'Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition' announces vote to evict mechanic
The heat is on as "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition" heads to the Big Night. With the Big Four finalized on Saturday's episode, the show brought back a game-changing voting mechanic: the power for viewers to unlivote to evict their duo of choice. Voting — both to save and evict — will happen through the Maya app. The Big Four duos are: Charlie Fleming and Esnyr (CharEs), Ralph De Leon and Will Ashley (RaWi), AZ Martinez and River Joseph (AzVer), and Brent Manalo and Mika Salamanca (BreKa). Dustin Yu and Bianca De Vera were the latest housemates to get evicted from Bahay Ni Kuya. The much anticipated Big Night is happening on July 5. Mika Salamanca, Brent Manalo complete 'Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition' Big Four
The Big Four of 'Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition' is now complete! Saturday's episode showed the duo of Mika Salamanca and Brent Manalo winning the final Big Jump Challenge, qualifying them for the Big Night of the ongoing season. Dustin Yu and Bianca De Vera have therefore been evicted from Bahay Ni Kuya. For the challenge, the two pairs had to navigate red cups through a maze, and build the highest tower they could given the time limit. In the end, after nearly six hours, BreKa was able to create the higher tower. The winning duo was announced live on Saturday's episode. They shared teary-eyed hugs with DustBi. Mika and Brent now join the previously announced finalists: Charlie Fleming and Esnyr, Will Ashley and Ralph De Leon, and AZ Martinez and River Joseph. The much anticipated Big Night is happening on July 5. AZVer is in the Big Four! AZ Martinez and River Joseph is the third duo to make it to the Big Four of 'Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition.' AZVer won their spot after balancing blocks on their bodies for the longest amount of time during the Big Jump Challenge. They stood and balanced for six hours. As soon as Kuya announced that they won the challenge, AZ yelled, 'Thank you, Lord!' and burst into tears. River told her, 'Grabe, ang galing mo AZ. You never gave up.' River later said in the Confession Room, 'I was super relieved. It was the best feeling to finally let go of those blocks. And I looked at AZ, and I was just so happy for the both of us.' AZ said, 'I couldn't help myself talaga, Kuya. I was so happy.' She added, 'Gustong gusto ko na maging parte ng Big Four, Kuya. And finally, we made it.' AZ and River join Charlie Fleming and Esnyr, and Will Ashley and Ralph De Leon in the Big Four. Shuvee Etrata got to explore and reflect more about herself and her personal growth during her time inside "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition." Shuvee appeared on Thursday's "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda" alongside Klarisse de Guzman, where the Sparkle star was asked what she had learned about herself during her stint in the reality show. "Kaya ko po palang magmahal," Shuvee said. "With all the traumas that I've experienced, Tito Boy, parang naramdaman ko po na mataas 'yung walls ko," she said. The Island Ate of Cebu shared that she was able to learn how to compromise, empathize, and interact more deeply with others. "Alam n'yo 'yung willing po akong mag-accept ng love and 'yun po, kaya marami pong pagmamahal po na nabibigay," Shuvee said. Shuvee and Klarisse were the latest housemates to get evicted from "PBB." During her time in the house, Shuvee had several viral moments, like sitting in between Klarisse and Dustin Yu during their confrontation, her kilig reaction to houseguest Donny Pangilinan, and, of course, her TDH acronym. Shuvee is part of the cast of "Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre" as Veshdita. It airs from Mondays to Fridays at 8 p.m. after "24 Oras." Will Ashley finally hugs his mom; Ralph De Leon gets boost from dad
Kuya's surprise for his Big Four housemates continued on the latest episode of "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition." On Thursday, Will Ashley reunited with his mom and Ralph De Leon reunited with his dad as a special treat from Kuya ahead of the Big Night. Will showed everyone why he's the Mama's Dreambae of Cavite and the Nation's Son, turning into a soft little boy when he saw Mommy Mindy in the living room. He ran towards her and hugged her at once, something that he had wanted to do since the first nomination night. He also cried happy tears and told her repeatedly, "Miss kita." After the emotional mother and son reunion, Will saw that Mommy Mindy brought his favorite food in the house: his beloved siomai. He introduced his mom to the housemates and they all sat down in the dining area to chat. A little later, Ralph's father, Tito Raffy, entered the house from the confession room. Ralph ran to greet him and also hugged him tight. Tito Raffy brought Ralph's favorite food, shrimp, which he shared with the rest of the housemates. The elder De Leon gamely went along with the housemates with they began to tease AZ Martinez with his presence. Mommy Mindy and Tito Raffy also joined forces with their respective children to begin the housemates' weekly task. Mommy Mindy and Will were the first duo to try maneuvering the ball in the "Road to Big Night" challenge. They succeeded dropping the ball in the target hole after a few tries of figuring out their technique. Ralph and Tito Raffy followed suit and did it perfectly in one try. The housemates will continue doing the task themselves, as Mommy Mindy and Tito Raffy had to end their visit. Previously, Esnyr and Charlie Fleming were also visited by their father and mother. RaWi and CharEs were the first two duos to make it to the Big Four. The remaining two spots will be decided via the upcoming Big Jump challenges.
