Dibba Al Hisn Club blends values and sport in summer week

Under the "I am athletic" theme, the club continued its weekly programme targeting youth, promoting physical activity and healthy habits during the summer break. Reviving heritage through traditional games The club also joined the collective traditional games festival at Al Madam Club, which fostered healthy competition and revived cultural heritage, deepening national identity among participants. The day's events included engaging sports such as football, karate, swimming and stationary cycling, all met with great enthusiasm and strong interaction from participants.

Dibba Al Hisn Club: Summer of Learning and Heritage
Raising Security Awareness In cooperation with the Sharjah Police General Command (SPGC), the workshop was presented by Assistant Officer Khalifa Mohammed Tamrouq. Emirati Hospitality A distinctive heritage workshop titled "Etiquette of Pouring Coffee" was also organised, presented by Mohammed Rashoud. The workshop addressed authentic values and aspects of Emirati hospitality, a prominent feature of Emirati society. A Visit to Sharjah Classic Cars Club The Dibba Al Hisn Club's Summer Activities Department organised a unique cultural visit to the Sharjah Classic Cars Club and the Sharjah Heritage Museum. These activities embody the Dibba Al Hisn Club's commitment to integrating educational and cultural values within a purposeful entertainment framework that consolidates national identity and enhances community belonging, contributing to the development of generations aware of their history, proud of their heritage, and committed to their ethics. During the tour, participants were introduced to the treasures of Emirati heritage. At the Classic Cars Club, they viewed a rare collection of classic vehicles that embody the development of transportation in the UAE. They were also briefed on the importance of these collectibles in preserving the nation's memory and the history of its civilisation. Sharjah Heritage Museum At the Sharjah Heritage Museum, participants embarked on an interactive cultural experience, exploring traditional Emirati environments and learning about ancient customs, traditions, and everyday life, enhancing their deep understanding of national identity.

Al Hamriyah Club offers 130 summer activities

This year, the club is also using technology to enhance the experience. They will measure participants' body mass index (BMI) and track their movements during sports classes. Additionally, they will monitor the performance of both teachers and students during workshops to maintain high-quality standards . Al Shamsi highlighted that the club is fully prepared with medical equipment and first aid teams available at all times. They are also organizing educational trips in partnership with government agencies to promote a sense of belonging and appreciation for heritage among young people . Al Hamriyah urges participants of summer programme to volunteer
Coach Saba Hassan presented a session entitled "The Game of Social Roles and the Culture of Volunteering" that emphasised the significance of volunteering and helping others and characterised it as one of Emirati society's founding values. Traditional Emirati heritage was also celebrated through leisure activities, with the Sharjah Institute for Heritage presenting a session on traditional movement-based games inspired by the UAE's cultural past. The Sharjah Police Headquarters captivated the audience with a live demonstration of police dogs (K9) at the Security Inspection Department. According to Ahmed Al Shamsi, Executive Director of Al Hamriyah Club, the aims of 'Our Holiday is Different' are being realised on a daily basis, and parental surveys show high levels of satisfaction with the initiative.
