Lovato, who has faced her share of struggles with mental health and body image, emphasised the importance of cooking as more than just a daily routine.
"It has allowed me to see cooking as an act of love and kindness to myself and those in my life," she noted.
The singer promised that there would be no "overwhelming" ingredients or cooking skills required to create the recipes, but rather easy-to-make dishes that "emphasise enjoyment over perfection."
The "Sorry Not Sorry" hitmaker, who recently got married to husband Jordan "Jutes" Lutes, concluded the post with a hint about new music, teasing that she has also "been cooking outside of the kitchen too."
'One Plate At A Time: Recipes for Finding Freedom with Food" will feature more than 80 recipes, including Lovato's "top five" picks, for a collection of recipes for "people who struggle to enjoy food without guilt and for anyone looking for a gentler, more grounded approach to cooking.'
