Jesse Metcalfe Reacts to Scheana Shay's Memoir, ‘My Good Side'
Another day means there's another revelation from Scheana Shay's new memoir, My Good Side, that's due for a debrief. The Vanderpump Rules alum got candid about her string of famous exes in the book, from John Mayer and Adrian Grenier to Jesse McCartney and Jesse Metcalfe—and the John Tucker Must Die actor has caught wind of her retelling of their romance. During an appearance on Tori Spelling's podcast, misSPELLING, Jesse reacted to Scheana's revelation in real time. 'I know. She spoke highly of me, which was nice,' he said during the July 16 episode. He admitted that he 'tried to keep' his past with Scheana from his current girlfriend, Helene Immel, who was listening in on the conversation. Though Jesse clarified he dated Scheana 'a long time ago, 20 years ago,' he confirmed that her recollection was true. 'We were dating. I mean, overall, it was pretty brief, but we were seeing each other on a regular basis,' he shared, revealing they had 'met through a mutual friend who happened to be her boss.' 'So her boss and I went to the same gym. And he had mentioned that she thought I was handsome, and we ended up going out, and the rest is history,' Jesse confirmed. On July 23, Jesse sat down for another interview with Page Six Radio, the day after Scheana had visited the outlet to promote her memoir. When the hosts told him she talked about the 'Hollywood hunks' she explored romantic connections with, Jesse cheekily replied, 'She did alright, didn't she?' 'I mean, this was almost 15 years ago, maybe even close to 20 years ago. So, hopefully, that's not the most relevant thing about me, that I dated Scheana Shay 20 years ago,' he added in response to the 'nicest things' she said about their fling. 'But I have fond memories of that time. She's a great girl, I'm really proud of her and happy for her success.' In My Good Side, Scheana revealed that she and Jesse—who she described as 'the sexy gardener from Desperate Housewives'—dated after he got out of rehab for 'alcohol issues' in March 2007. 'I recall thinking what a dream it would be to date him — which I did, beginning in early 2007. Jesse was an awesome guy,' she wrote. The 'Good as Gold' singer also detailed their first outing after his rehabilitation, where she refrained from drinking alcohol around him in solidarity with his newfound sobriety. 'The first date he took me on post-rehab was the Cloverfield red carpet movie premiere. I then spent my twenty-second birthday at dinner with him, and I vividly remember sticking to water and Red Bull all night as a way of supporting his sobriety,' she shared. 'We would order in dinner with his parents at his house, and — when we were alone — he would play the guitar and serenade me with songs like 'Hey There Delilah,'' Scheana dished. 'It felt like I was living a real-life fantasy with this guy I'd watched on TV and in movies for years.' All in all, she said that they 'had a great time together' thanks to his romantic gestures.

Sam Asghari insists he had to 'work harder' as an actor because of Britney Spears marriage
Sam Asghari has insisted he had to "work harder to prove himself" after marrying Britney Spears. The 31-year-old model and actor met his ex on the set of her 'Slumber Party' music video in 2016, and they tied the knot six years later, before separating in August 2023 and finalising their divorce in May 2024. Speaking to 'Page Six Radio', he said he "absolutely [had] to work harder to prove myself.' He was also working as a waiter and for his own Asghari Fitness brand, with some casting agents seeing him as a "cheesy trainer". He added: ''Oh, and he's associated with a pop star, which is also cheesy as well.' Or 'can we see him as a character?' There was that line as well." However, Sam acknowledged that there were advantages to being in a high profile romance with the 'Toxic' pop star. He said: 'I can't sit here and lie and say, 'It wasn't good for me'. "When you're in such a public relationship ... it sort of gave me that platform for who I am.' However, he recently rubbished the suggestion that he tried to take advantage of Britney's fame and success. Sam told the 'Trading Secrets' podcast: "I never get mad at the general public or fans or people that are seeing your life from a distance, especially now that I'm not in a relationship for over two years or a year and something. 'Real Housewives of Miami' star Julia Lemigova is getting real about her fallout with ex-bestie Adriana de Moura. Calling in to SiriusXM's 'Page Six Radio' on Friday, Lemigova told us about the 'sad and disturbing' end of their friendship while discussing her current role in the Florida Grand Opera's 'Carmen.' 'Sorry to break [this to you]. [De Moura] will not be coming to watch me in 'Carmen,'' said the Bravolebrity, who has performances at the Broward Center in Fort Lauderdale on April 24 and 26. 'For years, people have been telling me not to trust certain people, and I think I wanted to fight that, to fight what they were telling me,' she continued. 'But now I'm finally opening my eyes and seeing maybe they were right all along.' Lemigova, 52, joined 'RHOM' in Season 4 when Peacock rebooted the reality show in 2021 after eight years off the air. She entered the fray via de Moura, 59, a longtime friend, who starred as a full-time cast member in the original iteration, but has maintained a 'friend of' role in its revived state. Lemigova told 'Page Six Radio' that she and de Moura clashed while filming the forthcoming seventh season of 'RHOM,' further claiming that the 'Feel the Rush' singer came 'directly at' her on camera. In video footage that circulated on social media in December 2024, Lemigova and de Moura were seen in a skirmish for which production was present. In one clip, de Moura seemed to tell Lemigova, 'I see you for who you are … and now I'm going to treat you how you treat me.' Months later, Lemigova — a native of Russia who made history as the first out lesbian 'Housewife' to be cast on the juggernaut franchise — seems befuddled by de Moura's assessment of their discord. 'It's a very sexy show,' said Lemigova, noting that Alexia, 57, and Todd, 52 — who recently finalized their divorce but appear to still be dating, hitting up events on the Miami social scene and even smooching in public — seemed to be be so 'hot and bothered' by the opera that they had to 'excuse themselves' from the audience. The entertainer added, 'They did leave. Maybe it was a little too hot to handle and they had to go home, but I think that just means we did a good job onstage.'
