Poland Beat Denmark 3-2 for First Euro Women's Win

POLAND recorded their first victory at a major women's tournament with a 3-2 win over Denmark on Saturday that saw them depart Euro 2025 on a high note. With both teams already eliminated, the result meant Poland came third in Group C at their debut Euros, and Denmark fourth. U.S. and Ukraine Hold Talks After Drone Attack on Moscow: What to Know

Ukrainian and American officials are meeting in Saudi Arabia on Tuesday in hopes of finding a way to halt the Russia-Ukraine war. Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Michael Waltz, the U.S. national security adviser, sat down in the city of Jeddah with a delegation led by Andriy Yermak, the Ukrainian president's chief of staff, Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha and Defense Minister Rustem Umerov. U.S. officials have said that they hope to determine in the meetings whether Ukraine is committed to pursuing peace with Russia. Local fire deptartment gets new $715K truck

POLAND, Ohio (WKBN) – The Western Reserve Joint Fire District welcomed a new fire truck to its fleet. The new truck, a 2025 Sutphen Pumper, took three years to build. It pumps about 1,500 gallons of water per minute and can carry an additional 1,000. The new truck cost about $715,000. Fire Officials say they've been saving money over the last several years to pull off the purchase. It replaces an older engine that was getting difficult to service and find parts for. 'The biggest thing was that our old vehicle was a 1997. It's just a matter of getting parts. This is much more reliable and much more efficient. It will help us serve the community in a more practical way,' said Chief David Comstock Fire officials say they plan to sell the engine to another department. Copyright 2025 Nexstar Media, Inc.
