Klarisse de Guzman cast in Bar Boys: After School
Singer and Pinoy Big Brother alum Klarisse de Guzman is officially joining the cast of Bar Boys: After School, the sequel to the 2017 hit film Bar Boys. As first reported by Cinema Bravo, Klarisse will take on the role of a devoted older sister who supports her sibling through law school. Her character is described as 'hilarious, optimistic, and a hopeless romantic'—a vital part of the study group's emotional core and the number one fan of law student Josh Zuniga, portrayed by Kian Cipriano. She reunites with fellow PBB Collab housemate Will Ashley, who is also part of the new cast. Returning actors Rocco Nacino, Carlo Aquino, and Enzo Pineda will reprise their original roles while new faces like Sassa Gurl, Therese Malvar, and Glaiza De Castro join the ensemble. Director Kip Oebanda teased the film's storyline in a March 2 post, revealing that the sequel centers on a law school barkada's 10-year reunion. The group reconnects after learning that a beloved professor is gravely ill and estranged from his family. As they step in to care for him, the friends are reminded of the deeper lessons life has to offer. Originally released in 2017, Bar Boys followed four friends navigating the trials of law school. Prior to joining the famous reality show, Klarisse made her mark in the music scene, finishing as runner-up in the first season of The Voice of the Philippines in 2013, and later winning Your Face Sounds Familiar Season 3 in 2021.

Did Klarisse De Guzman get upset at River Joseph for nominating her? Ex-housemate answers
Klarisse De Guzman and her duo Shuvee Etrata's (ShuKla) eviction from "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition," was perhaps one of the most surprising moments of this season. The duo received the lowest percentage of votes to save—31.50%—falling just 0.17% short of AZ Martinez and River Joseph's (AzVer) 31.67%. ShuKla was nominated by AzVer for three points, with River citing their past misunderstandings and AZ pointing to Shuvee's comments about the outside world. Now that the season has ended, Klarisse addressed in a vlog with Vice Ganda whether she ever got upset with River for nominating her. "Hindi naman [ako na-off]. Kasi lahat naman kami meme, boboto," Klarisse said. Vice also asked Klarisse if she also got upset on River's reason for nominating their duo. "Siguro 'yung ano lang, parang nung nalaman ko, kasi may pointers kami. Isa din naman 'yung sinabi ko sa house, nung nag-house challenger kami, 'yung parang ako 'yung laging niyang ninominate," she answered. Sean Lucas surprises Esnyr, Charlie Fleming on 'Unang Hirit'
Esnyr and Charlie Fleming were in for a surprise on 'Unang Hirit!' During their gusting on the morning show on Thursday, the hosts showed a "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition" clip of Esnyr saying he has a crush on Sparkle artist and friend, Sean Lucas. Following this, Sean surprised CharEs with bouquets, singing 'Binibining Marikit.' Esnyr shared that he and Sean worked together on an independent film before signing with Sparkle and Star Magic. 'Mga simpleng bata lang kami noon,' Esnyr said. Asked how he feels about reuniting with his crush Sean, Esnyr said, 'Pumila ka nalang sa likod ah. Sobrang dami na nila eh.' Sean then said that Esnyr has been 'super supportive ever since when we were starting dun sa project na 'yun.' He added, 'And ang saya lang tingnan na tumatambay lang kami sa bahay dati and then nakita ko siya and ito na. Nakaka-proud.' Sean also hosted a game show for Esnyr and Charlie about trending memes, which Charlie won. Charlie and Esnyr were the third big placers of 'Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition.' 'Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition' is getting a second season!
It's not the last you'll see of "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition!" On the Big Night on Saturday, it was announced that the historic GMA and ABS-CBN collaboration reality TV show is getting a second edition. "Pinaghahandaan na ni Kuya ang susunod na PBB Collab this year," host Bianca Gonzales announced after awarding the big winners of the season. And that's not all — the housemates of 'Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition' will reunite for an upcoming fan con event! Hosts Gabbi Garcia and Kim Chiu announced that the event titled 'The Big ColLOVE' is happening on August 10, 8 p.m., at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. More details, including ticket prices, will be revealed soon. Mika Salamanca and Brent Manalo emerged as the big winner of "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition," the first duo to share the title in the show's history.
