Peruvian MPs Explore Development Progress in Dakhla Oued-Eddahab
A Peruvian parliamentary delegation paid a visit to Dakhla on Tuesday to learn about the development momentum in the region across various areas. The visit of the Peruvian delegation, led by the Speaker of Peruvian Congress Eduardo Salhuana Cavides, was an opportunity to discover the region's potential and infrastructure in various economic and social sectors. In a statement to the press, Salhuana Cavides said that the visit to Dakhla was part of a business trip to Morocco (from June, 29 to July, 6), aimed at sharing experiences, particularly in legislative matters and public affairs management, praising the institutional, political, and economic stability the Kingdom enjoys under HM King Mohammed VI's wise leadership. "We had the opportunity to witness firsthand the large-scale projects, particularly in infrastructure and road networks, designed to drive Morocco's development and prosperity as the country prepares to co-host the 2030 World Cup and continues to strengthen its prominent position on the international stage." Regarding the Kingdom's territorial integrity, Salhuana Cavides recalled that the Peruvian Parliament adopted, at the beginning of last month by a majority of MPs, a petition addressed to the government in support of Morocco's sovereignty over its Sahara and its autonomy plan. "Peruvian MPs consider the Moroccan autonomy plan as a solution for a definitive settlement of the long-runnin, artificial dispute," he stated. MAP: 02 July 2025

Arsenal given fresh Viktor Gyokeres boost as striker sends goodbye message
With Viktor Gyokeres seemingly closing in on a move to Arsenal, Sporting CP are planning for the future, with at least one talented young marksman on his way to Lisbon Sporting CP appear to be preparing for life without Arsenal target Viktor Gyokeres as they close in on a talented young striker. Gyokeres is reportedly in advanced talks with the Gunners, who are desperate to land a top-class number nine. A five-year contract is said to have been agreed. The Swedish forward now appears to be Arsenal 's top priority, with a move for RB Leipzig's Benjamin Sesko on the backburner. Manchester United, whose head coach Ruben Amorim managed the Swedish forward at Sporting, have also been in the frame to land the former Coventry City ace, who has scored 97 goals in 102 games since signing for the Portuguese side in 2023. Sporting president Frederico Varandas admitted at the weekend that there is a "strong likelihood" Gyokeres will leave the club this summer and reiterated that the club will not hold out for the 26-year-old's release fee, believed to be almost £85million. However, there are claims that Gyokeres has been unhappy with Sporting's financial demands. With a potentially big hole to fill in their attack, Sporting have been proactive by moving for Peruvian hotshot Victor Guzman from Alianza Lima. Speaking after Alianza B team's recent victory over Universitario Deportes, the 19-year-old expressed his excitement about the impending transfer. Per A Bola, he said: "I am very happy and excited about what lies ahead, and I will continue to work as I have done so far. 'Sporting is a historic club in Portugal, and it is Cristiano Ronaldo 's club. I don't have the exact day of my trip to Portugal, but it's next week.' Paying tribute to Alianza, he added: 'I'm very thankful to Alianza. It's a very nice thing for me to have shared all this time with them. They're great people and I know they'll take this club forward.' Guzman, who has reportedly signed a three-year contract, has been signed with one eye on the future and is expected to link up with Sporting's under-23 squad initially. He isn't the only striker being targeted by Sporting, who are keen on Union Saint-Gilloise striker Franjo Ivanovic. Per Sporting have lodged a bid of around £17m, which is short of the Belgian champions' valuation of £25.6m. Besiktas and Frankfurt, plus clubs in Italy, are also said to be interested in Ivanovic, who netted 20 goals for the Belgian champions last season.

Adult film star Kylie Page found dead at 28 in Los Angeles home
Kylie Page, an American adult film actor who also featured in a Netflix series exploring the pornography industry, was found dead at her Los Angeles residence on June 25. She was 28, the New York Post reported. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner's office confirmed her death, though the cause is still under investigation. Born Kylie Pylant in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Page began her career in adult entertainment in 2016 and went on to appear in over 200 films. She gained wider attention in 2017 after being featured in Netflix's docu-series Hot Girls Wanted: Turned On, which focused on the lives of young men and women navigating the adult entertainment industry. In the show, Page candidly opened up about her experiences and struggles, including substance use. Several adult industry platforms paid tribute to the late actor. Brazzers, one of the production houses she frequently collaborated with, wrote on X (formerly Twitter), 'Kylie will be remembered for her laughter, kindness and the light she brought wherever she went. Our condolences go out to her family, friends, and fans.' Her talent agency, Hussie Models, also issued a statement mourning her loss. 'Losing Kylie is truly heartbreaking,' said agent Alex Mack. 'She was a kind soul and brought warmth and energy wherever she went.' Page's family has launched a fundraiser to cover funeral expenses and to bring her remains home to Oklahoma. 'She was a daughter who loved deeply, a sister who never let go, and a friend who always showed up,' the GoFundMe post read. Kylie Page's funeral is expected to be held in the Midwest, where she will be laid to rest surrounded by her family and loved ones. Last year, a Peruvian adult film star, Thaina Fields, was found dead at her home. The news of her sudden death came in after she made allegations about abuse in the porn industry. Fields, 24, was among the best-known adult film stars in Peru.
