Richard Lee, 39, tragically died in hospital after the alleged attack in the early hours of the morning on Thursday. Officers scrambled to the area after receiving reports of a man being found seriously injured on the road. Shortly after police arrived, the man was rushed to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow in an ambulance. Medics worked to save Richard, however, he tragically passed away a short time later. Candice's devastated family have paid tribute to the much-loved man, saying he will be "very much missed.' He will be very much missed Family statement Officers quickly launched an investigation into the incident, and a 40-year-old David Arthur was arrested and charged in connection with the death. Arthur appeared in Paisley Sheriff Court yesterday, charged with murdering Richard, and made no plea during a short hearing. He is also facing a charge of attempting to defeat the ends of justice and was remanded in custody. He is due to appear in court again next week. Drivers were warned to stay away as cops locked down a stretch of road between Mossvale Lane and Albion Street leading to the M8. Forensics officers were seen inside the cordon as they swept the area for clues. A resident - who has lived in the area for 40 years - told of her shock at waking to see a huge police presence on Thursday morning. The woman, who didn't wish to be named, said: 'I never heard a thing through the night, and then when I opened my blinds in the morning, the police were all over the street. Detective Inspector Gordon Smith said: "Our thoughts remain with Richard's family and friends. "We are continuing to offer support and are keeping them updated with the progress of our investigation. Rangers hosted Celtic at Ibrox for the highly anticipated Glasgow derby clash on Sunday, May 4, which ended in a 1-1 draw. Police say their investigation relates to "an incident which occurred" inside the stadium. All of the men have been described as white and were standing in the Copland Road lower stand during the match, which kicked off at 12pm. The first man is described as having a slim build with short fair hair and wearing a black top with a white logo on the left chest area on the day. He was spotted standing behind the right side of the goal, in the second row. The second man was seen standing behind the goal near the centre, wearing a black top, a black baseball cap and a dark coloured snood. The third man that cops are looking for was standing around ten rows from the front. He is described as being of slim build with short brown hair and a short beard, and was wearing a dark coloured hooded top with a white circle-shaped logo on his left chest area. While the fourth man is said to be of a medium build with short brown hair and stubble, and was wearing a light grey hooded top. He was seen around 15 rows from the front and was standing close to a steward. He was wearing a black t-shirt with white writing across the chest, a blue snood and blue mirrored sunglasses. The sixth man was standing around nine rows from the front and is said to have a medium build with short brown hair and a short beard. On the day he was wearing a dark-coloured sweatshirt with a white circle logo on the left chest area. Finally, the seventh man was positioned around 15 rows from the front and was wearing a royal blue t-shirt with white letters across the chest. He is described as being of medium build, with dark brown hair which is longer at the fringe. The men are all being urged to come forward to assist with police enquiries. Anyone who knows the man, or recognises him, have also been asked to contact Police Scotland or Crimestoppers. Constable Garry Taylor of Police Scotland said: 'We would encourage the men, or anyone who recognises them, to get in touch.
