Ashish Dixit and Shweta Kanoje renew wedding vows

Ashish Dixit, lead actor of 'Pati Brahmachari,' and his wife Shweta Kanoje reaffirmed their commitment in a Trimbakeshwar ceremony, fulfilling a promise made during their dating years Ashish Dixit , who plays the lead in the TV show Pati Brahmachari, recently renewed his wedding vows with wife Shweta Kanoje. The couple, who tied the knot in 2019, had a small ceremony in Trimbakeshwar, fulfilling a promise they made to each other years ago. Ashish shares, 'When Shweta and I were dating in 2016, we had promised each other that we would get married at a religious place. Unfortunately, that didn't happen then and it always remained at the back of our minds. So last month, we went to Trimbakeshwar, got the necessary permissions and went ahead. Our parents were present for the ceremony, but what made it even more special was that our two-year-old daughter was with us. It felt beautiful and all the memories of our wedding day came back to us.' 'Now I'm focused on balancing my personal and professional life Incidentally, a few years ago, there were rumours of trouble in their marriage. Ashish says, 'In the past few years, I couldn't focus enough on my personal life due to work. I used to be away from home for months, shooting for web shows, and during that time, Shweta went back to her hometown, Nagpur, so people assumed things. But we were always together. Getting married again has brought us even closer, and now I'm making sure I strike the right balance between my personal and professional life. '

Exclusive- Actor Ashish Dixit and wife Shweta Kanoje remarry in Trimbakeshwar after 6 years, says 'it's like falling in love all over again'

TV celeb Ashish Dixit , currently winning hearts in the TV show Pati Brahmachari, just had a filmy moment in real life! Six years after their big fat Indian wedding, Ashish and his wife Shweta Kanoje got remarried, this time in an intimate spiritual ceremony at the holy Trimbakeshwar temple, fulfilling a long-standing promise. Ashish said, "I had promised Shweta that I would fill her maang with sindoor at Trimbakeshwar,' said Ashish, overwhelmed with emotion. 'This wasn't just a wedding — it felt like a rebirth of our love. I want our bond to remain eternal and never fade." Despite his hectic shooting schedule, Ashish made time for this deeply personal moment, proving that when love is true, no commitment is too big and no promise too old. The couple chose the exact same time as their original wedding — 1:30 PM, on an auspicious Tuesday — and followed traditional Maharashtrian rituals for the ceremony. They even got decked up like a proper dulha and dulhan, complete with the traditional Mundavalya (the sacred forehead thread) tied across their heads, recreating their wedding look down to the tiniest detail. Afterwards, they sought blessings from Lord Shiva, finally fulfilling the vow they had made to each other years ago. 'It honestly feels like we just got married,' Ashish added with a smile. 'We're giggling, stealing glances, getting shy — it's like falling in love all over again.' by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like 2025 年最紓壓的農場遊戲!無需安裝 東加:島嶼農場 立即播放 Undo Earlier, Ashish said, 'Indian television has long relied on physicality to sell romance,' says Dixit. 'But this show dares to do something different. It explores whether two people can fall in love without ever touching—that's what drew me in.'

Puja Sharma and Ashish Dixit open up about their emotional bond with their dads this Father's Day

This Father's Day, beloved television actors are getting candid and emotional as they open up about the men who shaped their lives behind the scenes. Whether still by their side or lost too soon, their fathers continue to be their compass — guiding, inspiring, and silently cheering them on through every chapter of their journey. For Puja Sharma , who made a powerful comeback to the screen after seven years with Jhanak as the fierce tribal woman Kanak, the day holds deeply personal meaning. More than a celebration, it's a tribute to a father she lost too soon, yet always felt connected to. 'I lost my father when I was just two years old, but his presence has always stayed with me,' she shares. 'He was a visionary — a respected businessman and civil contractor with CCL — and a generous soul who helped build schools and uplift communities across Bihar and Jharkhand. Even today, strangers approach me with stories of his kindness and humility.' She continues with emotion, 'Growing up, people often said, 'You're just like your father.' That always meant the world to me. Though I never knew him personally, I feel his spirit in my values, in my work, and in the way I try to treat people. He was a man of integrity, simplicity, and immense heart — if I can carry even a fraction of that forward, I know I'm honouring him.' by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Play Chess on Your PC, Free Play Classic Chess Install Now Undo Meanwhile, Ashish Dixit , who currently headlines with hit show Pati Brahmachari, reflected on the quiet strength and constant presence of his father in his life and career. 'My father is the kind of man who never had to say much — his actions, his resilience, and his silent belief in me always spoke louder than words. From the moment I chose to pursue acting, he's been my rock. Even when the path was uncertain, he never let me lose faith.' He recalls a moment that's etched in his heart, 'I still remember how his eyes lit up when he saw my first scene on television. That moment wasn't just mine — it was his too. Every audition I cracked, every challenge I faced, I did it knowing his faith in me was unwavering. Today, when he says he's proud or encourages me to take on more diverse roles, it feels like a full-circle moment. So much of who I am — and how far I've come — is because of him. ' For both actors, Father's Day is not just a date on the calendar — it's a reminder of the love, strength, and legacy that continues to shape them every single day. Khanna expresses his happiness about returning to TV and reuniting with the team from his previous show, Dhruv Tara. Actor Worship Khanna is all set to return to television with Pati Brahmachari after he was last seen in the show Dhruv Tara , and he's excited about getting back on TV. ' Talking about his role further, he says, 'The brother's duo is a good one. Puran is from a lower-middle-class family, living in a chawl, but he's full of life. But I am happy to be working with the same team behind my last show, Dhruv Tara. They've always believed in me, and I am thankful for it. Working with them is like working with family." While he was away from TV, the actor was focusing on looking for exciting projects on web and music videos. He says, "Every platform and medium has it's own pros and cons and i feel that as far as the role is interesting, I don't mind to take it up for whichver medium."
