"Safar Karo, Shoot Nahi": Delhi Metro urges commuters to avoid making reels, cites safety concerns
New Delhi [India], June 30 (ANI): The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) on Monday appealed to commuters to refrain from making social media reels inside metro premises, warning that such activities not only violate rules but also pose safety risks and inconvenience fellow passengers. 'Making reels in the metro is not just about breaking rules, it's also about disrupting others' journeys. Let's follow Delhi Metro's rules to make our travel safe,' DMRC posted on X. The advisory was issued on World Social Media Day as part of a broader awareness campaign highlighting the growing influence of social media. The DMRC's post was captioned -- 'Safar Karo, Shoot Nahi.' Earlier last week, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) achieved a significant milestone in the ongoing Phase 4 expansion by completing a major underground tunnelling task between Kishangarh and Vasant Kunj stations on the Tughlakabad-Aerocity corridor of the Golden Line. The breakthrough was achieved when a Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM) completed its journey this morning at Vasant Kunj Metro Station, having constructed a 1,550-metre-long tunnel using a 91-metre-long TBM. The DMRC took to social media to announce this development and posted, 'DMRC Completes another Major Tunnelling Milestone on Phase 4 Golden Line; Breakthrough at Vasant Kunj Metro Station. The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) today achieved a major construction milestone in Phase 4 with the completion of an underground tunnel between Kishangarh and Vasant Kunj Station on the Tughlakabad-Aerocity corridor.' According to the DMRC, this new tunnel has been constructed at an average depth of approximately 22.86 meters (minimum depth 15.48 meters and maximum depth 30.25 meters). About 1105 rings have been installed in the tunnel, with an inner diameter of 5.8 meters. The tunnel has been constructed using the proven EPBM (Earth Pressure Balancing Method) technology, featuring a concrete lining composed of precast tunnel rings. These tunnel rings were cast at a fully mechanised casting yard set up at Mundka. The concrete segments were cured with a steam curing system to achieve early strength. As part of the Phase 4 work approved so far, 40.109 kilometres of underground lines are being constructed. The Aerocity-Tughlakabad corridor has underground sections totalling 19.343 kilometres. Delhi Metro achieves another tunnelling milestone on Golden Line corridor
The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) on Wednesday achieved a key milestone in its Phase 4 expansion with the successful tunnelling of a 1.5-kilometre stretch between Kishangarh and Vasant Kunj stations on the upcoming Golden Line.A Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM), measuring 91 metres in length, made a breakthrough at the under-construction Vasant Kunj Metro Station, the DMRC said in a completed tunnel is part of the Tughlakabad-Aerocity corridor, which includes twin underground tunnels for up and down train movement, it stated. The parallel tunnel on the same stretch had already been completed in March this year, it to the DMRC, the newly constructed tunnel lies at an average depth of nearly 23 metres, with the deepest point reaching about 30 metres.A total of 1,105 concrete rings, each with an inner diameter of 5.8 metres, have been installed using the Earth Pressure Balancing Method, a widely used tunnelling technique in urban areas, it precast tunnel segments were manufactured at a dedicated casting yard in Mundka, where they were steam-cured to enhance durability and speed up construction, the statement mentioned that sensitive monitoring equipment was used to track ground movement throughout the tunnelling process, ensuring that existing buildings and structures remained Tughlakabad-Aerocity corridor features approximately 19.3 km of underground sections and forms a major part of the 40-km underground network being built under Phase 4, it added.- EndsMust Watch IN THIS STORY#Delhi#Delhi Metro

DMRC achieves major tunnelling breakthrough on Phase 4 Golden Line
New Delhi [India], June 25 (ANI): The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has achieved a significant milestone in the ongoing Phase 4 expansion by completing a major underground tunnelling task between Kishangarh and Vasant Kunj stations on the Tughlakabad-Aerocity corridor of the Golden Line. The breakthrough was achieved when a Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM) completed its journey this morning at Vasant Kunj Metro Station after constructing a 1,550-metre-long tunnel, using a 91-metre-long TBM. The DMRC took to social media to announce about this development. In a social media post on X, it stated, 'DMRC Completes another Major Tunnelling Milestone on Phase 4 Golden Line; Breakthrough at Vasant Kunj Metro Station. The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) today achieved a major construction milestone in Phase 4 with the completion of an underground tunnel between Kishangarh and Vasant Kunj Station on the Tughlakabad-Aerocity corridor.' 'A Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM) broke through this morning at Vasant Kunj Station after boring a 1550 meter-long tunnel. This tunnel breakthrough was achieved using a mammoth 91-metre-long TBM. Two parallel circular tunnels for up and down movement are being constructed on this stretch as part of the Aerocity-Tughlakabad corridor. The breakthrough on the other parallel tunnel was achieved on 06.03.2025,' it added. According to the DMRC, this new tunnel has been constructed at an average depth of approximately 22.86 meters (min depth 15.48 mtr & max. 30.25). About 1105 rings have been installed in the tunnel, with an inner diameter of 5.8 meters. The tunnel has been built using the proven technology of EPBM (Earth Pressure Balancing Method) with a concrete lining made of precast tunnel rings. These tunnel rings were cast at a fully mechanized casting yard set up at Mundka. The concrete segments were cured with a steam curing system to achieve early strength. All necessary safety precautions were taken during the construction of the tunnel below the existing structures. Ground movements were monitored with highly sensitive instruments fixed on nearby structures, ensuring that there was no settlement anywhere, the DMRC stated. As part of the Phase 4 work approved so far, 40.109 kilometres of underground lines are being constructed. The Aerocity-Tughlakabad corridor has underground sections totalling 19.343 kilometres. A TBM is a machine used to excavate tunnels with a circular cross-section through various soil and rock strata. They can be designed to bore through anything from hard rock to sand. TBMs have revolutionized tunnelling work worldwide, enabling tunnels to be bored without disturbing buildings and other surface structures. TBMs are particularly useful for underground tunnelling work in congested urban areas. DMRC has been using TBMs for its tunneling work since Phase 1. In Phase 3, when approximately 50 kilometres of underground sections were built, about 30 TBMs were deployed in the national capital. (ANI)

Baron Zemo Reportedly Returning in MARVEL ZOMBIES Animated Series — GeekTyrant
It looks like the undead aren't the only ones crawling back for Marvel Zombies . According to a new scoop from @MyTimeToShineH, Captain America: Civil War villain Baron Zemo is reportedly set to return in the upcoming animated Marvel Zombies series. Whether or not Daniel Brühl is reprising the role hasn't been confirmed yet, but it's hard to picture Zemo without him. Marvel Zombies will expand on the fan-favorite episode from What If...? Season 1, where we saw our heroes battling a horrifying, zombified version of the MCU. That story ended with Spider-Man, T'Challa, and Ant-Man's floating head flying to Wakanda… unaware that a zombified Thanos was standing by with a fully loaded Infinity Gauntlet. The new series is set to pick up on that cliffhanger and push the carnage forward, this time centering on a mostly Phase 4 roster of characters. As for Zemo? The last we saw of him, he was last scene in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier . In the comics, Zemo famously led the Thunderbolts, a team of villains pretending to be heroes who, over time, actually became heroes. The live-action Thunderbolts* movie skipped that plot entirely, and Zemo was nowhere to be seen. (Though it's been said he was briefly considered.) So what's a scheming genius doing in a zombie apocalypse? We don't know yet. There's no confirmation if he'll be undead himself or one of the last brilliant minds still trying to stay alive. But if Marvel knows what it's doing, Zemo's inclusion won't be just for a gruesome cameo. Back in February, Marvel Studios' Head of TV, Streaming, and Animation Brad Winderbaum revealed: 'Hudson [Thames] has been our animated voice for Spider-Man in the MCU so far. In What If...?, in Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, and he also plays Spider-Man in Marvel Zombies, which comes out Halloween time this year.' Hudson Thames will be joined by a pretty stacked voice cast: Elizabeth Olsen as Scarlet Witch, Awkwafina as Katy, David Harbour as Red Guardian, Simu Liu as Shang-Chi, Randall Park as Jimmy Woo, Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova, Hailee Steinfeld as Hawkeye, Dominique Thorne as Ironheart, Iman Vellani as Ms. Marvel, and Todd Williams in a mysterious role. The four-episode animated series is directed by Bryan Andrews and written by Zeb Wells, with executive producers Kevin Feige, Louis D'Esposito, Brad Winderbaum, Dana Vasquez-Eberhardt, Wells, and Andrews. The official synopsis is keeping it vague for now, simply stating: 'From Marvel Animation, 'Marvel Zombies' comes in time for Halloween in October 2025.' Marvel Zombies premieres October 3, 2025.

Sibu flood mitigation Phase 4 awaits SPA green light, Bukit Assek rep calls for swift approval
SIBU June 9 — The design for Phase 4 of Sibu flood mitigation project is complete and currently awaiting approval from the Sarawak Planning Authority (SPA), said Bukit Assek assemblyman Joseph Chieng. Joseph expressed hope that the tendering process will commence this year, enabling the project to begin in 2026. 'Now it's subject to SPA approval, then we can proceed straight to tender. I hope we can tender it this year and start work next year,' he said. He highlighted that Phase 4 of the project addresses a vital 'missing link' between Jalan Aman and Kampung Hilir, and aims to protect approximately 618 hectares of central Sibu, including Bukit Assek. He said this to reporters when met during a sacrificial meat distribution event at Masjid Al-Muhajirin Sentosa yesterday, held in conjunction with Hari Raya Aidiladha. Also in attendance were Sarawak United People's Party (SUPP) Bukit Assek chairman Datuk Chieng Buong Toon and mosque chairman Ramli Hussin. During the event, Joseph contributed one cow to the sacrificial ceremony, which saw a total of seven cows slaughtered for distribution to families in need. 'We respect the values of Islam, particularly compassion, charity, and helping the poor. These are universal values shared by all, regardless of religion, background, or race,' he said. This year's distribution targeted the underprivileged families, reinforcing the celebration's message of solidarity and support across the community. — The Borneo Post
