Dua Lipa Dublin review: Relentlessly high-energy set is a victory lap for pop royalty
Midway through her crowd-pleasing set, Dua Lipa plays one of her emblematic songs, Physical. It is a veritable workout anthem and the British-Albanian superstar gives it her all. It's a five-minute all-singing, all-dancing, all-running performance that would have lesser mortals in a crumbled heap at the end. The thing is, though, that Lipa maintains this relentlessly high-energy routine for virtually all of her two-hour show. For the modern day pop behemoth, you have to be as much of an endurance athlete as a singer, and when it comes to calorie-burning heroics, Dua Lipa is in a league all of her own.

Queen Is Unlike Most Bands When It Comes To The Charts
Queen's name remains ever-present on the music charts in the United Kingdom. The group's catalog is so filled with hit singles that at least one compilation powered by its songs keeps the band on the weekly rankings, and in some cases, multiple collections appear. That's the case this frame, as several of Queen's most popular compilations not only make room on the charts, but return to them – but there's no crossover between the band's comebacks. Queen's Greatest Hits is present on four lists in the U.K. this week, and it returns to two of them. Typically, when a collection reappears on multiple rankings, it's because consumption of the set is growing in one form or another. This time around, Greatest Hits breaks back onto both the Official Albums Sales and Official Physical Albums charts at Nos. 87 and 86, respectively. At the same time, it declines on both the Official Albums Streaming roster and the Official Albums ranking, which measures the most consumed full-lengths and EPs in the nation. Queen also finds its way back to the Official Album Downloads chart, but not with Greatest Hits. Instead, another similar compilation, The Platinum Collection, reappears at No. 76 on the ranking of the most downloaded projects in the U.K. Queen currently appears on five different albums rankings in the nation with multiple projects, but there's no overlap between them at the moment. The outfit doesn't take up more than one space on a single list at a time, and yet there's enough interest in the band's work to power the two titles. Queen has reached No. 1 on most of the tallies the group currently appears on with these albums – but not in every instance. Greatest Hits still has yet to become the most-streamed release in the U.K. at any point, as it has thus far peaked at No. 5 on the Official Albums Streaming roster. The Platinum Collection, meanwhile, has climbed as high as No. 4, despite the fact that it has lived on the list for 356 frames. It's not uncommon for legacy acts like Queen to continue charting thanks to compilations, as that is typically how most fans revisit the smash hits that made a band famous in the first place. What's notable when it comes to Queen's performance is that the group remains on these rankings for hundreds of weeks at a time — and that the rockers can sometimes see multiple similar compilations live on the tallies simultaneously. That consistent presence shows that there is demand not just for these projects, but also for the tunes featured on their tracklists.

Sabrina Carpenter Returns To No. 1 As Her Next Era Is About To Begin
The next era of Sabrina Carpenter's reign as one of the biggest pop stars in the world is about to kick off. The singer recently announced a new single titled "Man Child," which is slated to drop on Thursday, June 5. As the singer-songwriter heads into another chapter, the album that turned her into a pop powerhouse, Short N' Sweet, is in charge yet again. Carpenter returns to the No. 1 spot on the Official Albums chart in the United Kingdom with her full-length Short N' Sweet. The title steps up from second place to become the most consumed collection in the country. That's quite the accomplishment for a project that reaches a milestone 40 frames on the roster as it regains control of the throne. Short N' Sweet has now led the charge in the U.K. for five nonconsecutive frames. Interestingly, none of those have been in a row. The title debuted at No. 1 in early September 2024 and last ruled in March of this year. Throughout its lifetime, Carpenter's breakout project has never fallen outside of the top five. In fact, the lowest it's ever declined is No. 5 — a position it reached in February, but only for one stint. Short N' Sweet manages to succeed despite declining on most of the consumption-based rosters that help dictate where a title lands on the Official Albums chart. The set drops to No. 20 on both the Official Albums Sales and Official Physical Albums rankings and holds in last place at No. 100 on the Official Album Downloads list. It does, however, rule the Official Albums Streaming roster, as it seems that plays on platforms like Spotify and Apple Music are largely keeping Carpenter's full-length going. This week, Carpenter fends off competition from legendary pop-rock band Sparks. The American group almost scores its first No. 1 with its twenty-eighth full-length Mad!, which instead settles for second place. That's still a new high point for the outfit. Last week's champion, I'm the Problem by Morgan Wallen, drops from No. 1 to No. 10. Short N' Sweet is being kept afloat largely by the continued success of a number of huge hits featured on its tracklist. Carpenter scores six big songs on the U.K. charts this week, five of which come from her Grammy-winning project. "Espresso" and "Please Please Please" are the top performers, while "Taste," "Busy Woman," and "Bed Chem" follow behind.
