'I tried Gordon Ramsay's first Europe Hell's Kitchen - here's what it's like'

Gordon Ramsay has opened his first Hell's Kitchen in Europe after two decades of the famous franchise being in the US, and I tried it out to see if it's worth the international hype. Gordon Ramsay has opened his first ever Hell's Kitchen restaurant outside of the US, with a new restaurant in none other than Ibiza, Spain. Whether he's shouting that beef is underdone or garnish isn't ready, the TV chef has some iconic lines from his long-running Hell's Kitchen series. But while chefs might be feeling the heat inside the kitchen, the restaurant experience at Gordon's newest location wasn't short of luxury. Serving up signature dishes such as the Beef Wellington and scallops, alongside new European offerings such as a mouthwatering short rib and chorizo croquette, the food doesn't disappoint. ‌ While it's not something I've seen on the show, Hell's Kitchen Ibiza offers a Basque style blueberry and blackberry cheesecake, which was a surprising highlight of the meal for me. ‌ Based inside the newly refurbished Unexpected Hotel, which was previously known as Ushuaia Beach Hotel, the restaurant has the iconic HK walkway as you enter and serves up special edition Pharrell Williams Moet champagne and cocktails. The restaurant is the newest to join the Unexpected Hotel, and is amongst others such as the Oyster and Caviar Bar, Minami Japanese Restaurant, rooftop bar Up Ibiza Sky Society and The Beach - where the breakfast buffet includes champagne and freshly made burritos. Gordon has several Hell's Kitchen locations across the US, including in Las Vegas and Washington D.C, where his iconic show of the same name has been filmed. Beginning in 2005, the restaurants serves as sets for aspiring chefs to learn from Gordon and eventually win a place working for him. You may not find Gordon shouting at his chefs if you book in for a dinner at the new Ibiza location, but there will be plenty of unexpected twists going on throughout the five-star hotel - including fortune tellers in the lobby, DJs in bedrooms and dancers abseiling down the poolside buildings. ‌ While the hotel's bedrooms are fitted out with everything you could imagine needing, including face masks, a 'maxi bar' containing snacks, drinks and large bottles of spirits, and a huge bathtub on the balcony. If you're booking the presidential suite, which I imagine Gordon will be booking out for his visits to the White Isle, there are DJ decks in living room area, alongside a sprawling patio-style balcony. Across the road from the lively hotel is iconic open-air Ibiza superclub Ushuaia, where I headed across to after my six-course Hell's Kitchen meal to dance off the lashings of food consumed at Gordon's newest spot. Whether you want to try some of Gordon's classics or you're just looking for a spirited stay in Ibiza, the Unexpected Hotel will certainly do both.

AR Rahman Teams Up with Pharrell Williams for Global Track 'Yaara' at Paris Fashion Week

AR Rahman collaborated with American musician and the Men's Creative Director for Louis Vuitton on a Punjabi track, Yaara, which was played at the Paris Fashion Week. The Oscar winner shared a video from the event on Instagram and wrote, 'It was fun working with Pharrell Williams on the track Yaara for Louis Vuitton. Tired of too many ads? go ad free now ' The video featured models walking the ramp on the upbeat track that had the audience, including celebs like Beyoncé, Jay-Z and K-pop star J-Hope, vibing to it. Talking to us about the collaboration, Rahman, who shared a picture with his son AR Ameen and Pharrell on social media, says, 'Pharrell and I have known each other since the time we both were part of Hans Zimmer's super band project. There's always been mutual respect. When this opportunity came up, we thought, why not do something that feels truly global but is rooted in something vibrant and real? That's where Yaara came in. It happened all of a sudden, and it was exciting. Bringing Romy on board, who worked with me earlier on Chamkila, was spontaneous. He wrote the lyrics quickly.' LV fashion show at Paris Fashion Week 'Borders to music have blurred, and the world just needs more unique ideas' Talking about the collab, Rahman shares, 'This collaboration was an opportunity to present our heritage on a global stage while staying true to the creative vision we were given. The borders of music have blurred a long time ago, the world just needs more cool and unique ideas. I met the legendary filmmaker Spike Lee, and we bonded over the Inside Man experience, where he fondly remembered how he had wanted Chaiyya Chaiyya, sung by Sukhwinder Singh, as the title track. And then there was J-Hope from BTS grooving to it, that was lovely to see.' Models display props with Indian elements at Paris Fashion Week 'My son Ameen is one of the main reasons I attended the event' Interestingly, this was the first time Rahman attended a fashion show. Tired of too many ads? go ad free now He said, 'My son Ameen is one of the main reasons I attended the event. This is the first fashion show I have ever attended, and it was a great start. The whole place was filled with celebrities from all over the world, some of whom I knew and some I had the pleasure of meeting for the first time.' 'A track with Indian roots, taking centre stage at the Paris Fashion Week, was special' Rahman, who has represented India on global platforms before, says that each time he does that, it feels new. 'But this one was special,' he says, adding, 'To have a track with Indian roots, taking centre stage at the Paris Fashion Week was special. It just highlights that our sounds, languages and rhythms are not only relevant, but also resonate globally. It's a celebration of identity and interconnected creativity. I'm grateful to Pharrell and the entire team for embracing that spirit.'

Pharrell Gifts Beyoncé a Louis Vuitton Handbag Straight Off Fashion Show Runway

Beyoncé and Jay-Z pulled up as special front-row guests at the Louis Vuitton spring 2026 menswear show in Paris, where Pharrell serves as the luxury fashion house's men's creative director. As Tuesday's (June 24) show wrapped up, Skateboard P greeted the couple while dropping off a gift for Beyoncé straight off the runway, as the music icon added a brown handbag to her collection before the accessory has even hit shelves. The Cowboy Carter singer sported a denim jumpsuit with a chic brown cowboy hat. As for Hov, he went with a reserved leather jacket over his white shirt and matching black pants. Pharrell showed Beyoncé a token of his appreciation, as the duo has an extensive collaborative history dating back to the early portion of her decorated career. They joined forces for Cowboy Carter's 'SWEET HONEY BUCKIIN' with Shaboozey, THE CARTERS' 'APESHIT' and 'NICE,' as well as The Lion King's 'Water.' P also helmed production on Bey tracks such as 'Kitty Kat,' 'Energy,' 'Superpower' and 'Blow.' Beyoncé stuck around for Paris Fashion Week after she performed a series of shows in the French capital. Her June 22 concert made waves when Jay-Z touched the stage as the couple performed 'Crazy in Love' for the first time in seven years. Hov kept the party going while riling up the crowd with a rendition of Watch The Throne's 'N—s in Paris.' ‘It was fun working with Pharrell on the track ‘Yaara': AR Rahman produces Punjabi music for Louis Vuitton's India-inspired show at Paris Fashion Week

At the heart of Paris, outside the striking Pompidou Centre, something unusual unfolded at the Louis Vuitton Spring/Summer 2026 menswear show. The runway became a celebration of Indian art, music, and design. Pharrell Williams, the brand's Men's Creative Director since 2023, put together a show that blended Indian tradition with global luxury. And at the center of this cultural mash-up was none other than AR Rahman, whose new upbeat Punjabi track 'Yaara' set the rhythm for the models strutting down the runway. A post shared by Louis Vuitton (@louisvuitton) 'It was fun working with Pharrell on the track 'Yaara',' Rahman said on Instagram, sharing a clip of the front row attendees, including J Hope and Beyoncé, vibing to the music. Netizens were overjoyed to see the BTS star nodding along, with one saying, 'HOBI AND ARR IN THE SAME FRAME😭😭'. Another added, 'Ok fine… now we need hobi dancing on urvasi and mukkabala.' A post shared by ARR (@arrahman) The set, imagined by renowned architect Bijoy Jain of Studio Mumbai, was literally a life-sized version of the Indian game Snakes and Ladders. Bright coloured pipes formed a bold, minimalist backdrop that brought together nostalgia and modern design. Models wore pleated trousers, striped coats, leather slippers, and even carried embroidered trunks (yes, like those sanduks you find in Indian homes). It was Indian heritage, reimagined with a Louis Vuitton twist. A post shared by Louis Vuitton (@louisvuitton) To get the details just right, Pharrell and his team had travelled across New Delhi, Mumbai and Jodhpur earlier, soaking in local fashion traditions and craftwork. The event pulled in big names too. Ishaan Khatter was spotted at the show, joining an international guest list that included Beyoncé, Jay-Z, Bradley Cooper, and Jackson Wang.
