EA FC 25 Greats of the Game Team 1 and how Icon and Hero upgrades work
Another live promo surrounding Women's Euro 2025 is now available in EA FC 25 Ultimate Team packs. After two weeks of the Path to Glory promo, EA Sports has released the EA FC 25 Greats of the Game (GOTG) Team 1 squad in Ultimate Team packs. EA Sports has gone all-out with its Women's Euro 2025 content in EA FC 25 Ultimate Team over the last few weeks, with a Path to Glory Team 1 and Path to Glory Team 2 squad joining the Shapeshifters promo in packs. But now, the Path to Glory promo has been replaced, with the EA FC 25 GOTG promo taking its place alongside another new promo, Futties Team 1. GOTG made its debut as an Ultimate Team promo in EA FC 24, with EA releasing a GOTG Team 1 and GOTG Team 2 squad. The promo features only Icons and Heroes, and this time, the EA FC 25 GOTG Team 1 squad features only women Icons and Heroes, with these items able to earn upgrades based on the player's respective nation's performances at Euro 2025. The only flaw of the promo? There are no Spanish women Icons or Heroes in EA FC 25, and with Spain the favourites to win Euro 2025, we could see all of the EA FC 25 GOTG items miss out on one of the available upgrades. The EA FC 25 GOTG Team 1 squad is now available in Ultimate Team packs and will be available until Friday, July 18 at 10am PDT / 1pm EDT/ 6pm BST. Here are the upgrades available to earn: Nation scores three or more goals: +1 OVR Nation wins Euro 2025: 99 OVR & +1 PlayStyle Plus Kelly Smith is the only women's Icon who isn't included in the GOTG squad, so the English striker could likely be released as an SBC down the line. Likely, this promo will only remain in packs for one week, so if you want one, you'd better hope you pack one soon!

EA FC 25 Path to Glory Team 2 squad confirmed as huge Euro 2025 players included
The EA FC 25 Path to Glory Team 2 squad is now available in Ultimate Team, featuring live player items based on Euro 2025. EA Sports is keeping players entertained in Ultimate Team this week, with the EA FC 25 Path to Glory Team 2 squad joining Shapeshifters Team 4 in packs. Euro 2025 has officially kicked off, and to celebrate the biggest competition in the women's football calendar this year, EA Sports has released a Euro 2025-themed EA FC 25 Path to Glory Team 2 squad into Ultimate Team. After a strong start with the Team 1 release last week, the EA FC 25 Path to Glory Team 2 squad features some big names, including the likes of Patri Guijarro, Ewa Pajor, and Lauren Hemp. The Path to Glory Team 2 squad features players who will be playing in Euro 2025, with each player able to earn upgrades over the next few weeks based on their respective nations' performances.
