Smell like summer for £25 – PHLUR's new fragrance mists are a summer must-have
Metro journalists select and curate the products that feature on our site. If you make a purchase via links on this page we will earn commission – learn more On the hunt for your new signature summer scent? Good news: PHLUR has just dropped not one, not two, but three intoxicating new body sprays – and each one is a love letter to sensual summer days you need in your rotation. Perfectly suited to warm weather, sun-streaked terraces and endless evenings, these new PHLUR body sprays have been designed to shroud you in holiday scents, delivering addictive fragrance in every spritz. This summer is all about light and fresh scents that ooze palatable gourmand vibes – and these new releases are no exception. Aptly named Beach Skin, Peach Skin and Vanilla Nectar, the fresh trio are the perfect blend of skin scent, fruity sweetness and gourmand tastiness – and each is as delicious as the next. Boasting top notes of Bergamot, Salted Tiare Flower and Pink Pepper, heart notes of Coconut Milk and Lily of the Valley, and base notes of Sandalwood, Vanilla and Musk, Beach Skin is that evocative holiday scent bottled. shop £38 Peach Skin features top notes of Peach Bellini, Plum, Peach Skin and Bergamot, heart notes of White Freesia, Vanilla Orchid and Jasmine Nectar, and base notes of Milky Sandalwood, Sheer Amber and Coconut Caramel. shop £38 Vanilla Nectar decadently combines top notes of Papaya Nectar, Apricot and Sugared Tangelo, heart notes of Peach Blossom, Coconut Orchid and Jasmine Dew, and base notes of Whipped Vanilla, Cedar and Honeyed Amber. shop £38 While Peach Skin and Beach Skin have been released in harmony with the brand's other skin-like fragrances, which include Vanilla Skin, Caramel Skin and Coconut Skin, Vanilla Nectar blends warm fruitness with gourmand sweetness, making the trio true must-haves in your collection. Described as 'Hair and Body Fragrance Mists', these gorgeous sprays are ideal for spritzing all over yourself whenever you need an instant boost of freshness, clinging to your skin, clothes and hair with delightful longevity. Apply liberally and layer with your favourite PHLUR scents for a truly signature scent. The first in the new line-up (and potentially my favourite of the three) is Beach Skin. Emulating gauzy ocean mist, hot sand and dappled light on waves, Beach Skin bottles the scent of sun on skin, accented by the citrusy spark of bergamot and a creamy wash of coconut milk and sandalwood. Boasting top notes of Bergamot, Salted Tiare Flower and Pink Pepper, heart notes of Coconut Milk and Lily of the Valley, and base notes of Sandalwood, Vanilla and Musk, Beach Skin is that evocative holiday scent bottled. Perfumer Arielle Le Beau writes: 'I wanted to capture the feeling of stepping off the beach at golden hour, when your skin is still warmed by the sun after a long summer day. It's that blend of salty air, sun-kissed skin, and traces of sunscreen, with the sensation of sand still clinging to your skin. 'Light, fresh bergamot, the softness of coconut and a hint of fresh melon, wrapped up in the comfort of sandalwood, vanilla and musk — make the ultimate scent for a summer day.' Prefer something slightly more on the fruity side? Peach Skin is its namesake and more, described by perfumer Clement Gavarry as channelling 'the quintessential experience of peak-season fruit.' Sweet, juicy and tantalisingly ripe, Peach Skin begins with a familiar warmth enriched with notes of plum and bellini, then descends into a creamy core of milky sandalwood, sheer amber, and coconut caramel – a truly juicy, flirtatious and playful scent. It features top notes of Peach Bellini, Plum, Peach Skin and Bergamot, heart notes of White Freesia, Vanilla Orchid and Jasmine Nectar, and base notes of Milky Sandalwood, Sheer Amber and Coconut Caramel. 'I wanted to capture the feeling of biting into a perfectly ripe peach as the soft velvety skin gives way to the sweet juice,' adds Clement Gavarry. 'The fruity sensation of that first bite is elevated with sparkling bellini for radiance and earthy sandalwood for creaminess.' Finally, Vanilla Nectar will be your top pick if you're obsessed with all things sweet, fruity and playful. Vanilla Nectar decadently combines papaya nectar, apricot and sugared tangelo, melting seamlessly into a heart of peach blossom, coconut orchid, and jasmine dew. More Trending Anchored by a warm, velvety base of whipped vanilla, honeyed amber, and cedar, the scent delivers notes of creamy fruit and golden, comforting warmth. You'll find top notes of Papaya Nectar, Apricot and Sugared Tangelo, heart notes of Peach Blossom, Coconut Orchid and Jasmine Dew, and base notes of Whipped Vanilla, Cedar and Honeyed Amber. These must-have new mists come in 8oz and 3oz bottles, and cost just £38 and £25 respectively. Not sure which is for you?
