All eyes are on Google after Samsung, Vivo unveils premium foldable devices
With Samsung and Vivo unveiling their latest foldables, Google could be next in line for a major hardware launch. The company is expected to host its Made by Google 2025 event next month, where it will likely introduce the Pixel 10 series, including the Pixel 10 Pro Fold, and updated wearables like the Pixel Watch 4 and Pixel Buds 2a. Made By Google 2025: Expected schedule Last year, Google moved its Pixel launch timeline from October to August, revealing devices earlier than usual. A similar schedule is expected this year, with the Made by Google 2025 event likely to take place in the second week of August. For context, the 2024 edition was held on August 13. According to 9to5Google, the Pixel 10 lineup could be unveiled by mid-August, with deliveries potentially starting around August 20. Made By Google 2025: Pixel 10 series, Pixel Watch 4, Buds 2a expected Pixel 10 series: The anticipated Google Pixel 10 series is expected to encompass four models: Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and Pixel 10 Pro Fold. Google is unlikely to introduce a major design overhaul this year, instead opting for subtle refinements. However, notable changes are expected in the camera department, particularly for the base model. The standard Pixel 10 may adopt the same main and ultra-wide camera sensors seen in the Pixel 9a, which would represent a downgrade compared to the Pixel 9. It might compensate for this by adding a telephoto lens with 5x periscope-style optical zoom, similar to the one found on the Pixel 9 Pro Fold. The Pixel 10 Pro and 10 Pro XL are expected to retain their current camera systems, while the Pixel 10 Pro Fold may also switch to the Pixel 9a's primary sensor, replacing the higher-resolution sensor previously used in the foldable model. All four devices are expected to run on Google's upcoming Tensor G5 chipset and boot Android 16 out of the box. Last year, Pixel 9 launched with Android 14 even though Android 15 was already in preview. Google is likely to change that this year as Android 16 is already rolling out to eligible Pixel devices. Additionally, the Pro models may support the Qi2 wireless charging standard. Alongside the Pixel 10 series smartphones, Google is anticipated to launch wearable devices including the Pixel Watch 4 and Pixel Buds 2a. Pixel Watch 4: Details on the Pixel Watch 4 remain limited, but TechRadar recently reported that it will be available in 41mm and 45mm sizes, similar to the previous generation. It may also be offered in new colour variants, including: Silver/Porcelain Silver/Iris Gray/Moonstone Black/Obsidian Gold/Lemon Pixel Buds 2a: Google is also expected to refresh its Pixel Buds A-series lineup with a new model, likely called Pixel Buds 2a. These earbuds are tipped to include updated audio drivers for improved sound quality and new colour options like: Hazel Strawberry Iris Fog Light Made By Google 2025: Expected pricing of Pixel 10 series According to a recent 9to5Google report, pricing for the Pixel 10 lineup will largely mirror last year's Pixel 9 series. Here's a look at the anticipated European pricing: Pixel 10: €899 (128GB) Pixel 10 Pro: €1,099 (128GB) Pixel 10 Pro XL: €1,299 (256GB) Pixel 10 Pro Fold: €1,899 (256GB) As for accessories, the Pixel Buds 2a are expected to be priced at €149, up from €109 for the original Pixel Buds A-Series.

Google Pixel Watch 4 colors and sizes leak

The Pixel Watch 4 is said to come in 41mm and 45mm sizes, both with and without 4G LTE connectivity. The colorways will be called Obsidian, Lemon, Moonstone, Iris, and Porcelain. Fresh leak reveals critical info about Google's Pixel Watch 4
Google Pixel Watch 4 render | Image credit: @OnLeaks via 91Mobiles The smartwatch market is not nearly as crowded as the smartphone market, but that doesn't mean that competition isn't just as fierce. Between Apple and Samsung, Google is trying to find its own audience in the United States. If you're a Google fan who prefers the company's Pixel products, a fresh leak is spilling all the colors of the upcoming Pixel Watch 4 . That includes the case colors and the band options that customers will be able to choose from once Google's smartwatch goes on sale. According to reliable tipster @MysteryLupin, the Wi-Fi and LTE versions of Pixel Watch 4 will be available in two sizes: 41mm and 45mm. Both will come in four case/band colors, which we have listed below: Black/Obsidian Gold/Lemon Moonstone Silver/Iris Silver/Porcelain Besides those, Google will also launch a slew of Pixel Watch 4 bands, each aimed at different audiences. Here are all the options that will probably be available at launch: Bands 2-Tone Leather Band: Jade Active Band: Iris, Lemongrass, Moonstone Active Sport Band: Indigo, Lemongrass, Moonstone, Peony Crafted Leather Band: Moonstone Metal Mesh Band: Matte Black, Polished Silver Performance Loop Band: Moonstone Woven Band: Indigo Gradient Stretch Bands Lemongrass/Frost Moonstone Obsidian/Hazel Peony/Iris It's unclear if some these colors will only be available with the larger or smaller size Pixel Watch 4 , like it happened with the previous model. In any case, if you're considering the Pixel Watch 4 , you'll plenty of hues to choose from this year. Google Pixel Watch 4 render | Image credit: @OnLeaks via 91Mobiles One other piece of information revealed by the leaker is the fact that the bands will be available in sizes 1 to 5, but it remains to be seen if this is available for both Pixel Watch 4 sizes. While plenty information about Pixel 10 leaked, there are very few details about Google's upcoming smartwatch. The only major Pixel Watch 4 leak dates from April and comes in the form of a set of renders made by @OnLeaks . Based on these renders, there won't be too many case design changes between the current-gen Pixel Watch and the next model. The only changes that we're aware of are wireless charging support and two mysterious buttons positioned to the left and right of the speaker. No release timeframe for the Pixel Watch 4 has leaked yet, but it's worth mentioning that Google introduced the Pixel Watch 3 and August, so an announcement might be just one month away. Google's Pixel 10 phones will reportedly launch on August 13th
Google will reportedly launch the Pixel 10 series at a Made by Google event on August 13th, with the handsets arriving in stores a week later on the 20th. Leaker @MysteryLupin was the first to tip the launch date, which Android Headlines echoed just minutes later, adding in the extra detail of when the phones will actually reach buyers. This year Google is expected to launch four Pixel 10 phones, with a regular model, Pro, Pro XL, and Pro Fold. It's likely Google will announce the Pixel Watch 4 at the same event. Plenty of details about the Pixel 10 series have leaked so far. The base model is expected to join the others in having three cameras, adding a telephoto to its lineup, but will make some camera quality tradeoffs to get there. The Pro models, including the Fold, are rumored to change less, with near-identical camera hardware and designs to last year, leaning instead on an upgraded Tensor G5 chipset with advanced AI features to motivate Pixel fans to upgrade. As for the Pixel Watch 4, leaked renders suggest it'll be thicker than the previous generation, which may mean a bigger battery. Google has apparently tweaked the watch's charging tech, too, and added a couple of mysterious new buttons. It should also mark the debut of Google's Gemini AI assistant on its smartwatches, while all the new Pixel devices will boast the company's youthful new Material 3 Expressive design language on the software side. Last year's Pixel 9 series also launched on August 13th, though those phones took longer to go on sale, with the 9 Pro Fold not arriving for almost a month.

Forget the Pixel Watch 4, this is the Wear OS watch I'm looking forward to the most
Kaitlyn Cimino / Android Authority While the Pixel Watch 4 is generating plenty of buzz, the Wear OS watch I'm actually looking forward to the most is a potential OnePlus Watch 3R. The Watch 2R showed up about six months after the OnePlus Watch 2. If the current generation follows the same pattern, we should be seeing a 3R soon. With tariffs driving up prices across the board, a well-priced budget smartwatch (that doesn't compromise on essentials) is more appealing than ever. Would you be interested in a budget-friendly, OnePlus Wear OS watch over the Pixel Watch 4? 0 votes Yes, definitely. NaN % No, definitely not. NaN % Maybe. NaN % Still relatively fresh off my review of the OnePlus Watch 3, I'm itching to see the company launch a budget model follow-up. Last year, the OnePlus Watch 2R landed at $229, instantly making it one of the most affordable Wear OS watches available. What was most impressive, though, was how little OnePlus sacrificed to hit that price point. Kaitlyn Cimino / Android Authority The 2R keeps the same powerful dual-chip architecture found in the company's flagship model, and during my review, that translated to solid performance and fantastic multi-day battery life (more than twice the Pixel Watch 3). While I hope to see battery life improvements on the Pixel Watch 4, I do not anticipate Google catching up to OnePlus quite yet. The Watch 2R also boasts a symmetrical, circular design that I find much more attractive than the odd shape of the Watch 2. Built from lightweight aluminum, it doesn't feel cheap on the wrist, and the buttons make more sense than the 2's non-functional rotating crown. OnePlus Watch 2R offers a robust user experience and fantastic battery life at a very attractive price. That isn't to say the 2R was perfect. It launched with an older version of Wear OS and lacks LTE. Yet, if a OnePlus Watch 3R is on the way, I'm hoping OnePlus sticks to the formula that made the 2R such a sleeper hit, with some improvement. In short, I'm looking for a competitive price that undercuts premium Wear OS rivals, a clean and functional design (hopefully bringing back the symmetrical case), and most importantly, the same unmatched battery life. Kaitlyn Cimino / Android Authority There's also plenty of room for OnePlus to improve its affordable lineup. For starters, the Pixel Watch 3 introduced a second case size to Google's smartwatch roster, and the Pixel Watch 4 is likely to maintain that offering. OnePlus can feel oversized on smaller wrists, so offering a second case size would broaden the line's appeal. I want to see the OnePlus Watch 3R land with LTE support and mulitple case sizes. I'd also love to see the 3R launch with the latest version of Wear OS out of the box, instead of lagging behind like the 2R. Paying for outdated software is a tough pill to swallow, especially when the Pixel Watch 4 will almost certainly ship with the newest version. Likewise, OnePlus needs to refine its health and fitness tracking. At launch, the Watch 3's ECG support wasn't certified for use in the U.S. or Canada, effectively nullifying the company's new '60-Second Health Check-In' feature in key markets. Hopefully, those certifications are sorted out before a potential 3R arrives so users can access all of the device's features right out of the box. Kaitlyn Cimino / Android Authority Finally, I'm crossing my fingers we will see LTE support added to the lineup, though that may be a long shot on a budget-friendly model. Thanks to LTE on the Pixel Watch line, I can head out without my phone, making Google's watches highly convenient. If OnePlus were to offer even optional LTE on the 3R, it would instantly make the watch a more competitive daily driver. Rumors about a potential Watch 3R are sparse, but I'm still hopeful. With all of that said, we've yet to hear any concrete rumors about a OnePlus Watch 3R on the horizon. That doesn't mean it isn't coming; it just might not be anytime soon. If a launch was imminent, we'd have heard some murmuring by now. The OnePlus Watch 2R quietly proved that a budget Wear OS watch doesn't have to feel like a compromise. If OnePlus keeps that momentum going with the 3R, it could go toe-to-toe with the Pixel Watch 4.
