On July 20, the birthday girl shared the Instagram dump to end all IG dumps: photos from her '70s-themed bash. She went all out at the historic Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel, but it wouldn't have been a proper Gomez party without Taylor Swift on the guest list. Rumor has it, Gomez's dress code instructed guests to channel '70s disco-era fashion. Swift's blueprint, however, was the guest of honor herself. Under the green-and-gold hue of Swift's viral photo filter, the longtime friends posed together in a pool of balloons. The Grammy winner swapped '70s-inspired attire for a long-sleeve little black dress, which looked straight out of Gomez's closet. Swift's party 'fit had all the makings of a Gomez-approved mini, including a plunging V-neck, padded shoulders, and a flirty hem that stopped mid-thigh. Its bodice sported a few sequins, but no outfit shimmered as much as Gomez's disco-ready jumpsuit. While celebrating "the most beautiful year" of her life, Gomez set the retro bar in a halter-neck jumpsuit, picked by her stylist, Erin Walsh. The Nadine Merabi number was covered in silver sequins from the knotted bodice to the bell-bottom pants. Then, the "Bluest Flame" singer hid its open back with a shaggy shearling coat. New Only Murders In The Building stars will 'define' season five
Renee Zellweger, Christoph Waltz and Logan Lerman "will define" the new season of Only Murders In The Building. The trio of actors are joining the cast of the beloved Disney+ murder mystery comedy alongside returning stars like series leads Martin Short, Steve Martin and Selena Gomez, and a Disney executive has promised great things. Craig Erwich - Disney Television Group President in charge of ABC and Hulu Originals - told Deadline: "The show has reinvented itself every year with new characters and new mysteries. 'This year, it takes on a whole different side of New York City that I think people are going to really enjoy with some returning cast members, but we have some new stars too. "Among them, Logan Lerman, Renée Zellweger and [Christoph] Waltz, who kind of become the troika that I think will define this season. It's really, really funny.' On Tuesday (15.07.25), Only Murders connued its success with seven more Primetime Emmy Award nominations, including a fourth Oustanding Comedy Series nod in a row. Craig added: 'It's incredible that Only Murders has been nominated every single year since it entered the race. "Maybe we become used to it in some ways, but it should be considered a new achievement every year.' Meryl Streep will be among those returning for the fifth season, after joining in season three as struggling actress Loretta Durkin. Co-creator John Hoffman has previously spoken of his delight at watching Meryl and co-star Martin film together. He told Decider: 'You know, it is one of the most unexpected turns but I remember thinking, like, 'God.' "As I got to know Meryl, as I've known Marty and as I watched the two of them work together in season three, I just — it was unbelievable. He said: 'I remember one night we were shooting on the ferry in episode five of season three. We shot until about 2 in the morning on the most gorgeous night in Manhattan. 'Honestly, I really want to take a little break. I've been working so much,' he revealed as the reason for the delay. He added that he wants to enjoy a relaxing time with his partner. 'I just want to lie in bed and forget what day it is because we've been in bed just watching stuff. Not usually, but with Selena, I can do it all day. She makes me want to hang out and cuddle, just watch things, eat food, and have the best time ever.' But there's a good reason why: their work schedules have been nonstop since their December engagement. 'That's why we both need to chill,' Blanco explained. 'We've both been working so much. We got engaged, and then we were filming music videos for our album [I Said I Love You First]... Then it's holidays, then right after the holidays, we had to start all the promo for our stuff, do that. Then she left to film her show Only Murders [in the Building] and then I met her, then we hung out for a week, and then right after that, it's promo. And then I'm writing another book, so then I had to write a book, and then she came back for one day here. And then it was my birthday, and you know.... We're both working on so many things that we hadn't even had time to get into it, but we're so excited. I think this summer we're going to sit down and be like, 'Okay, what are we doing, hun?'' The music producer said their wedding would but 'chill' but 'lit.' He did not share anything about its date. He did, however, discuss how he just wants to relax with Gomez during his break. 'I haven't really had much time off in a while, and...I just want to lay in bed and forget what day it is because we've been in bed just watching stuff,' Blanco told Shane. He added he doesn't usually like that 'but with Selena, I can do it all day.
