This DJI Osmo Action 4 Standard Combo Drops to Lowest Price Ever While Amazon Clears Stock

Summer holidays are nearly upon a lot of us, and whether you've got kids or you're just looking forward to a much-needed break, it's nice to make some amazing memories. Of course, it's a lot harder to actually hold onto those memories, which is where a good camera comes in really handy. Our phones are great and all, but a dedicated device is always going to be an excellent choice, especially if you're looking at more active pursuits. Thankfully, you can currently get your hands on the excellent DJI Osmo Action 4 Camera while it's down to just $209. That's a 30% discount on the standard price of $299, and a really impressive deal. It's an Amazon deal too, so a lot of people can save money on postage thanks to Prime, but it does mean we don't know when the discount will end. See at Amazon Action cameras are especially well-suited to more adventurous users for a few reasons, but it helps that it's quite literally what they're designed for. Being able to rely on your camera when you're trying to take one-off photos is a must, and that's where this style of camera really shines. The DJI Cosmo Action 4 Standard is capable of both 4K quality images and 120 frames per second, both of which are essential for ensuring that any photo or video you take will be of the quality you'll want when looking back at it as often as you want. It's also great in low-light thanks to a special sensor that makes it easy to keep things in focus at pretty much all times. It's also capable of surviving not only massive temperature fluctuations, with it being fine in -4 degree weather, perfect for snowboarding, but also with water as well. It's easy to switch between horizontal and vertical shooting, and it has three different stabilization modes to help you capture the action when it'd normally be too hard to do so. The camera feeds perfectly into the special DJI Mimo app as well, which allows it to easily update when needed, and just generally lets you get more out of the device. We think this is an excellent option, even if you're paying the standard price of $299 for it, so being able to get it for just $209 is a chance you shouldn't pass up. It's an excellent camera with plenty of features, so it's more than worth it. See at Amazon

The DJI Osmo Action 4 is unbeatable if you're on a budget — and it just hit rock bottom price for Prime Day

The Prime Day deals have arrived, and there are some fantastic deals on action cameras. My favorite is undoubtedly this deal on my top-budget action camera, the DJI Osmo Action 4, which is currently $90 off at Amazon. At $209, this is the joint cheapest I've ever seen this camera sell for in the U.S., and the price is tied with last year's Black Friday sale price. If you're in the U.K. like me, you're in for even more of a treat. The DJI Osmo Action 4 is currently £124 off at Amazon, so just £165! That's a wild price for such an incredible action camera. Brits: buy now! It probably won't get cheaper than this. This deal on the Osmo Action 4 is my top overall pick. The DJI Osmo Action 4 is my favorite budget action camera. Since the Osmo Action 5 Pro launched, DJI has reduced the cost of the older model, and it's now at its lowest price ever for Prime Day. Fantastic 4K video, great internal audio, wireless hookup to DJI mics, and a slew of pro features — all for little more than $200. This is the joint lowest price the OA4 has ever been, tied with Black Friday last year, so I doubt it will go lower in the U.S. over the event (in short, it's a good idea to buy now!) DJI has slashed the Osmo Action 4's price in the U.K. too! This is a professional action camera, so even though it isn't the latest model, it still offers a vast amount of performance for the money. If you don't want to wait, it's worth taking the plunge already. As I predicted yesterday (when the camera was £215), the U.K. price has now dropped even further to a record low. Now is the time to buy the OA4! Rumors abound that DJI will be releasing new cameras soon, which may be why we're seeing big discounts on its cameras for Prime Day. Yesterday, in my roundup of the top Prime Day action camera deals, I wrote that I expected DJI gear to start dropping a little further in the U.K. (it was at £215), but I wasn't expecting the OA4 to be discounted quite this much. £165 is, frankly, crazy money for this camera — I can't see it dropping any further and now is absolutely the time to buy if you want a new action camera! Alas, U.S. trade tariffs have affected DJI products, meaning lower levels of discount in the States, although $209 is still an incredibly good price for the OA4. You simply can't find a brand new action camera for that money with the pro features of this camera. The DJI Osmo Action 4 is my top budget pick on our list of the best action cameras you can buy, and that was before the Prime Day discount! This little camera packs 4K video, decent stabilization, great internal microphones and wireless hookups to DJI devices like the DJI Mic 2 or DJI Mic Mini. It also features a slew of professional features, including Log and HLG recording for wider dynamic range capture. It isn't as capable as the newer DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro, which features improved stabilization and battery life (and is my favorite action camera overall), but the newer model is naturally more expensive. Pound for pound (literally in the U.K.), the Osmo Action 4 was already phenomenal value for money and an ideal tool for aspiring content creators needing a professional-tier camera without breaking the bank.

Forget GoPro — my favorite budget action camera is a DJI, and it's on sale right now

I count myself as blessed: as cameras editor here at Tom's Guide, a large part of my job entails testing all of the best action cameras around. And I love action cameras. One of my absolute favorites is the DJI Osmo Action 4 (OA4), which is currently on sale for $249 at Amazon. This isn't the cheapest we've seen the OA4 go — earlier this year it dropped to just $209. With tariffs now affecting prices of tech, though, there's no guarantee we'll see those prices again. In the U.K., the Osmo Action 4 is also on sale at Amazon, reduced from £279 to £189, which is a huge discount. The OA4 currently holds my award of best budget action camera, and is a formidable professional 4K action camera with a variety of extremely powerful features. If you're looking for a tool for content creation this summer — without breaking the bank — look no further. The DJI Osmo Action 4 is my favorite budget action camera, packing 4K video at up to 120fps, professional features like Log profile recording, and easy connectivity with other DJI devices. It's currently $50 off, which isn't the cheapest we've seen it sell for, but is still a great price for such a powerful piece of kit. In the U.K., the OA4 is on a huge discount, with £90 off, putting this camera under the £200. There really is no comparison in this price band. If you're in the U.K. and looking for a budget action cam, get this deal right away. These days, there's a lot of choice in the action camera arena, with plenty of competition between DJI, GoPro and Insta360. The budget options are a little more restricted though. There are affordable 'latest model' cameras out there, such as the Akaso Brave 8 Lite, and even the GoPro Hero (2024). These cameras have big drawbacks, though, in terms of video performance, features and usability. Your best bet if looking for an action camera on a budget is to look for an older model. But old does not mean bad. The DJI Osmo Action 4 is technically an "old model", having been succeeded in 2024 by the epic DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro (which holds the top spot on our action cams roundup). But it's still a seriously good camera for even hardcore content creators. The OA4 packs 4K video at up to 120fps, as well as D-Log recording for increased dynamic range (although you'll need to grade this footage yourself in post). It has extremely good internal microphones, but can also hook up seamlessly to DJI audio devices such as the DJI Mic 2 and DJI Mic Mini — both considered among the best microphones for content creators. As I mentioned up top, this isn't the cheapest I've seen this camera sell. I'm constantly tracking the prices of cameras, so I've seen how the DJI Osmo Action 4 fluctuates in price. In last year's Black Friday events, and in sales events earlier this year, I saw the OA4 drop as low as $209 for the Standard Combo. That's $40 cheaper than the current deal price. If you wanted to wait for a sales event, there is a chance you may be able to shave more money off, however, we're only talking about $40. Those price drops during previous events were also pre-tariffs, so there's no guarantee we'll see them again. All in all, I still think $249 is a very fair price for such a strong action camera, so this deal still warrants my recommendation. In the U.K., where the Osmo Action 4 is currently on sale for just £189, it's a total no-brainer. This is a wildly cheap price for such a professional action camera. It's £10 less than the super-budget GoPro Hero (2024), and that camera isn't even in the same league as the DJI.

"The 1/1.3-inch sensor and 4K/120fps video quality deliver stunning footage… even while running along rocky trails, the footage came out smooth and professional.' However, another user flagged a major issue: 'If you are an Android user forget about buying this, Google Play have removed the app… support was terrible.' A third reviewer summed it up positively: 'Awesome little camera… the stabilisation seems to cope on the handlebar, wrist strap and helmet mounts.' Still, for its specs, value and quality, the Osmo Action 4 remains a favourite among adventurers and creators. Get this product HERE.
