Jammu: The Enforcement Directorate has attached immovable property worth Rs 15.78 crore in Jammu and Kashmir's Patnitop hill station linked to a case under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) 2002, an official said on Saturday. 'Directorate of Enforcement (ED), Jammu Sub Zonal Office has provisionally attached several immovable properties worth Rs 15.78 crore (approx.) on June 27, 2025, in the case of Patni Top Development Authority (PDA) under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), 2002. Etawah Kathavachak case: PDA stands with every victim, assures Akhilesh
In an oblique reference to the Etawah protest on Friday, but without naming an incident, Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav accused the Bharatiya Janata Party of bringing people from neighbouring states and misusing the 'surname' of their own planted people to create a divide in society. Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav (HT File Photo) The SP chief also claimed that the entire PDA society was standing with every victim of the 'Etawah Kathavachak PDA Insult Case'. Speaking to the media at a private function in Lucknow on Friday, the SP chief said, 'Each and every child knows the truth of the 'Ghuspaithia (infiltrator) politics' that BJP is doing in the state by bringing people from neighbouring states and misusing the surname of its own 'planted people'. People of UP will not be divided by the mistakes of some negative people, but will become even stronger.' Taking a dig at UP and central governments, the SP chief said, 'Today is there not even one BJP member in UP on whom the people of Delhi can trust? Perhaps this is the case, that is why they are bringing people from outside and hatching a new conspiracy. The truth is that this is a challenge for the people of Lucknow that people are repeatedly coming in from across the border of UP to destabilise UP and are going back comfortably after disturbing the peace of the state. Will the BJP government of UP now open the borders of its state for any anarchist element? If this is so, then the BJP government of UP should openly declare it or send its police to arrest those anarchist elements.' 'If this does not happen, then tomorrow more such people will come and defy the BJP government of UP and the people of UP will accept that the BJP government has become an ineffective government in UP, it has neither any leadership nor any commitment to the law and order of UP or even peace,' said Akhilesh. Speaking on the Etawah incident, he said, 'A few dominant people did not even spare the artiste. By snatching his dholak and accusing him, such negative people have lost the sympathy of their own society. The true worshippers of our country's culture are always kind and full of compassion, those who do this are un-Indian and inhuman people who are rejected on human standards. Today the entire PDA society is raising its voice with every victim of the 'Etawah Kathavachan PDA Insult Case'. 'PDA' is a new echo of the new drum against oppression.' 'PDA is a collective, social, community declaration of new consciousness and unity among the traditionally neglected and oppressed people who have suffered the triple curse of 'pain, sorrow and humiliation'. PDA is not a call for revenge but for change in thinking. PDA is a determined declaration of positive-progressive 'rule of social justice' that removes inequality and ensures equality, parity, dignity and prestige,' said the SP chief.

Anna Camp, 42, and girlfriend Jade Whipkey, 24, kiss like lovestruck teens... after defending 18-year age gap
Anna Camp, 42, and her new girlfriend Jade Whipkey, 24, didn't let the commotion of an airport stop them from packing on the PDA. The actress, who recently defended their 18-year age gap, shared a sweet kiss with her new girlfriend as they prepared to jet out of Los Angeles on Wednesday. Despite the hoopla around them, the couple were able to make one another smile as they got through what is normally a traveling headache. Jade lovingly placed her hands along Anna's shoulder as she pressed her lips against hers. And it appears they may be embarking on quite the trip, by the looks of the amount of luggage they brought. Anna and Jade wheeled large suitcases into the terminal, and Anna even had a second duffle looped onto her arm. The Pitch Perfect star wore a graphic print tank top, a flowing leopard skirt, and accessories that included sunglasses and chunky jewelry. Jade also kept it casual for their journey with baggy jeans, an oversize T-shirt, and New York Yankees hat. The trip comes shortly after Anna defended their May-December relationship. The actress is 18 years older than Whipkey, but she says the stylist is 'far more mature than any' man she's dated. Camp clapped back at critics under an Instagram post from LGBTQ+ outlet PinkNews about their recent red carpet debut, writing, 'Thought I'd jump on here since I follow @pinknews and just say I've dated men exactly my age and Jade is FAR more mature than any of them.' She emphasized their compatibility as she continued, 'We have more in common than anyone else I've ever dated and can literally talk about anything and everything ♥️ 'Everyone is entitled to their opinion, and I'm wishing everyone well :) Especially this Pride month.' The lovebirds were first linked in May when Camp reposted an image originally uploaded on Whipke's Instagram account. The snap showed the True Blood star sitting at a restaurant with the text: 'Her smile is a poem, her eyes are roses, her laugh is music for dancing.' Camp reshared the picture to her Instagram Stories, tagging Jade, adding a fiery red heart emoji, and confirming their relationship. And on June 10, Whipkey celebrated Camp's Palm Springs Life magazine cover as she shared images of them cozied up at the launch party. The caption read, 'You are the easiest person to celebrate and the sweetest to love ❤️. See you on the cover of @voguemagazine next.' The last image in the carousel post was a photo of Jade wearing a tour T-shirt with several photos of her girlfriend splashed across it. Anna also recently took to her Instagram Story to gush about her girlfriend while sharing a photo from their red carpet appearance. 'When her eyes match your dress,' she wrote, adding a pink heart emoji with an arrow going through it. Shortly after going public with their relationship in May, the pair was spotted sharing a kiss during a Los Angeles outing. And in February Camp and Whipkey made an appearance in a TikTok video for recalling some of the worst dates they've had. Camp was previously married to Michael Mosley from 2010 through 2013. She also tied the knot with Skylar Astin in 2016; their divorce was finalized three years later.

Etawah tonsuring incident: FIR filed against 2 kathavachaks, protesters clash with police, attack vehicles
The controversy over tonsuring of the head of two kathavachaks (religious speakers) belonging to the Yadav community by upper-caste men in Uttar Pradesh's Etawah district snowballed into violence on Thursday when a large number of people protesting against the registration of an FIR against the duo allegedly pelted the police with stones and attacked their vehicles, officials said. The clash occurred when the protesters were trying to enter Dadarpur village in Mahewa block where the purported tonsuring incident took place on June 21, it is learnt. The FIR against the two was registered earlier in the day on the charges of 'fraud' for hiding their caste and identifying themselves as Brahmin. Later, the police arrested at least 19 people allegedly involved in the clash. Meanwhile, Tourism Minister Jaiveer Singh claimed that the incident was a fallout of provocative statements by Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav even as Yadav and his party leaders continued to allege that PDA (Pichhde, Dalit and Alpsankhyak) were being targeted in the state. The minister said, 'Police have been deployed in the area and the law and order has been ensured. Ninteen rioters have been identified and arrested. The government strongly believes that those who take law and order in their hands and spread anarchy would not be spared at any cost. They might be of any caste, sect or religion. Those who indulge in crime, their caste is crime only.' 'Only criminals have been arrested and it has nothing to do with any caste,' he added. 'The incident took place after Akhilesh Yadav ji constantly tried to give it a caste angle. He made baseless allegations against the Brahmin community and misled people. He and his party have always tried to create a divide based on caste while the BJP always tries to provide justice to all no matter which caste they belong to. Even police vehicles were attacked,' Singh said. Etawah SSP Brijesh Srivastava said, 'We came to know through social media in the morning that some organisations were gathering in the Bakewar police station area to protest against an incident that took place three days back. We deployed police force at Dadarpur village to prevent any untoward incident. Around 1:30pm, a large number of people gathered on the road, and many were dispersed. But nearly 70-80 people tried to enter Dadarpur village despite being warned by the police, leading to a law and order situation. Nineteen people have been arrested, while 13 vehicles have been seized.' A video had gone viral on social media a few days ago, wherein a group of upper-caste men were seen tonsuring the head of the two kathavachaks — Mukut Mani Yadav and Sant Singh Yadav. Taking cognisance of the video, the police had arrested four persons involved in tonsuring the head of the two.
