, One Hundred, announced the termination of his exclusive contract and his departure from THE BOYZ. Ju Haknyeon would later share a brief statement denying the prostitution allegations. However, over the weekend, the 26-year-old shockingly announced his decision to take legal action against One Hundred for unlawful termination. In his statement, Ju Haknyeon claimed that the agency had forced him to sign a termination agreement and demanded over KEW 2 billion (approximately RM6.1 million) in damages. After refusing the demands, One Hundred announced the singer's departure from his group and the label. One Hundred denied Ju Haknyeon's claims, even mentioning a specific reason for terminating his exclusive contract. Following this, Japanese news outlet Shukan Bunshun released alleged photos of the idol and Asuka. Korean news outlet Dispatch also released its own exposé, alleging that Ju Haknyeon spent the night with Asuka and bragged about it to his groupmates. The exposé also claimed that the vocalist had agreed to leave the group but changed his mind. Following these allegations, Ju Haknyeon released another statement to reinstate his innocence. In the new statement, the idol also alleges that someone is trying to frame him for something he didn't do, noting the suspiciously 'planned' revelations from news outlets. Additionally, Ju Haknyeon is taking legal action against news outlets for defamation. He said he would continue fighting to reveal the truth and clear his name. The public's reaction to the situation remains mixed. However, fans continue supporting Ju Haknyeon, hoping he can clear his name. We also hope that justice will prevail and the truth will reveal itself. What are your thoughts on this?
