Miley Cyrus Debuts One Of Her Most Famous Songs
Miley Cyrus's 'Party in the U.S.A.' debuts at No. 47 on Billboard's Streaming Songs chart and ... More returns to the Billboard Global 200 following July 4 celebrations. WEST HOLLYWOOD, CALIFORNIA - MARCH 09: Miley Cyrus attends the Versace FW23 Show at Pacific Design Center on March 09, 2023 in West Hollywood, California. (Photo by) It was only a few weeks ago that Miley Cyrus released her new album, Something Beautiful. The set arrived after months of promotion and quite a bit of anticipation, but sadly, the project underperformed. The full-length only spent two weeks on the Billboard 200, and none of the songs featured on its tracklist are present on any Billboard tally anymore. While Americans may have moved on from Cyrus's latest, one of her early career wins is back, so there's obviously still a lot of love for her and her music. 'Party in the U.S.A.' Debuts on the Streaming Chart Millions of people pressed play on 'Party in the U.S.A.' in America in early July, and as a result, the tune finally debuts on one of Billboard's most competitive tallies. The timely cut enters the Streaming Songs chart this week. That ranking details the 50 most-streamed tunes across platforms in the U.S., regardless of language or genre. Despite its popularity for well over a decade, 'Party in the U.S.A.' has never managed to appear on the list, but now, it opens at No. 47. Miley's First Hit Since 'II Most Wanted' with Beyoncé Throughout her years in the spotlight, Cyrus has sent 18 tunes to the Streaming Songs chart. Shockingly, none of the tracks featured on Something Beautiful made it to the list. The last time Cyrus earned a new win came in April of last year, when she joined Beyoncé on 'II Most Wanted.' That collaboration peaked at No. 4 and remains one of her biggest successes on the tally. A Fourth of July Classic 'Party in the U.S.A.' becomes a hit every year around the Fourth of July, as it's one of a select group of tunes associated with the holiday. As a result, it ends up on playlists and in the minds and ears of people all across the country. It's surprising that it took so many years for the upbeat cut to become a Streaming Songs win, especially considering the fact that the tune peaked at No. 2 on the Hot 100 more than a decade ago and has already been certified 15-times platinum after moving 15 million units in the U.S. Miley Cyrus Scores Multiple Global Wins 'Party in the U.S.A.' also manages to reappear on the Billboard Global 200 this week, and it almost matches its all-time peak. Cyrus's cut reenters that global tally at No. 113. In the past, it has climbed as high as No. 111. The Grammy winner claims a pair of successes on the list, as 'Flowers' grows two spaces to No. 155, while also sitting at No. 145 on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S.

Miley Cyrus Makes History As She Ties Katy Perry And The Weeknd
Miley Cyrus's 'Party in the U.S.A.' is now 15-times platinum, tying it as the tenth-highest ... More certified song in U.S. history just in time for the Fourth of July. SAO PAULO, BRAZIL - MARCH 26: Miley Cyrus performs live on stage during day two of Lollapalooza Brazil Music Festival at Interlagos Racetrack on March 26, 2022 in Sao Paulo, Brazil. (Photo by) Miley Cyrus's latest era didn't go as well as she and her team had hoped. Just weeks after launching her brand new album Something Beautiful, the project has disappeared from the Billboard charts. Despite the lackluster reception of her most recent full-length, Cyrus remains one of the most famous names in pop music. The American public still adores many songs and albums in her catalog — including one that becomes a hint every year as America celebrates its birthday. 'Party in the U.S.A.' Goes 15-Times Platinum On July 4, Cyrus's 'Party in the U.S.A.' earned a new platinum certification from the RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America). The tune advanced to 15-times platinum status, which means that between pure purchases and streaming activity, the beloved cut has now shifted 15 million equivalent units in the United States alone. Miley Cyrus Ties The Weeknd, Katy Perry and Travis Scott 'Party in the U.S.A.' last earned a certification almost exactly a year ago, on July 1, 2024, when it reached 14-times platinum. With one more platinum plaque added to its growing count, 'Party in the U.S.A.' now ties with seven other tracks as the tenth-highest certified song in U.S. history. With 15 million certified units moved, 'Party in the U.S.A.' is now on the same level as 'Take Me to Church' by Hozier, 'Roar' by Katy Perry, 'Royals' by Lorde, 'I Gotta Feeling' by The Black Eyed Peas, 'Closer' by The Chainsmokers, 'Starboy' by The Weeknd and Daft Punk, and 'Sicko Mode' by Travis Scott and Drake. Post Malone and Swae Lee Still Rule The title of the highest-certified tune ever still belongs to 'Sunflower,' credited jointly to both Post Malone and Swae Lee. That track became the first double diamond hit in February 2024, which means it has moved 20 million equivalent copies. Just ahead of 'Party in the U.S.A.' are 'Thinking Out Loud' by Ed Sheeran and 'Don't Stop Believin'' by Journey at 18-times platinum; 'Tennessee Whiskey' by Chris Stapleton, 'Radioactive' by Imagine Dragons, and 'Old Town Road' by Lil Nas X and Billy Ray Cyrus at 17-times platinum; and 'God's Plan' by Drake, 'All I Want for Christmas Is You' by Mariah Carey, and 'Goosebumps' by Travis Scott, which all sit just one million units ahead of Cyrus's most successful track. Miley Cyrus May Score New Diamond Singles Soon 'Party in the U.S.A.' remains Cyrus's only diamond-certified single in the U.S., but that might not be the case for long. 'Wrecking Ball' moved up to nine-times platinum in September 2023, so it's only a matter of time before it reaches 10 million units. Fellow smashes like 'We Can't Stop,' 'The Climb,' and 'Flowers' are only a few million units behind and will also likely join 'Party in the U.S.A.' in diamond territory.

JoJo Siwa and Kath Ebbs' relationship We look back at JoJo Siwa's romance with Kath Ebbs: JoJo Siwa went public with hers and Kath Ebbs' relationship in January 2025. The Dance Moms star had been introduced to 27-year-old Australian content creator Kath by a mutual friend called G-Flip six months earlier. JoJo had split with her girlfriend Dakayla Wilson in November 2024 and it is believed she hooked up romantically with Kath soon after. Speaking in March at the 36th Annual GLAAD Media Awards, JoJo said of her relationship: 'I am so happy. I am in a very mature relationship, and it's beautiful. It's taught me so much about life. She added: "I do live this very, very big public life that has so many eyeballs on it, and it can get really hard to navigate. "But I'm also living a human life. You can't help who you love." The term queer is defined by LGBTQ charity Stonewall as "a term used by those wanting to reject specific labels of sexual orientation and/or gender identity".
