The Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue fan-favorite recently got candid about her journey with aging when she dropped a set of refreshingly relatable bikini pics on social media. In a July 28 Instagram post, Paulina included two unretouched photos that showcased how different settings can impact her appearance online and in real life. 'This is me. Vacation, pretty light, posing for a shot,' she wrote along with the first photo, where she's smiling in a white-and-metallic-gold string bikini. Then she shared a makeup-free mirror selfie, taken with overhead bathroom lighting. 'This is also me. Home, not great light, not posing,' she added. 'This is 60.' She went on to write, 'This is 60 years of sometimes healthy eating, sometimes not. 60 years of sometimes working out, sometimes not. 60 years of doing the right things followed by doing the wrong things and over again and again.' The 26-time Cosmopolitan cover girl added, 'It's 60 years of learning of what works and what doesn't. And just as I think I've figured it out, everything changes and I have to start again. The beauty of 60 is that now I understand the importance is IN the lesson, not passing the exam.' Following her social post, Paulina included a slew of hashtags, including #betweenjloandbettywhite, #thisis60, #bikini, #nomakeup, #nofilter, and #keepinitreal. So true, queen. Naturally, her vulnerable revelation received love in her comments section. Some commended her for sharing her thoughts, with one fan writing, 'Words can't express how thankful I am for women like you, Paulina. Keeping it real. You are beautiful inside and out. Age is just a number. I wish more women felt beautiful in their own skin. ❤️❤️' Fellow supermodel Linda Evangelista threw in a praising hands emoji while Charmed star Alyssa Milano added, 'The most beautiful at any age and in any light.' This isn't the first time Paulina has used her platform to spread a positive message around aging. During a January appearance on The Today Show, Paulina said, 'We're so terrified of wrinkles because I suppose wrinkles make us no longer relevant, no longer sexy, no longer desirable, and as women, that has been sort of our calling card. It's tagged with us for such a long time.' She continued, 'And I keep looking at wrinkles, mine, yours, any woman that I see, and I think, 'It's your map of life.' I see how you are as a person. Abandoned hotel where beds made and food is still on tables
A creepy hotel was discovered by a woman in Bali - and it looks as if it was abandoned in a hurry by staff and guests as there is still food on plates and beds made up A deserted and creepy hotel in Bali has gone viral online after a woman shared videos of the abandoned resort online. It looks as if it was quickly evacuated in its heyday, as it even has meals still on plates and beds made up in a number of the rooms. Graphic designer Paulina Andriulyte found the hotel while working remotely on the island, and took to TikTok under the name @padesignstudio to share her discovery, which has had nearly 30 million views altogether. She explored the empty hotel, with 266 rooms left almost pristine, and revealed the scary abandoned site. "Abandoned places have intrigued me since I was a child and that hasn't changed at all," Paulina said. It's believed the hotel was evacuated in 2020, but no one knows why. Paulina added: 'There's something magical about these places I can't explain, it's like entering another world. We just love going where the eyes lead without any expectations. In that way, we find the most spectacular places which are untouched by mass tourism." After doing some digging, Paulina found the last reviews of the hotel were written in 2020, so assumed it was around then the vast exit was made. "The place was completely open, there were no signs of the closure, no fence, or anything like that. "If anything, in the beginning, we thought it was a functioning hotel, as we noticed two helmets placed on the ground by the reception, so thought that someone is still in the hotel." The footage shows different areas of the venue including the entrance, which has been taken over by nature, as well as various rooms, dining spaces and trinkets that Paulina discovered. She also found rooms that were made up for the guests - who never arrived, finished off with towels, leaflets and toilet roll in position. The food still on the table and half-eaten plates and documents in the room further highlighted the hotel's former runnings, which makes it even eerier. She said: "The moment we entered the reception, we still couldn't understand where is everyone and that this was an abandoned place. It felt like everyone was here a few hours ago and just left somewhere.' While it looks like it is still a running hotel, it's clear it's abandoned due to the mould growing on the walls and it's now become a home to lots of wildlife - living the life of luxury. Paulina recalled: "There were a lot of huge insects and reptiles everywhere in the hotel. Mould damaged the walls and ceilings and some corridor ceilings had completely collapsed from the mould and humidity. "However, we didn't notice any vandalism damage, it seems like it's all just natural decay." TikTok users have been left stunned by her videos, with one racking up over 2 million likes alone. "Those rooms are cleaner than mine," joked one viewer, while another assumed the hotel closure was due to the pandemic and said: 'I think the lockdown started and the hotel closed shortly after so the people who work there left without knowing that they would never be back." Although a third jibed: "I see a lot of free stuff."

Paulina (Jackée Harry) had just delivered a motherly pep talk to Chanel (Raven Bowens) about the possibility of new evidence coming through that could clear Johnny's (Carson Boatman) name and identify a new suspect when she received word that the memory card finally yielded exactly that…only it's not at all what Paulina was hoping for. Chanel has been furious at her mother for her role in arresting Johnny for EJ's (Dan Feuerriegel) shooting. Things have calmed down a bit, especially after Paulina was able to help expedite the hearing so Johnny could go home instead of staying in jail overnight. However, Chanel is still unhappy that her mother has been prioritizing her role as mayor and her obligations as mayor, instead of being a concerned and protective mother and mother-in-law. However, the memory card shows that Chanel was also at the DiMera mansion before EJ was shot, and she threatened him. Her arrival seems to follow Johnny's, which would likely clear him from the crime and implicate her, as (so far) she seems to be the last one to be with EJ before he's shot. Paulina made sure she was at the station when Chanel arrived, and she insisted that Chanel needed a lawyer before she gave a statement to Jada (Elia Cantu). Paulina had been able to help Johnny get a speedy hearing so he could go home on bail, but since Chanel isn't being arrested (yet), there's not much she can do to help her daughter, aside from protecting her interests while she's under investigation. We know from past experiences that Paulina has been willing to do whatever it takes to protect her daughter, even when things look bleak. In this situation, it doesn't help that Johnny's father, who was also the victim of the shooting, is also Johnny's lawyer. EJ wants to see his son's name cleared, and we can imagine that he'd be willing to throw Chanel under the bus to get what he wants, even though he'd be risking immense pain for his son in doing so. At this point, we imagine Paulina will be trying to keep Jada from arresting Chanel so that Chanel stays out of jail. She can only hope that no new evidence arrives that makes this situation any worse than it already is. Days of Our Lives streams weekdays on Peacock.
