Operation Sindoor 2.0? Pakistan secretly rebuilding terror infrastructure near..., India can now...
Pak PM Shehbaz Sharif Operation Sindoor 2.0: After India conducted massive attacks on Pakistan and Pakistan Occupied Kashmir in its Operation Sindoor killing more than a hundred terrorists, fresh intelligence reports are suggesting that Pakistan is secretly rebuilding its terror infrastructure using advanced and sophisticated technology. Through its new tactics, Pakistan is rebuilding with the use of encrypted communication tools, satellite phones, and drones to avoid detection. As per reconstruction plan, the new plan accommodates smaller batches of 20–30 terrorists, as opposed to the earlier practice of training 70–80 militants at once. 'ISI has chosen new terror training centres at places like Athmuqam, Sardi, Lipa, Kotli, Kahuta, Jankote and Chamankot in PoK which are surrounded by forests and small mountains and where it is easy to hide the terrorists and keep them for long time,' Deccan Herald quoted sources as saying. 'The training of fresh recruits is being supervised not just by Pakistani handlers, but also by some former terrorists from Kashmir who have now crossed over and are operating from PoJK,' the sources revealed. Special court grants NIA 10-day remand of two Pahalgam terror accused In another important event related to the Pahalgam attack, a special court of the National Investigation Agency (NIA) granted a 10-day remand of the two accused who were arrested for harbouring Pakistani terrorists behind the deadly Pahalgam terror attack in April, officials said. A local court had earlier granted the NIA a five-day remand of the two accused on Monday, which expired on Friday. The NIA produced the duo before the special NIA court, which granted a further 10-day remand, they said. The two men — Parvaiz Ahmad Jothar of Batkote, Pahalgam; and Bashir Ahmad Jothar of Hill Park, Pahalgam — were arrested by the NIA on Sunday in the first major breakthrough in the investigation into the April 22 attack that left 26 people, mostly tourists, dead and 16 others injured. Operation Sindoor: BJD's Amar Patnaik hails armed forces, says strong message sent to Pakistan
Bhubaneswar (Odisha) [India], May 13 (ANI): Reacting to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's address to the nation on the aftermath of Operation Sindoor, BJD leader Amar Patnaik praised the courage of the Indian armed forces and said they have sent a clear message to Pakistan. 'We really salute the bravery and valour of our armed forces. Not only have they destroyed the terror infrastructure, they have also given a very strong message to the sponsor of terrorism, that is the state of Pakistan,' Patnaik said. He added that since Operation Sindoor is still ongoing, it is clear that a powerful message has been sent to both Pakistan and the terrorists. 'A strong message has been given to Pakistan and the terror infrastructure sponsored by them, as also to the terrorists, that wherever they are inside Pakistan, India is in a position to hit them and annihilate them,' he said. He further stated, 'In the all-party meeting, the Biju Janata Dal (BJD) had already stated that they are with the government in the entire action they are proposing to take against terrorism and its sponsors. Since Operation Sindoor 2.0 is still continuing, as I understand, I think a detailed elaboration of it may not be necessary at this stage. One thing is sufficient to say: yes, indeed a very strong message has been given to Pakistan.' 'The second point which the Prime Minister made in his speech is that the threshold for attack has now come in the form of a new doctrine- that any act of terror will be considered an act of war against India. I think the message is very clear, and this message has been reiterated by the Prime Minister in today's address to the nation,' said BJD leader Amar Patnaik. In a first address to the nation since India's military retaliation 'Operation Sindoor,' PM Modi outlined three key pillars of India's security doctrine. Firstly, the 'Decisive Retaliation,' any terrorist attack on India will be met with a strong and resolute response. India will retaliate on its terms, targeting terror hubs at their roots. The second is 'No Tolerance for Nuclear Blackmail'. PM Modi said India will not be intimidated by nuclear threats. Any terrorist safe haven operating under this pretext will face precise and decisive strikes. The third pillar is 'No distinction between terror sponsors and terrorists.' PM Modi said India will no longer see terrorist leaders and the governments sheltering them as separate entities. PM pointed out that during Operation Sindoor, the world once again witnessed Pakistan's disturbing reality--senior Pakistani military officials openly attending funerals of eliminated terrorists, proving Pakistan's deep involvement in state-sponsored terrorism. The Prime Minister reaffirmed that India will continue taking decisive steps to safeguard its citizens against any threat. India effectively repelled escalation by the Pakistan military following Operation Sindoor and also pounded some airbases. (ANI)

‘State funerals to terrorists may be a practice in Pakistan': FS Misri junking ‘civilians killed' in Indian strike claim
Operation Sindoor 2.0: Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri on 8 May junked the Pakistan's claim that civilians were killed during India's Operation Sindoor citing the reported incident where designated terrorist attended the funeral of three terrorists killed in Wednesday morning strike. Mrisri held up the photo where Hafiz Abdul Rauf, a US-designated global terrorist and high-level Lashkar-e-Taiba commander, is purportedly seen leading funeral prayers for those who died in the Indian missile strikes. Misri said it was odd that the 'funerals of civilians' are carried out with the coffins being draped in Pakistani flags. 'It's also odd that funerals of civilians are being carried out with coffins wrapped in their national flag, and state honours are being accorded. The individuals eliminated at these facilities were terrorists. Giving state funerals to terrorists may be a practice in Pakistan, but it doesn't seem to make much sense to us,' he said. It's also odd that funerals of civilians are being carried out with coffins wrapped in their national flag. The funeral, held on Wednesday in Muridke — approximately 40 kilometers from Lahore — was also attended by members of Jamaat-ud-Dawah (JuD), the banned organisation led by Hafiz Saeed, according to news agency PTI. The three terrorists — Qari Abdul Malik, Khalid, and Mudassir — were killed in a targeted strike on terror group's headquarters in Muridke, carried out by Indian forces as part of 'Operation Sindoor,' according to news reports. Government of India has not officially released the names or numbers of the dead in the strike. Indian armed forces carried out precision strikes at terrorist camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the government said early Wednesday morning. In all, 9 areas have been targeted, the government said in the statement, codenaming the strike 'Operation Sindoor.' In one of the deadliest ever attacks on civilians in Jammu and Kashmir, 26 people, mostly tourists, were killed when a group of terrorists attacked Baisaran valley in South Kashmir's Pahalgam on 22 April. 'We have made the point very clearly that all attacks on the morning of May 7 were against carefully selected terrorist infrastructure, terrorist targets. In fact, seeing some of the coverage of the after effects of these strikes, including the funerals for the terrorists that are held yesterday, I think a lot of you have seen the reports and the coverage on media,' Misri said at the Thursday's presser.
