Retired paramedical officer in Guntur compiles English-Telugu medical dictionary
Peddi Sambasiva Rao, a retired paramedical officer in Guntur, has compiled a English-Telugu medical dictionary of about 700 pages. The bilingual dictionary was compiled with an aim to bridge the gap between English medical terminology and its Telugu equivalent, offering clear and accessible explanations, observed Union Minister of State for Rural Development and Communications Dr. Pemmasani Chandra Sekhar, in his foreword published in the dictionary. Mr. Sambasiva Rao said that he has so far brought out nearly 50 dictionaries. His first work, Sanskrit-Telugu dictionary, was published by Visalandra Publishers.
