Report: Chad Gable Injury Update

It looks like the injury keeping Chad Gable sidelined is more serious than some thought. Earlier this week, Cory Hays reported that Chad Gable is currently dealing with 'an undisclosed injury.' It was also noted that this is likely why Penta attacked Gable on Monday's episode of WWE RAW. On RAW, Gable was backstage with Ivy Nile when Penta approached. Gable concluded their 'lesson' and went to mock Penta, who just had a match with Bron Breakker. Gable teased finishing the job Breakker started, but Penta took exception to Gable repeatedly poking him in the chest. Penta superkicked Gable and screamed, 'I told you, Cero Miedo' before snapping Gable's left arm back. It was noted that Penta's attack allowed Gable to be written off of television, 'or reduce his workload temporarily while he recovers.' The exact nature of the injury was unknown, but it was significant enough to require WWE to change plans. Now, is reporting that Gable is set to have surgery for the undisclosed injury. Gable will have surgery in 'early July' to repair it. It's unclear when Gable will return to WWE TV. Fightful (via Fightful Select) also learned of a similar injury, as it appears El Grande Americano suffered a similar injury to Gable. However, it's a 'total coincidence' that two completely different people got the same injury in the same way. ? Chad Gable's last match in WWE (as Chad Gable) was a loss to AJ Styles on the June 9 episode of WWE RAW. 'El Grande Americano' had his last match on June 18, a Speed Championship match win over Berto. Check out everything that went down on this week's episode of WWE RAW here. Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. On Monday Night RAW, general manager Adam Pearce informed AJ Styles that Intercontinental Champion "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio was injured and their match for the title at Night of Champions was officially canceled. This news is particularly surprising since Mysterio hasn't wrestled in a match since the June 9 episode of Raw and has been featured on television since then. It remains to be seen if this is a legitimate injury or is simply a kayfabe reason for Mysterio to miss the event. WWE Money In The Bank 2025 Results As Seth Rollins Wins Men's Ladder Match

More Images) WWE Money in the Bank 2025 had one overwhelming favorite in the men's match, and as it turns out, Seth Rollins was the favorite for a reason. En route to WWE's latest pay-per-view, the company assembled one of the most unique MITB fields in recent memory: Andrade, El Grande Americano, LA Knight, Penta, Rollins and Solo Sikoa. In the show's semi-main event, a slew of superstars not even in the match, including Bronson Reed, Jacob Fatu and Bron Breakker, showed up in an attempt to help their stables win the briefcase. Once the dust settled, however, one man was able to leave the Intuit Dome as the winner of the 2025 WWE Money in the Bank match and with that a guaranteed future world title match. WWE went the most obvious route with the 2025 men's Money in the Bank match winner: Seth Rollins. The clear betting favorite and the logical one, too, Rollins left the Intuit Dome with the Money in the Bank briefcase after a chaotic, interference-filled men's MITB match. Just as Naomi's victory was widely expected, so was Rollins, the lone star in the bout who is consistently pushed as a main eventer. Some of the key highlights of the men's ladder match were: While Fatu's betrayal of Sikoa stole the show, that major moment was also, well, obviously coming. WWE had teased for weeks upon weeks that Fatu, one of the company's fastest rising stars, would turn babyface in the near future. As it turns out, WWE finally pulled the trigger at Money in the Bank 2025, and Fatu's interference played a big role in Rollins capitalizing for the win. That could be seen from a mile away, with reports emerging that Rollins would likely win the match and earn a guaranteed world title shot. Looking at the other competitors in the match, Rollins quite clearly had the best shot at becoming world champion over the past year. The only question entering Money in the Bank was: is Rollins winning too obvious? Maybe, maybe not. But even if it was, WWE stuck to its guns and gave Rollins a second briefcase win at Money in the Bank 2025, and don't be surpised if he's world champion sooner rather than later.

WWE Money in the Bank winners: What's inside the briefcase and what did Seth Rollins take home?

The WWE Money in the Bank 2025 on Saturday at the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles, saw Seth Rollins, Solo Sikoa, LA Knight, Andrade, Penta, and El Grande Americano battle in a high-stakes men's ladder match for the coveted briefcase. This iconic match, a highlight of WWE's 'Big Five' events, featured six superstars climbing ladders to retrieve a briefcase containing a contract that guarantees a championship match of the winner's choosing within one year. Seth Rollins emerged victorious and took the briefcase home. The Money in the Bank briefcase holds a contract granting the winner a title shot for any WWE championship—typically the WWE Championship or World Heavyweight Championship, but also potentially secondary titles like the Intercontinental or United States Championship—at any time and place within 365 days. Austin Theory cashed in on Seth Rollins for the Intercontinental Championship in 2022. In kayfabe (WWE's scripted narrative), the briefcase contains a physical contract document, as confirmed by 2023 winner Damian Priest in an interview with Chris Van Vliet. Priest noted, 'There was a contract,' dispelling myths of other items like props or gimmicks inside. The briefcase itself is a metallic case, suspended 20 feet above the ring, designed to withstand the match's chaos. The contract's flexibility makes it a game-changer. Winners can cash in immediately or hold it for months. Seth Rollins emerged victorious in a 33:45 men's Money in the Bank ladder match, outlasting Solo Sikoa, LA Knight, Andrade, Penta, and El Grande Americano to claim the coveted briefcase containing a championship contract. The match erupted with Rollins targeting Sikoa, only to be pursued up a ladder by El Grande Americano, who applied an ankle lock. Andrade and Penta intervened, with Andrade hitting Americano with a sunset flip powerbomb and Penta shoving Rollins ladder-to-ladder. As Penta and Andrade scaled a ladder, Andrade deceived Penta into grabbing for the briefcase before attacking. Their clash peaked when Penta delivered a Mexican Destroyer onto a ladder bridged between another ladder and the turnbuckle, drawing 'Zero Miedo' chants. Sikoa, recovering, mocked and assaulted Penta, but LA Knight cut him off, setting up a massive ladder between the barricade and apron. After a Penta-Knight exchange, Americano unleashed a flurry of German suplexes, sending Rollins crashing into the ladder. Americano then retrieved a Fireball-branded ladder, using it to helicopter and clear the field. He climbed the towering Fireball ladder but was toppled by Penta, who battled Rollins near the top. Meanwhile, Americano slipped a steel plate into his mask. Penta knocked Rollins off, and Americano executed a stunning sequence, sprinting from the floor to the ladder's peak to headbutt Penta. Knight countered with a devastating sidewalk slam off the ladder onto the mat. Rollins, briefly unchallenged, ascended, but chaos erupted as all competitors vied for the briefcase. With Andrade, Knight, and Penta entangled, Rollins and Paul Heyman signaled for Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed, who stormed the ring, demolishing opponents. Fatu aided Sikoa back to the ring, setting up a ladder, but betrayed him, shouting, 'I hate you!' before delivering a superkick, moonsault, and uranage through a ladder. Rollins, seizing the moment, grabbed another Fireball ladder, set it up, and climbed. Knight interrupted, but Rollins retaliated with a stomp, clearing his path to unhook the briefcase.
