New Love Island Casa Amor bombshell Yaz arrives tomorrow: "I do fall fast in a relationship"

It's official, there's just one more day to go until Love Island's Casa Amor kicks off. While we've already learned that one of the bombshells is Harry's ex - who looked visibly shocked when Meg read out her name - there are five other girls ready to enter the villa. One of the new Islanders is Yaz, who has shared that she's not afraid of turning someone's head, because she's joining the show to find a "genuine connection." So, as we prepare for Casa Amor and the drama that is likely to come with it, let's find out a little more about Yaz. From her age, occupation, to who she currently has her eye on in the villa... Yaz is 26 years old and currently lives in Manchester. Yaz is a DJ. "The one thing that people are most surprised to learn about me is that I can sing. Some people also think I'm lying about being a DJ. Especially guys on a night out!" she joked. OK, this fully means that she needs to flex these skills in the villa. Pool party, anyone? Casa Amor's latest bombshell has stated that she doesn't have a game plan, but knows what she wants and who she wants. When reflecting on how it's been watching the show in the knowledge that she'll be entering the villa, Yaz said: "If I was to sum it up, I would say it's been wild, feral and crazy. From watching it at home and comparing it to previous series, it's a crazy one." The new Islander also revealed that she falls fast in a relationship, and can get "a bit delusional." She explained: "When I fall for someone, I forget everything else. My whole life goes on hold for the person I'm in love with. I'm a lovergirl." As for the kind of Islander she thinks she'll be, Yaz used the terms "fun and geeky." But, she said that these personality traits won't be expected. She added: "People always tell me they never thought I'd be like that but then I open my mouth." "I have my eye on three boys: Harrison, Tommy and Conor. They all seem like they treat women really well, and they have nice personalities and nice bodies." "Definitely someone that's masculine, muscly, taller than me and emotionally available," the Islander shared. You can find Yaz on Instagram under @yasmin_lauryn, where she has 16.2K followers. Her grid is littered with DJ content, from promoting her Ministry of Sound mixes to footage of her playing at events like Parklife festival, and the Sabrina Carpenter pre-party in Manchester. Love Island continues on Sunday night at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.

Parent living near Oasis gig venue demands dress code to protect 'moral decency'

A 'concerned resident' has suggested that 'minimum dress standards' and 'buffer zones' be established for the upcoming Oasis reunion concerts at Heaton Park in Manchester to tackle issues of 'indecent exposure'. The band's highly anticipated reunion tour is set to hit the city in just under two weeks. Oasis will mark their first performance in 16 years with a gig in Cardiff on Friday (July 4) night on a tour that also takes in two dates at Croke Park on August 16 and 17. However, the gigs have stirred up mixed feelings among the residents of Prestwich and Blackley, the suburban areas neighbouring Heaton Park. Rachel Varley, a mother of three, expressed her frustration last month, saying: "I don't think it's fair on residents. I just think it's really poor to put such a big event on in such a family residential area. Why is it not in an arena?". Others are more accommodating of the influx of music enthusiasts, which is a regular occurrence due to the annual Parklife festival in June. Many locals believe the Oasis event won't pose any new challenges, reports the Manchester Evening News. Zainab Nawaz, 19, said: "It happens every year, you get used to it. It's always packed. It's a bit of an inconvenience [on the road] but other than that, we live in front of a big park, what do you expect?" An unnamed local, who said they live near the park, has now urged Manchester council and concert promoters SJM to enforce strict rules at the Oasis shows to combat what they describe as 'inappropriate dress and indecent exposure'. In an email sent to Manchester council, Greater Manchester Police, and local councillors, the resident stated: "As a parent/resident, I find it deeply offensive, inappropriate, and harmful for impressionable young minds to be exposed to this without choice. "This is not a matter of taste or fashion - it is a matter of basic public standards, community respect, and moral decency in shared spaces. I am therefore asking the Council and event organizers to: Enforce a minimum dress code standard within the surrounding public areas of Heaton Park (especially outside festival gates); Consider buffer zones or event fencing that reduces direct visibility of attendees from public walkways and streets; Engage in public consultation with local families and schools who are impacted by the exposure of this content; Consider the long-term damage to Heaton Park's reputation as a safe, family-friendly environment. "It should not be acceptable for children walking near their homes, schools, or parks to witness what would be considered indecent exposure in any other situation - all under the umbrella of 'festival culture'." It's understood Manchester council lacks the authority to enforce a dress code at the highly anticipated shows, despite being the organisation which owns Heaton Park. The attire of the Oasis fans is also anticipated to be quite distinct, with parka coats, bucket hats, and Adidas Gazelle trainers predicted to be the fashion choice of the day, as opposed to skin-tight fluorescent leotards. Both Manchester council and SJM have been contacted for comment. Tickets for the Oasis reunion sold out across all venues due to huge demand when they went online earlier in the year. However, there are still several options available for fans trying to snag a last-minute spot. Limited last-minute tickets can be bought from the official Ticketmaster resale site, where fans who can no longer go sell their seats, although these tend to go into and out of stock quickly. Elsewhere, resale sites like Viagogo, Vivid Seats, StubHub and Twickets are selling tickets for various dates, although fans should always bear in mind that many official sites, such as Ticketmaster and Live Nation, discourage the purchase of resale tickets. Meanwhile Seat Unique has some VIP tickets available offering a host of additional perks alongside access to the gig. Oasis' Manchester homecoming has locals fearing fan behavior — and they want a dress code

Fearful residents are demanding a 'dress code' and a 'buffer zone' as 340,000 Oasis fans are due to flood their streets ahead of five concerts later this month. Worried locals living near Heaton Park, Manchester, says they are concerned about nudity, drunken behavior and people peeing in their gardens during the sell-out gigs. Advertisement The park's neighbors say they've even been given temporary fencing to place in front of the houses to defend themselves from hoards of concert-goers. 13 Worried locals living near the concert say they're concerned about nudity and drunken behavior. Getty Images The five Oasis concerts – the first time the band will have played in their home city since 2009 – will come just a week after thousands of music fans gather for the annual Parklife festival at the 600 acre park. Residents are concerned about drunken Oasis fans wearing 'skimpy' outfits, breaking into their gardens, going to the toilet in their driveways as well as problems with parking. Advertisement Mom of four Nosheen Usman, 46, has lived on Sheepfoot Lane, opposite the park's south entrance, for 35 years. She says she thinks the local council should impose a dress code on revelers, with previous 'Parklife' attendees walking past her home wearing 'literally nothing'. 13 Aerial view of houses near Heaton Park, Manchester, UK. William Lailey Nosheen said: 'Two years ago, I don't know what the theme was, but they were literally wearing nothing. Advertisement 'My kids were 11, 12 years old, and we had to tell them not to go outside. 'They were coming inside our driveway, they were taking pictures. 'The whole street has kids, young girls, boys, and especially when they're drunk at night time half of them walk without shoes, running on the road, screaming, singing, doing whatever. 13 Mom of four Nosheen Usman has lived on Sheepfoot Lane, opposite the park's south entrance, for 35 years. William Lailey Advertisement 'One of the girls tops broke while she was walking. It wasn't her fault, but she was completely naked on the road. 'My kids were going 'mom can I take the camera outside?' and I said 'don't even think about it'.' As well as dealing with drunken revelers, Nosheen said event parking rules have also been causing stress. Strict enforcement, she says, meant the working mom missed a family wedding, as she knew she'd be unable to drive back to her house in time for her retail shift the next day. 13 The Oasis concerts will come just a week after thousands of music fans gather for the annual Parklife festival. I've got twins, I left my car here, came inside, went back out, ticket. 'Another time, my husband came to drop me off, he pulled his car out, I went inside to drop my bag, and a police car told him to move or he'd get a ticket.' Mark Passmore Photography / SWNS The self-employed dad said: 'The disruption a lot of the families on here face is massive. 'The majority of families along this stretch now are families with young children who are disrupted for the weekend. Advertisement 'This year I think it hasn't been taken into consideration. 'It does look like the councils are more interested in making money rather than concentrating residents, listening to their concerns, because concerns of the residents on this stretch haven't been listened to. 13 Father of four Habib, 50, has lived on the road for 15 years. William Lailey 'No-one's been to see us, no-one's had a consultation with us. Advertisement 'To have another five dates with Oasis, which is going to be huge, I think it's sad that the organizers did not consult or listen to the residents.' He added: 'You get people chucking things into your garden, some people still will try to run into your garden. 'You get kids coming in to your garden, what they want to do we don't know. 'A lot of the problems we have on this stretch as residents during Parklife is more due to the staff they employ than punters nowadays, especially the parking wardens who give residents such as hard time Advertisement 13 The five Oasis concerts will mark the first time the band will play in their home city since 2009. AP Ann Fullen, 84, has lived opposite the park for 43 years. She says the street gets 'noisy' during gigs. However the OAP disagreed with calls for an enforced dress code – saying the outfits were part of the fun. She said: 'They're lovely, short skirts – they do very well. It's funny to watch them roaming up and down this verge. 13 Preparations are underway for the first dates of the highly anticipated Oasis reunion tour. Andrew Lloyd / 'Let them get on with it, they're not doing any harm – they seem to enjoy themselves with their short skirts and what have you.' For the last few years, those living on Sheepfoot Lane have been given temporary gates to block drunken music fans from coming into their driveways. A resident of the street for 38 years, retiree Jaroslaw Kopczyk said for most of the year he enjoys living close to the 'beautiful' Heaton Park. But Jaroslaw recalled an incident where two women came in to his neighbor's front garden to relieve themselves. 13 Fans queueing for an Oasis reunion concert. Mirrorpix / MEGA He said: 'A couple of women came in and pulled their knickers down, and they were having a wee. 'They were obviously very, very bold to do it there, on a fairly busy road so they could be seen. We could actually see them through the bedroom window!' He added: 'They do give you fences to protect you, but there's not enough people, not enough wardens, to make sure that attendees to the events do what they have to do. 'Once the event's finished they should be going home. 13 Nossheen missed a family wedding because she knew she'd be unable to drive back to her house in time for her retail shift the next day. William Lailey 'There should be wardens here to make sure they're not sat on walls with a possibility of causing any damage anywhere. That's probably the biggest concern.' Mohamed Dilshad Mir, 73, has lived on the road for 37 years. He said he was looking forward to the Oasis gigs, but he admitted it did cause 'inconvenience' to local residents. He said: 'We can't park – that's one of our cars parked on the road there, we won't be able to park, we rely on our neighbors, we've got very good neighbors who are very welcoming and our extra cars are parked on their drives. 13 Mohamed Dilshad Mir said he was looking forward to the Oasis gigs, but he admitted it did cause 'inconvenience' to local residents. Mark Passmore Photography / SWNS 'It's a bit difficult because you can't get away. 'When Parklife was on we had a do in the Midlands, but we couldn't come back because they close the roads at 8.30, so we had to stay overnight at my sister's and come back the following afternoon.' Stephen Golmbeck, a resident of 35 years, said: 'It's great, there's no problem, we know what it is. 'When there's concerts on, it's gone better and better, it's well organized. You get the gates, you have police walking up all the time. 13 Oasis fans wearing band t-shirts in the front rows of the crowd watching them perform at at Earls Court, London, November 1995. Redferns 'A lot of older people will moan, but everyone's young so let them enjoy themselves.' 'I think we should be given a free ticket on Sheepfoot Lane, 100%. '[Noel and Liam] are what they are, but I do like the music.' Manchester city councillor John Hacking said: 'We have a tried and tested process in place to support the planning and delivery of major music events in Heaton Park, which draws on experience and lessons learnt from more than ten years of hosting Parklife there. 13 A fan uses their phone to access an online ticket sales website to purchase tickets for Oasis' 'Live '25' tour taking place in 2025. AFP via Getty Images 'This includes working closely with organizers, promoters, key agency partners and others to ensure robust tailored measures are in place across every aspect of the event – from travel and transport to and from, to ensuring a safe environment for those attending. 'We also hold regular discussions with local residents' groups, and detailed plans are implemented to help reduce the impact of the concerts on the local community. 'In addition to this we will also have a dedicated community impact team working for the duration of the Oasis concerts – as we did over the Parklife weekend – monitoring and managing any concerns.'

The incident, which his step daughter witnessed, has left him terrified to leave his house and scared to work again. Explaining what happened Ty, who was attending the event for fun and not work, told us: 'As soon as I got there everyone was just mithering me for pictures the whole entire day. 'My step daughter Kelly was going towards the main stage. and I was following, and then when they stopped, I was pushed like mad from the side very aggressively. 'I was like, 'what's going on here?' I thought someone had just pushed someone into me. I didn't think I've done anything wrong. 'And then they pushed me again in my chest, and these girls were asking for pictures. 'I was saying 'there's some trouble with these lads, I need to try and get away. I can't have a picture, basically. 'So I tried to push past him, and as I've done that he's dragged me to the floor. 'And there was another four of them basically behind him, and he just kicked and punched me. And they were like savages. They were just like coyotes.' 'it was terrifying. About six people kicking my head in on the floor, booting it like a football. Punching me all in the back of my head.' I'm an Ed Sheeran lookalike and the similarities are so crazy that even my daughter can't tell the difference between us Fortunately a man in the crowd stepped in and pulled them off him and helped get Ty to safety. Ty believes he was picked on out of jealousy, telling us: 'As I was going through the crowd, people were stopping me and taking videos and photos. 'And then these guys have probably noticed it from the side which I've not even noticed, and then shoved me out, probably jealousy, because they're trying to show off in front of the girls.' The attack, which Ty says was 'very traumatic', left him with a broken nose, black eyes and concussion. 7 Ty was left with two black eyes and a broken nose 7 Ty was worried his career as an Ed lookalike would be over Credit: tiktok/ 7 Ty has said in the past that even his daughter can't tell the difference Credit: tiktok/ 7 Ed and Ty are both also the same height But the psychological damage cuts much deeper, with Ty telling us it brought back terrible memories of being bullied at school for his red hair. ' I broke down because it felt like I was a kid again, being bullied like I used to get it back in high school and stuff. So it really touched the nerve, and brought back a lot of trauma,' he says. One of Ty's biggest concerns was if he would be able to work again - he has been a full time Ed impersonator since the musician burst on the scene. He's now not sure what the future holds as he struggles to come to terms with what happened. 'It was a terrifying, horrible experience, it really was, " he tells us. 'It scared me quite a lot to the point where it's still terrifying, going out and, doing a gig? I don't think I could do it the same again, because of the anxiety that I feel like what's around the next corner.' Greater Manchester police are appealing for witnesses, they said: 'Officers are investigating reports of an assault at Parklife Festival on Sunday 15 June. 'No arrests have been made and enquires are ongoing. 'Anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has any mobile phone footage is urged to contact police on 101, quoting the log number 2255 of 15/06/2025.'
