Palestinian Prisoners Suffer Terrifying Conditions in Israeli Caustody
DaysofPal—Raed Amer, Director of International Relations at the Palestinian Prisoners Club Association, has described the situation inside Israeli prisons as 'terrifying and deeply alarming.' Amer said in a statement on Tuesday that testimonies from released prisoners and attorneys have revealed the grim and degrading conditions faced by male and female detainees held in Israeli prisons. He explained that human rights organizations have extensively documented accounts from former prisoners and lawyers who managed to visit detainees, reporting 'horrifying' details about the abuse, mistreatment, and violations occurring behind bars. Amer added that the Palestinian Prisoners Club is actively working on the international level to bring attention to the suffering of prisoners and to inform relevant global bodies about the ongoing violations taking place inside Israeli detention facilities. He pointed to a newly released report on the state of the Palestinian prisoner movement during the first half of 2025, describing it as containing 'extremely dangerous findings' related to conditions of detention, and the Israeli policies of abuse, starvation, and humiliation. 'This is reflected in Israel's admission that 73 prisoners have died under torture, which amounts to executions,' Amer said. 'And this figure does not even include prisoners from Gaza who were executed.' According to Amer, Israeli forces have arrested more than 18,000 Palestinians in recent months. Currently, there are around 11,000 Palestinians held in Israeli jails, nearly half of them under administrative detention without charge or trial. Among them are 50 female prisoners and approximately 40 journalists. Shortlink for this post:

Salah Jaber, the mayor of Aqraba, reported that Israeli forces stormed the area accompanied by two bulldozers and began demolition operations, causing significant damage to residents' property as part of the ongoing Israeli policy of displacement and harassment in the West Bank. Meanwhile, Israeli settlers uprooted approximately 150 olive saplings in the Gziwa area near the village of Susiya, located in the Masafer Yatta region south of Hebron, further intensifying settler-led aggression against Palestinian agricultural lands.

Israeli Occupation issues administrative detention order against Palestinian girl without charges
Ramallah – Saba: The Israeli occupation authorities have issued a four-month administrative detention order against 17-year-old Palestinian girl Hanaa Haitham Ismail Hammad from the Hebron area, raising the number of female administrative detainees to ten out of 41 women currently held in Israeli prisons. According to a joint statement issued Wednesday by the Commission for Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs and the Palestinian Prisoners Club, the occupation forces arrested Hanaa on June 9 after raiding her family's home in Al-Arroub refugee camp. During the arrest, both the girl and her mother—who was temporarily detained—were subjected to field interrogation and harsh treatment, before the mother was released later. The statement noted an unprecedented rise in administrative detentions since the beginning of the war, with the number of administrative detainees reaching 3,562 as of early June, including approximately 95 minors under the age of 18. It added that administrative detention has increasingly targeted various segments of Palestinian society—including women, children, and political and social activists—with at least 400 administrative detention orders issued in a single week, among thousands issued since the escalation began. The commission and the Prisoners Club emphasized that Israeli military courts continue to legitimize administrative detention orders through what they described as 'procedural formalities', without presenting formal charges or ensuring fair trials, and under the direction of the Israeli intelligence agency (Shin Bet). The statement further highlighted a shift in the use of administrative detention in recent years. Detainees have protested through hunger strikes and boycotting court sessions, yet the occupation has continued expanding this policy using new methods. It is worth noting that eight administrative detainees have died in Israeli prisons since the beginning of the aggression on Gaza on October 7, 2023, among a total of 72 prisoners martyred during the same period, according to statistics from the Commission and the Prisoners Club. Injuries Reported as Israeli Forces Raid Several Towns in Occupied Jerusalem - Jordan News
Injuries Reported as Israeli Forces Raid Several Towns in Occupied Jerusalem Several Palestinians suffered from tear gas inhalation on Sunday as Israeli occupation forces stormed multiple neighborhoods in occupied Jerusalem. اضافة اعلان According to a statement by the Jerusalem Governorate, Israeli forces raided the home of Ahmad Badr in the town of Al-Isawiya, northeast of Jerusalem, and detained him. During the incursion, soldiers heavily fired toxic tear gas towards residential homes, causing numerous cases of suffocation. In a related incident, Israeli forces also stormed the Kafr Aqab neighborhood in northern Jerusalem early Sunday morning, firing a barrage of tear gas canisters toward residential buildings. The attack led to a fire breaking out on a balcony of one apartment. No direct injuries were reported. Meanwhile, Israeli occupation forces carried out a wide-scale arrest campaign, detaining 40 Palestinians across the West Bank, including children and former prisoners. In a joint statement, the Palestinian Prisoners' Affairs Commission and the Palestinian Prisoners Club said the arrests were concentrated in Hebron, with others reported in Nablus, Ramallah, Bethlehem, and Jerusalem. The statement noted that Israeli forces have intensified arrest operations and field interrogations in the West Bank, alongside ongoing mass killings in Gaza and field executions and home demolitions particularly in Jenin and Tulkarm. Since the beginning of the war, the total number of arrests in the West Bank has risen to approximately 17,500, including both those who remain in custody and those who were released. This figure excludes thousands of arrests from Gaza. For the third consecutive day, Israeli forces have imposed arbitrary and oppressive measures at military checkpoints across the West Bank, enforcing a strict security cordon and a complete lockdown on all cities, villages, and camps due to the war on Iran. These measures have paralyzed daily life throughout the occupied West Bank. — (Petra)
