Katy Perry shares her 'mood' in first post after her split from Orlando Bloom

Washington DC [US], June 28 (ANI): Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom have called off their relationship. American singer-songwriter has shared her first social media post since the news of her split from Orlando Bloom emerged, reported People. A source confirmed to PEOPLE that the couple, who got engaged in 2019, have decided to part ways. Sharing her "mood," the singer, 40, posted a carousel of photos on Instagram from her day at Rottnest Island in Australia on Friday, June 27. Her visit to the nature reserve came a day after a source confirmed to People that the longtime couple had called off their nearly 6-year engagement. Among the collection of photos shared was Perry posing alongside a quokka before later spotting a chocolate version of the animal in a shop. She also shared a video of herself being surrounded by birds on the beach and embracing "brain rot" with her team while on a boat. Perry appeared in good spirits in all of the photos and clips taken just hours before she was set to perform in Adelaide as part of the sold-out Australia leg of her Lifetimes tour. "mood: Quokka," the "Hot N Cold" musician captioned the post. According to National Geographic, the "teddy bear-sized marsupial" is only found in southwestern Australia and is considered the "happiest animal in the world." Perry's reference to feeling like a quokka comes after it was confirmed that she and Bloom, 48, are going their separate ways after nine years together, reported People. On Thursday, June 26, a source told People, "They're pretty much done," adding that they "don't really see them being able to turn things around here." The pair, who met at a Golden Globes afterparty in 2016, got engaged in 2019 and welcomed their daughter Daisy Dove on Aug. 26, 2020. Bloom is also a father to son Flynn Bloom, 14, whom he shares with his ex-wife, Miranda Kerr, reported People. While Perry has been in Australia for her tour, Bloom has been in Venice for Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez's lavish wedding festivities. The actor has been spotted hanging out with Tom Brady, attorney, Alex Spiro and Kris Jenner's boyfriend, Corey Gamble, along with Kris, 69, and her daughters Kim and Khloe Kardashian, reported People. The Amazon founder, 61, and the Emmy-winning journalist, 55, tied the knot in a black-tie ceremony on the island of San Giorgio Maggiore in Venice, Italy, on Friday, June 27. The couple celebrated their Italian nuptials over several days, welcoming a number of their celebrity friends for the lavish festivities in the Floating City, including Oprah Winfrey, Gayle King, Orlando Bloom, Kim Kardashian, Khloé Kardashian, Kris Jenner, Kylie Jenner, Karlie Kloss, Leonardo DiCaprio, Usher and Tom Brady. Other notable guests included Queen Rania of Jordan, Bill Gates and his girlfriend, Paula Hurd, François-Henri Pinault, and fashion designers Diane von Fürstenberg, Domenico Dolce and Tommy Hilfiger. A source tells PEOPLE the couple's wedding ceremony kicked off with a performance of 'Can't Help Falling in Love' by Elvis Presley, sung by Matteo Bocelli to cheers from the guests. Ahead of the ceremony, Bezos and Sánchez were photographed leaving the Aman Hotel separately, presumably headed for their wedding venue. The bride wore a retro-inspired, all-white suit and silk head scarf, while the groom sported a sleek black tuxedo and aviator-style shades. Ahead of their wedding celebrations, the bride and groom were photographed arriving in Venice via helicopter on Wednesday, June 25, smiling as they walked hand-in-hand. They later hosted a welcome party for their guests on Thursday night, June 26, at a closed cloister adjacent to the Madonna dell'Orto church. A source told PEOPLE that the party-goers dined on pizza cooked onsite by a famous Neapolitan chef, along with fried zucchini flowers, arancini, octopus and cod. Dessert included pastries and lemon cakes. The couple had planned to hold their wedding ceremony on Saturday, June 28, at Scuola Grande della Misericordia, but made a last-minute location change due to security concerns amid ongoing local protests over the wedding. To show their appreciation to Venice for hosting them and their guests, Bezos and Sánchez made a point of spotlighting the city's rich artisanal history during their wedding festivities. They sourced about 80% of their provisions from Venetian vendors, among them pastry shop Rosa Salva and glass design studio Laguna B, a source told The Associated Press. In addition, the couple asked their guests to make financial donations to the city of Venice instead of giving them wedding gifts. On their wedding invitation, they listed three Venetian charities they planned to donate the contributions to: the UNESCO Venice Office, CORILA and Venice International University. They also shared on the invitation why Venice holds such a special place in their hearts. "This magical place has gifted us unforgettable memories," they wrote. "Our hope is that through these efforts and by you joining us, Venice will continue to inspire wonder for generations to come." "We are definitely happy to have this funding for the protection of our very delicate city," Sebastiano Costalonga, local city councillor for commerce and productive activities of the municipality of Venice, told PEOPLE ahead of the wedding. News of Bezos and Sánchez's relationship first broke in January 2019, around the same time that the Blue Origin founder announced his divorce from MacKenzie Scott after 25 years of marriage. At the time, Sánchez was divorcing her husband of 13 years, Patrick Whitesell. While it's unclear when and how Bezos and Sánchez first met, sources previously told PEOPLE that the pair struck up a working relationship while teaming up on several projects and "gradually" developed romantic feelings for each other. Sánchez later opened up about her relationship with Bezos in January 2023, telling WSJ Magazine that the pair were "together all the time." "We love to be together and we love to work together," she told the outlet, before revealing that Bezos has a side that the public doesn't get to see. "He's really funny," she shared. "He makes me laugh all the time. He can be goofy." In May 2023, a source confirmed to PEOPLE that the two had gotten engaged. The news came as the couple was vacationing together in the South of France. Sánchez was photographed wearing a dazzling ring on that finger while spending time on Bezo's superyacht Koru and stepping out in town. At the time, a source told PEOPLE the newly engaged pair were "on cloud nine" and "so happy and madly in love." As for Sánchez's "huge" ring, the insider said the former Good Day LA co-host "keeps playing with it and looking at it. You can tell she loves it." When Bezos celebrated his milestone 60th birthday last year, Sánchez shared a sweet tribute to her then-fiancé on Instagram. "Today is another day where your laughter fills our home, and that smile of yours lights up every room. Wishing you an abundance of simple joys and quiet moments of happiness," she wrote. "May this year be filled with everything you love, from peaceful mornings to joyous celebrations." She added: "I hope each day brings you countless reasons to smile, just like you give me a reason to smile every single day. Love you, and happy birthday, my love." With their Venetian wedding, Bezos and Sánchez have now officially merged their families. The billionaire mogul shares four children with his ex-wife, and Sánchez shares son Nikko, 24, with ex Tony Gonzalez, and son Evan, 19, and daughter Ella, 17, with Whitesell. Maria Shriver Says She's ‘Interested in Any Great Love Experience' After Spending Her 60s Single

Maria Shriver opened up to Jenna Bush Hager about her attitude toward dating in her 70s Arnold Schwarzenegger's ex-wife discussed spending her 60s "happily single" Shriver finalized her divorce from Schwarzenegger in 2021 — a decade after their splitMaria Shriver is open to love in her 70s. As the philanthropist prepares to turn 70 in November, she opened up about the past decade of her life while guest co-hosting Today with Jenna & Friends on Friday, June 27. 'Your 60s are fantastic, and I was single in my 60s,' Shriver said. 'I have been single my whole 60s. And now I'm ending my 60s. I loved being single, but other people had a big problem with it.' The mother of four noted that while she'd describe herself as 'happily single,' she's found that other people seem to want to pair her up with a partner. 'I think other people are like, 'You don't have a boyfriend yet? What do you think that's about?' or 'What's wrong? What do you think you're doing? Are you not open?' ' Shriver shared. 'I also think people want you to be happy and they want you to have love and they want you to be in a couple.' When co-host Jenna Bush Hager asked Shriver if she was 'interested in dating' these days, she replied, 'I'm interested in any great love experience.' Bush Hager further pressed, saying she thought that meant 'yes.' 'That's a yes. I'm kind of trying to be open and yes to life in all its forms,' Shriver said. 'How about that? I just made that all up.' She also noted, 'I think if a great man comes along, that's great, at any age, by the way.' Never miss a story — sign up for to stay up-to-date on the best of what PEOPLE has to offer, from celebrity news to compelling human interest stories. Shriver's most famous relationship was with ex-husband Arnold Schwarzenegger, whom she married in 1986. The former couple is parents to Katherine Schwarzenegger, 35, Christina Schwarzenegger, 33, Patrick Schwarzenegger, 31, and Christopher Schwarzenegger, 27. Shriver served as the First Lady of California when Arnold was governor from 2003 to 2011. In 2011, Shriver and Arnold announced they were separating after 25 years of marriage after news broke that the Terminator star had fathered a child with the family's housekeeper during a secret affair. They didn't finalize their divorce until 2021, and in the years since, Shriver has not publicly dated. 'I'm a frustrated matchmaker myself, and I'm a big believer in relationships and love,' Shriver shared on the Jamie Kern Lima Show earlier this month. 'I've just kind of gotten to the place now where I'm thinking, I don't know, maybe, but my life is really full. I'm not looking, but I'm open to whatever God sends my way.' Shriver said that her kids have urged her to search for love the modern way. 'My kids have kidded around going, 'We should make you a dating app [profile],' " she added. 'I'm like 'Absolutely not!'
