Popular DJ to perform two-hour set in Carlisle venue next week

A chart-topping DJ is set to perform a two-hour set in Carlisle next week. Dave Lee, who released music under various pseudonyms, will play at The Brickyard on Friday, July 4. He is best known for his 2001 hit, 'American Dream,' which he released under Jakatta. His sound is varied, but a typical Dave Lee song will see influences and blends of disco, house, funk, and soul. Much of his work has shaped what has become modern EDM. Those who may be unfamiliar with his original production might know some of his remix work, particularly for major artists like Diana Ross, Masters at Work and Pet Shop Boys.
