Tori Kelly is expecting her first child with husband André Murillo. The soon-to-be parents met in 2016 and married in 2018. The "Paper Hearts" singer broke the news via an exclusive interview with People. "This year has already been full of highs—getting to perform in stadiums all summer, writing the most personal songs of my career, and now getting to start a family with my amazing husband," she told the outlet. "We are just so grateful for what's to come and can't wait to meet this little gift from God." Kelly's words were accompanied by an intimate family video shot at home and on the beach. Titled "let's make a..." the one-minute clip ended with Kelly revealing her pregnant belly. As for the soundtrack, the couple used a snippet from an unreleased project. "I'm ready for what comes next," Kelly sings. "Let's make a baby.' Kelly and Murillo met in 2016 and wed on May 20, 2018. The singer later called her nuptials "the most magical day ever," per People. A few years later, Kelly made headlines after being hospitalized for blood clots in her legs and lungs. "My family was definitely there for me. I had a peace throughout most of it, but I was just kinda confused and wondering what was going on," Kelly later said in an interview with Jennifer Hudson. "I thankfully had some amazing doctors who were able to just take care of everything and get me healthy." The singer added that nowadays, "I feel really good, I'm really grateful.' Ardee teen set to release heartfelt new single
Drogheda Independent Today at 22:00 Fifteen-year-old Ardee singer-songwriter Maisie Brady is once again making waves in the world of music with the release of her second single The Girl I Used to Be, coming out on all streaming platforms on Friday, May 9. A student at Ardee Community School currently preparing for her Junior Cert, Maisie is juggling schoolwork with a rising music career that's already turning heads far beyond her hometown. Her debut single Paper Hearts, released in January, was met with positive reviews and continues to receive steady radio airplay, including on country radio stations as far away as Nashville, Tennessee. Her new song, The Girl I Used to Be was written by Maisie herself and recorded at Ivory Studios in Slane, with producer Mark Cahill. The music video was created by Aidan Farrelly of Bad Apple Films. Maisie says the song is about growing up and learning to accept that things change but that change doesn't have to be a bad thing. She describes it as a reflection on holding on to treasured memories. In the coming months, Maisie hopes to fit in some live performances and continue working on new music.
