Moses Simon joins Paris FC from Nantes
Nigerian winger Moses Simon (29) has officially signed for Paris FC from FC Nantes, as confirmed by both clubs in announcements made on social media. After completing a medical yesterday, PFC have announced the signing of the Nigerian international winger, who has played over 180 matches in Ligue 1 – and has put pen to paper on a deal which will run until 2028 with the capital club. The 29-year-old made 32 appearances in Ligue 1 last season, scoring 8 goals and registering 10 assists. His 18 goal contributions equate to 46% of the goals Nantes scored last term. With Les Canaris winger (who can also play as a striker) reached the final of the Coupe de France in 2022 and 2023, and has avoided the drop with Nantes on several occasions over the last four seasons – even featuring the Europa League after winning the Coupe de France in 2022. Les Parisiens announced the signing of Nhoa Sangui (19) from Stade de Reims yesterday evening, as PFC also look to sign former Olympique de Marseille centre-back Chancel Mbemba, who is out of contract this summer. Nhoa Sangui completes Paris FC move
Nhoa Sangui (19) has completed a move from relegated Stade de Reims to recently promoted Paris FC. The Reims youth product made 32 appearances in all competitions last season. However, with Les Stadistes making the drop down to Ligue 2, they will be obliged to sell off many of their assets, including their academy product, Sangui. Whilst the fee for the France youth international has not been disclosed, L'Équipe understands that the deal will rise up to €5m, including bonuses. Advertisement Sangui has signed a five-year deal with the club, whose summer spending is expected to continue. FC Nantes' Moses Simon is also on the verge of completing a move to the newly promoted side. There will be further arrivals, too, with L'Équipe reporting that Paris FC could spend as much as €40m during the current transfer window, in order to secure their top-flight status next season and build the foundations for more long-term success. Krasnodar submit offer for Nantes' Douglas Augusto
FC Nantes' squad could be picked apart this summer. Moses Simon is on the verge of completing a move to recently promoted Paris FC, Matthis Abline is the subject of interest from Olympique de Marseille and multiple Premier League sides, whilst Nathan Zézé is also linked with a move away from the Beaujoire. Les Canaris' midfield could also be picked apart. As per a report from Ouest-France, Nantes have received an offer from Russian club Krasnodar for Douglas Augusto (28). The bid is worth €4m. Whilst it is thought that this figure will not be sufficient to conclude a deal, it has nonetheless allowed for talks between the two sides to begin. Advertisement Augusto is tempted by the prospect of joining Krasnodar. The Brazilian, who joined Nantes two years ago, has a contract that runs through until 2027.
