Ecosystem members will gain access to Oracle cloud technology, as well as software from hotshot AI firm (ORCL) wants to help aspiring defense contractors make deals with the Pentagon. On Tuesday, the cloud computing giant introduced the Oracle Defense Ecosystem, which it says is designed to connect technology companies with government clients to help them meet federal compliance standards. 'National security teams are often unable to access the latest cloud and AI technologies,' Oracle said, pointing to 'complex procurement processes, strict qualification standards, and the relationship networks required.' Ecosystem members will be able to work with Oracle's sales teams and utilize the company's cloud marketplace, the company said. They'll also be able to access AI software developed by Palantir (PLTR), a technology firm that has seen its stock surge this year as its government connections have expanded. Palantir's Foundry software has been integrated with at least four U.S. agencies, including the Department of Homeland Security and the Department of Health and Human Services, according to reports. Oracle's own government bona fides include its involvement in Stargate, a joint venture with OpenAI and SoftBank to build AI infrastructure in the U.S. In January, the companies said they would commit $100 billion to start, and as much as $500 billion over the next four years. Shares of Oracle traded about 2% higher shortly after the opening bell. The stock has gained nearly 30% in 2025.
