Cause of Shefali Jariwala's death not clear: Mumbai Police
Mumbai Police on Saturday shared an official statement after the death of actor Shefali Jariwala. While speaking to the media, the police clarified that they are still investigating the case and trying to ascertain the cause of her death. Various reports earlier suggested that the 42-year-old died after suffering a cardiac arrest.A Mumbai Police official told news agency ANI on Saturday morning that Jariwala was found dead at her apartment on Friday night. "Her body was found at her residence in the Andheri area. Mumbai Police received information about this at 1 am. Her body has been sent to Cooper Hospital for postmortem. The cause of death is not yet clear," the police team of foresic experts was also seen entering her residence once the police was informed. Jariwala was taken to a hospital by her husband, actor Parag Tyagi, where the doctors declared her dead. Her body was later sent to Cooper Hospital for postmortem.A visual of Tyagi from outside the Cooper Hospital was obtained by the media. The actor could be seen leaving the hospital in a car. Jariwala's family and hospital are yet to release an official statement about her death. In her last post on social media, the actor shared a tribute to the late actor and her ex-boyfriend, Sidharth Shukla, who died of a heart attack in was a popular figure in the Hindi television industry. She participated in the Salman Khan-hosted reality show 'Bigg Boss 13'.
