In a shocking revelation, Neha, widely known as "Neha Kinnar" in Bhopal, was discovered to be Abdul Kalam, a Bangladeshi man who falsely posed as a transgender woman and lived illegally in India for nearly 30 years. His disguise was exposed after Bhopal police arrested him based on credible information received from a confidential informant. According to a report by Dainik Jagran, Kalam confessed during interrogation that he had entered India illegally at the age of 10, initially residing in Mumbai before relocating to Bhopal. He revealed that he had been living in India for about 28 years. During his stay in India, Kalam obtained forged documents, including an Aadhaar card, ration card, and an Indian passport through an agent, as reported by Dainik Jagran. Using these fraudulent documents, he reportedly traveled abroad, including to Bangladesh, and frequently changed residences within Bhopal's Budhwara area. A 17-year-old girl from Bangladesh was rescued from Pune on Friday who was sold to prostitution racketeers in Bengaluru and Pune. Police have arrested two persons, including a 22-year-old agent from Karnataka and a 25-year-old woman, cousin of the victim. The minor was lured to India for a beauty parlour job. Police have booked the two accused persons under Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) sections 142, 143(2), 118(1), 115(2), 3(5), sections of the Prevention of Immoral Trafficking Act, Prevention of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, Passport Act and the Foreigners Act. As per the police, the minor entered India with the help of her cousin by allegedly crossing the international border in West Bengal earlier this week. After which she was sold to sex racketeers in Bengaluru. Later she was taken to Pune with the help of an agent and was also physically assaulted when she refused to cooperate. The police was contacted for help after activists of a social organization found out about the minor. A search operation was then conducted by a police team. Fake documents case: Aluva court issues proclamation notice against Iranian national
KOCHI: The Judicial First Class Magistrate Court in Aluva has issued a proclamation notice against an Iranian national caught attempting to travel to London using fake documents in 2004. 42-year-old Ali Rostamli Esmaeil is a native of Tabriz, Iran. Ali was intercepted at Kochi's Nedumbassery airport on March 12, 2004, while trying to fly to London. He was subsequently arrested following a case registered at the Chengamanad police station, under various sections of the Indian Penal Code, the Passport Act, and the Foreigners Act. However, after being released on bail, Ali absconded and has remained untraceable. The Ernakulam unit of the Crime Branch is currently investigating the case, and a chargesheet has already been filed in court. As Ali failed to appear for a trial, the court has now issued a proclamation under Section 82 of the Criminal Procedure Code, directing him to reappear in connection with the case (CC 754/25). Authorities have urged the public to share any information regarding Ali's whereabouts with the Crime Branch Inspector at 9497987292. Earlier in February, the court had issued similar proclamations against 17 foreign nationals -- hailing from Sri Lanka, Nepal, France, Iran, and Russia. They had also been arrested for attempting to travel abroad using fake documents from Nedumbassery airport.
