Baloch Leader Hyrbyair Marri: 'Balochistan Is Not The Problem... The Real Sources Of Instability In The Region Are The Iranian And Pakistani Islamic Republics'
On June 18, 2025, U.S. President Donald Trump hosted Pakistan's army chief Field Marshal Asim Munir at the White House. Renowned Baloch leader Hyrbyair Marri, head of the Free Balochistan Movement (FBM), stated on X that, during the meeting, Pakistani General Munir told President Trump that occupied Balochistan on both the Iranian and Pakistani sides would become a problem if Iran were to collapse. Yet, Marri commented that this framing is not only misleading but deeply dishonest. "Balochistan is not the problem, it is the solution and the key to regional stability. The real sources of instability in the region are the Iranian and Pakistani Islamic republics, both of which have long histories of fueling extremism and suppressing occupied nations through violence and state-sponsored terrorism,' Marri stressed. Renowned Baloch leader Hyrbyair Marri, head of the Free Balochistan Movement (FBM) Below is Hyrbyair Marri's post on X:[1] "Americans Should Not Heed This Unscrupulous General" "According to a June 19, 2025 Reuters report, Pakistani General Asim Munir told the U.S. President Donald Trump during their meeting in Washington that occupied Balochistan on both the Iranian and Pakistani sides would become a problem if Iran were to collapse. This framing is not only misleading but deeply dishonest. The Americans should not heed to this unscrupulous general. "Balochistan is not the problem, it is the solution and the key to regional stability. The real sources of instability in the region are the Iranian and Pakistani Islamic republics, both of which have long histories of fueling extremism and suppressing occupied nations through violence and state-sponsored terrorism. The people of Balochistan oppose the exploitation of their own resources, including rare earth minerals, by the Punjabi-controlled Pakistani central government. (See MEMRI Daily Brief No. 791, Pakistan's Army Chief Asim Munir Is Bin Laden In Uniform, June 18, 2025) "Both Iran And Pakistan Have Repeatedly Engaged In Nuclear Brinkmanship" "Iran has exported terrorism through proxies like the Houthis in Yemen, the Assad regime, Iraqi militias, and Hezbollah in Lebanon, undermining neighboring countries and threatening regional peace. Pakistan has followed a similar pattern, cultivating terrorist organizations such as Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed to conduct attacks in Kashmir in India, and using various factions to wage a bloody civil war in Afghanistan for decades. These are not isolated incidents but a well planned policy of using extremism and militancy as tools of foreign policy. "The Americans and the West should not forget that the core of the problem is Pakistan because it exported nuclear know-how to Iran, Libya, and North Korea. Moreover, both Iran and Pakistan have repeatedly engaged in nuclear brinkmanship, Iran with its uranium proliferation and Pakistan with nuclear arsenals, have been using it for political leverage to secure cushy financial aid, international concessions, and legitimacy for their authoritarian regimes. Their strategy of exporting terrorism and threatening regional powers, including their neighbours, Israel and India. This has only entrenched their rule on the occupied nations like Baloch, Pashtuns, Kurds, Al Ahwaz Arabs, Azeri Turks, and others. (Source: CIA) (Source: CIA) "The Baloch Struggle Is Not Rooted In Extremism "In contrast, the Baloch struggle is not rooted in extremism but in a legitimate movement for dignity, justice, and freedom. If the world seeks true peace and tranquility in the Middle East and South Asia, it must stop viewing Balochistan through the lens of Pakistani or Iranian propaganda. The time has come to recognise, who the real threats are and who are the potential partners for peace and stability. Independent Balochistan is the need of the hour. #FreeBalochistan"

Pakistan announces retaliatory measures against India
Pakistan has outlined its own measures against India on Thursday in a tit for tat after India's strong response to the killing of 26 people in an Indian-controlled area of Kashmir. Gunmen opened fire on a group of tourists on Tuesday in Jammu-Kashmir. A group said to be linked to Pakistani Islamic extremists claimed responsibility. Police have identified two of the gunmen as Pakistani. The Kashmir region is claimed by both India and Pakistan. Pakistan's Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif chaired a meeting of the National Security Committee on Thursday to determine actions against India. In addition to expelling Indian military advisers, Pakistan's airspace will be closed with immediate effect for all Indian owned or operated airlines. It's also suspending all trade with India. The government condemned India's move in a statement, calling it politically motivated, extremely irresponsible and devoid of legal merit.

Rakhi Sawant responds to Mufti Qavi's marriage proposal
Listen to article Controversial Indian actress Rakhi Sawant has finally responded to the marriage proposal made by renowned Pakistani Islamic scholar Mufti Abdul Qavi in a recent podcast. Known for his provocative statements and actions, Mufti Qavi once again found himself in the headlines, this time for expressing his desire to marry the Bollywood actress during a podcast with Muneezay Moeen. Mufti Qavi had long been a controversial figure, having been involved in numerous scandals, including the infamous Qandeel Baloch case, the Hareem Shah slap incident, and his eventual stripping of the 'Mufti' title. His latest antics continued to make waves as he turned his attention to Sawant. During the podcast, Mufti Qavi referred to Sawant's recent Umrah pilgrimage and called her a 'respectable woman.' He raised questions about her marital history, asking whether she had married according to Hindu or Muslim traditions. He referenced well-known Islamic scholars such as Dr. Zakir Naik and the late Dr. Ahmed Deedat, who regarded the Hindu holy book as an 'inspired book.' Mufti Qavi suggested that this could make Sawant 'people of the book,' a term in Islam used for those who follow revealed scriptures. The conversation took an unexpected turn when Mufti Qavi directly addressed Rakhi's alleged interest in marrying a Pakistani scholar, stating, 'I am here and ready, but with one condition: I will ask my mother for permission first. If she permits me, then, because it is her command, you need to ask me before getting married.' Sawant reacted to Qavi's proposal by stating, "I'm dying to marry a Maulana; my sister Sana Khan has also married a Mufti." She went on to say that Dodi Khan, another man vying for her affection, is like a modern man but a devout worshipper. Rakhi added humorously that although she had never met Mufti Qavi, she was intrigued by his name and jokingly requested that he write a poem for her. However, Mufti Qavi is not the only Pakistani man courting Rakhi Sawant. Actor Dodi Khan, who previously proposed to the actress, has become the center of media attention after their engagement ended in an unexpected twist. Despite earlier rumors, Dodi Khan recently apologized to Rakhi, saying, 'I am sorry Rakhi ji! You are a very good friend of mine and will remain so. You may not be able to become my bride, but I promise you that you will become the daughter-in-law of Pakistan. I will get you married to one of my friends or brothers.' Sawant's connection with Pakistan, which began innocently through playful exchanges with actress Hania Aamir, has since spiraled into a series of dramatic and controversial twists. From public proposals to shocking breakups, her ties with the country remain a source of intrigue. Whether these proposals are genuine or simply part of Rakhi's larger-than-life persona, it is clear that her ongoing 'love affair' with Pakistan is far from over.
